I had to edit today. Unfortunately, although there's security at the door, they have zero control over people partying ands going crazy all night. We were woken up all night and had our door knocked on by drunk guys who couldn't figure out which room was theirs at 5 am. The staff did nothing. Beautiful view and walking distance to everything. The rooms are simple but clean. It has an awesome atmosphere of the 30s mixed with the communist Era - for a history buff it's a great place to stay. The atmosphere reminded me of the Queen Mary for some reason.

Not so friendly straff. NO refrigirator anywhere on the hotell nor the rooms and they refused to help us. Really uncomfortable beds. NO boiler or microwave in the room. Some disturbing traffic outside hotel at evening.

I really enjoyed my stay at Dom Marynarza. The hotel is located less than 5 minutes walking from the sea. The building is well kept and the staff is nice. Breakfasts are generous and very tasty. There were mostly Polish people staying, so not sure how well an English speaking guest would find this hotel. Great value for money. Highly recommend!

Its located at the boardwalk of Gdynia. Very close to the seaside and is the old hotel where the sailors were staying when they were on shore leave.

You get what you pay for, but it's a cozy place for the money.

Rähjäinen vanha kunnostusta kaipaava hotelli. WC.n lattia seinänvierustoilta lian peittämä. Huonot patjat. Aamiainen tavanomainen.

I DO NOT RECCOMEND!! The hotel itself is quite close to the ocean, but that is the only good thing. Our bed sheets were torn, and the room itself wasn't fresh. NOT worth the money. We planned to stay 2 nights, but gave up after one and checked out early. We got a better hotel for less price. Breakfast was NOT good at all, the smell of the food makes you lose your apetite.

Maybe it would be nice 4 decades ago if they cared enough to clean (there are some things on the ground and hair under the pillow). The bathroom smells horribly too.

I feel sorry for my shoes having to walk on the filthy carpets here. But seriously I think there is some small dead animals buried underneath.
