It's been our fifth stay at Novotel Gdansk Marina and I think it was the best. Last time we were there a year ago and the hotel has been renovated since. The rooms have been refurbished with new beds, totally new bathroom and internal fit-out. There's subtle artwork on the walls and room is much more comfortable due to the renovation. Additional sofa bed allows for extra sleeping space or for relaxing. There's fully equipped gym with cardio and CrossFit training areas. I really recommend this hotel for couples, families and also for business stay.

The view from this hotel is stunning! I visited the place at the end of September, so the sea at that time was to cold to swim (not sure if it is ever warm), but just looking out of the window was beautiful.

This hotel offers nice services for kids such as free kids cinema, painting table, kid play ground inside and outside and kids swimming place. Open buffet breakfast quite good and offers wide selection of vegetables, chees, egg, fruits, pastry and bakery, breads, coffee and drinks. Hotel provide also inside swimming pool, fitness area inside and outside, sauna and beach. All services are included price only you should pay for breakfast. I strongly suggest this hotel for families who have kids. There is car parking, 24h is 70pln. Accross the street there is free street parking, you can park there also.

I've been visiting this hotel along with a certain event for last few years and I gotta say it's one of my favorites. Hotel staff and the owner himself are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are reasonably sized (not super big but they're not tightly small either), tidy and comfortable. Views from the windows are also pretty nice, from three different sides of the hotel guests have a view on the beach (photo related). The conference rooms are quite well equipped and the staff is always happy to provide whatever is needed for the meeting. Food is also pretty good, quite big choice during a breakfast as well as good coffee and fresh fruit juice. The bar have also a nice choice of dinners, I personally recommend burgers. I'm always happy to return to this hotel and very saddened whenever I have to leave. I'm looking forward for my next visit.

Amazing breakfast, really good location ( close to the beach), great staffs, clean and super good service. The restaurant ( Fish and Gin) it’s really good too. They prepared a surprise for my birthday with balloons and fruits. And a super nice room view of the sea!

Nice clean room, modern but at the same time some parts feel slightly outdated. Bathroom was lovely though, and had a heated radiator. For a 4* hotel the in room facilities were a bit lacking, tea and coffee supplies were basic and only 2 paper cups provided. Swimming pool was smaller than I thought, and being used for aqua aerobics when I wanted to use, no towel or gown were offered. Breakfast was pretty good, but lacking in variety compared to some other hotels I paid a similar price to. I would come back to this hotel though. Very close to the beach.

This hotel doesn’t live up to the Novotel brand name, and to be honest this seems like Ibis, which doesn’t mean it’s a bad hotel if marketed accordingly. The only thing that implies this is a Novotel are the gym and swimming pool, which are free for hotel guests. The breakfast isn’t great, with a limited selection of not that great tasting food. I’ve heard several people complain of an upset stomach after eating the breakfast here, but I don’t know if it is to blame, as I didn’t get sick myself. There isn’t any restaurant onsite, only a lobby bar that is marketed as a restaurant, but the food served there is typical of a hotel bar, with a limited selection - burgers, pizza, panini, some fried fish, and the quality doesn’t match the high prices asked. At least they have a wide selection of alcohol. The room is quite good, but nothing to write home about, and we found the bed too hard for our liking. But at least the view from the window was good! Also, this is just nitpicking, but they have quite annoying elevators which announce the doors opening/closing, the direction of travel, and the floor. This in itself wouldn’t be an issue, but you can hear this from the seventh floor even if the elevator is in the lobby.

Location +++ Food + Price + View +++ if you're high up on the top floor, poor view otherwise.

The location is good if you’re interested in visiting the beach. It is rather far from the city center. The hotel facilities were adequate and they even have daily entertainment for the little ones. The pool was wonderful which compensated for the fact that the sea was too cold for swimming. Our room was clean and well-equipped. Breakfasts were rich and the staff made sure to immediately replenish items that were running out. Fast check-in wasn’t as fast as I would’ve expected and the receptionists were more formal rather than welcoming. We didn’t have the best view and the bed for our kids wasn’t made upon arrival, although the pillows and sheets were provided. (Not sure if this is a new policy. It didn’t matter that much to us though.) Parking was quite expensive considering that it isn’t covered. Also, if you intend to do some trips with the car, you might as well find street parking which is cheaper and almost at the same distance to the hotel.

We loved the variety of activities for our 1.5 year old. Amazing breakfast options. Great facilities, too bad we didn't stay enough to try them all out.

We were part of a wedding party so the hotel was recommended for us, although we have stayed at many Novotel hotels. This hotel was typical of other Novotel hotels insofar as it was modern, clean, comfortable rooms etc. but with the added advantage of being at a great location as it was next to one of the best beaches we have seen, it was within walking distance of Sopot town centre via a direct walk / cycle path alongside the beach where you will pass a number of restaurants and beach bars which is accesed at the rear of the hotel. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and efficient, particularly the reception and bar staff who spoke good English (for us ignorant Brits). The drinks and food at the hotel were similar to most other places in Gdansk and Sopot which means cheap, however the breakfast prices were comparable with UK hotel prices but offered a good variety, but may not be to everyone's tastes. There are a number of beach establishments nearby that offer cheaper alternatives.

Thank you very much for some beautiful days in Gdańsk. The hotel was really nice and the staff was very helpful and friendly. I want to thank especially Weronika, who was very professional and a real expert in all questions I had.
