4*
is
really
a
little
low
for
this
hotel
but
5*
would
be
too
high.
It's
a
solid
4.5*
Firstly,
the
location
is
excellent
-
not
even
5
minutes
from
the
main
station.
Until
the
end
of
WW2,
the
building
was
part
of
the
station
complex,
housing
the
rail
inspectorate.
The
hotel
itself
is
very
nice
-
a
lot
of
thought
has
gone
into
the
decor.
The
rooms
are
also
very
nice
-
there's
a
fridge,
a
safe,
and
a
kettle.
No
minibar
but
that
was
not
an
issue
for
me.
The
staff
were
a
mixed
bag
-
I
spoke
to
two
different
receptionists:
one
was
polite
but
not
exactly
welcoming
or
giving
off
the
impression
he
was
overly
interested
in
his
work.
The
other
guy
I
spoke
to
was
friendly,
helpful,
and
efficient.
The
bed
was
comfy
and
the
shower
amazing.
I
didn't
get
any
food
from
the
restaurant,
so
I
can't
comment
on
that
but
I
did
go
down
for
a
drink.
Again,
it
was
a
nice
room
and
clearly
a
lot
of
effort
had
been
put
into
it.
The
bartender
on
the
other
hand
could
not
have
been
less
interested
in
serving
us
-
when
we
eventually
left,
he
didn't
even
acknowledge
us
when
we
said
goodnight.
Unfortunately,
there
were
a
few
things
that
stopped
it
being
5*
but
they
were
fairly
minor
things...
the
carpet
is
looking
a
little
tired
now
-
it's
perhaps
coming
up
for
replacement
or
it
just
looks
older
than
it
is.
One
of
the
towels
had
a
hole
in
it
(as
did
the
wall),
the
bathroom
mirror
light
wasn't
working
in
one
room
and
the
bin
in
the
bathroom
hadn't
been
emptied
during
cleaning
after
the
last
occupant
left
in
the
other
room.
The
hotel
is
situated
on
a
busy
road
next
to
a
train
line
&
a
tram
line.
Whilst
it's
impossible
to
eliminate
all
noise,
it's
quieter
than
expected.
All
I
heard
was
the
occasional
tram
and
one
or
two
cars
whose
owners
decide
that
the
main
road
is
actually
a
race
track.
These
things
are
pretty
minor
and
overall
the
hotel
just
needs
a
little
more
attention
to
detail
which
would
fix
almost
all
issues.
The
only
real
disappointment
was
the
beer
situation.
Part
of
what
drew
me
to
the
hotel
was
the
name:
"Craft
Beer
Central".
I
was
expecting
a
wide
selection
of
craft
beers.
Turns
out
they
make
3
-
an
IPA,
a
Lager,
&
a
Dark
beer.
This
seems
like
a
massive
missed
opportunity
and
ever
so
slightly
misleading
-
I
really
expected
more
than
3
to
say
the
whole
concept
of
the
hotel
is
built
around
them
brewing
their
own
beers.
Don't
get
me
wrong,
it
is
a
lovely
hotel
and
it
would
be
hard
to
beat
in
terms
of
value
-
I've
paid
more
for
worse
hotels
just
in
Gdańsk.
If
it
was
one
or
two
minor
issues,
I
wouldn't
be
as
bothered
but
with
there
being
quite
a
few,
I
just
can't
give
it
5*,
however
I
would
certainly
book
again
if
I
was
in
Gdańsk.
