Convenient city location. Reasonable priced three hours package with 4 pizzas and 8 drinks included. Friendly and attentive staff. Empty drink bottles and pizza boxes are cleaned up regularly.

This pool hall was amazing! Located very close to Southern Cross Station and tram 12 on Collins St, it’s a colourful presence when you walk in! There are pool tables, darts and a bar to hang out at with comfortable chairs for waiting. The staff are extremely friendly, remember your order and there’s a great after work happy hour from 5-7pm! There’s plenty of space around tables to make your shot, but does have less tables than some other pool halls and because of the convenience of paying for time per minute instead of a minimum of an hour, it’s greatly flexible but you may not know how long your wait for a table is.

Walked in on a Friday after work to play pool. Being 2023 we don’t generally carry wallets but they wanted a physical ID to book a table for an hour ($18). Showed her photo of Drivers License but wasn’t good enough. Offered to pay up front for the table so there was no risk of us running off but they still couldn't do it because ‘policy’. Antiquated business model.

Place is good , tables are in good condition . Went with frnds on Tuesday evening this week, to be honest staff need to be taught proper customer service skills ,if not then atleast be taught how to be polite and some common manners. Never stepping into this place , will stick to icue lounge in qv with awesome staff and service.

The staff was miserable, seemed bitter about her job and clearly didn't want to be there. Didn't explain their one min drink policy on arrival, only explained it after we started playing and had no intention of any customer service. There's also passive aggressive signs on every surface of the venue, it's like they're being held hostage forced to take customers in (place was mad empty though). From the other reviews, doesn't look they're going to change. Would recommend if you want a karen's diner alternative since they're closing down soon.

Hard to find at first but was very comfy and chilled, accommodated my rowdy group of guys with no problem. Nice straight cues and clean tables. Note that these are American style tables, big balls and pockets. Only detraction was a little heavy on the air freshener haha!

Spent a fantastic 3 hours here in August 2023 playing UK pool. Could have had more options for food (we ate their stock of chips) and a happy hour. Wish I had known about the hourly fee... that was an unpleasant surprise. Otherwise really fun!!!

Prices of drinks are quite high, we regularly visit pulo pool, most previous visit there were some roudy guests that were loud shouting obscenities. Staff didn't do anything, only told them off to not vape which was disappointing. Pool tables and cues are good quality and maintained.

Really terrible service. The man who served us was very rude- it was our first time at Pulo and he was not explaining anything to us and getting short with us for asking. He refused us the student discount on the basis that we needed to show student ID BEFORE we started playing, which he didn’t state to us nor was this written anywhere in the Ts and Cs of the student discount deal. Also WAY too expensive... we left paying $29 for 4 games of pool. Really horrible experience Would NOT recommend. Will never be coming back and will tell all my friends to avoid it.

On my first visit to Pulo Pool Parlour, I was immediately struck by the quirky music and fairy-like lights. It felt like stepping into a storybook. The place oddly reminded me of my childhood in the Philippines. A girl nearby even asked if I was Filipino, as if the atmosphere brought out my accent! Despite having no windows, the view was somehow impressive. I saw two impressive “mountains” and even felt like I was breathing fresh air - quite a feat for a windowless room. The staff’s attitude was definitely memorable, but for all the wrong reasons. They were so off-putting that my friend, who usually brags about his pool skills, couldn’t make a single shot all night. He blamed it on a spat with the staff. Despite these quirks, we ended up having a great time. It felt like we’d received a five-star Chinese Massage treatment by the end of the night. Hats off to Pulo Pool Parlour for such a unique experience!

Surprisingly a really nice venue, which is underground adding to the pool bar ambience. Nice staff who kept the place really clean. There’s a decent amount of space between each pool table but there were a few times you’d get in peoples way while taking a shot.

This pool parlour is located down a set of stairs in a large basement like room. There's a stack of tables and a few darts games. A fully stocked bar can keep you well hydrated while you wait and while you play. The pool tables are are paid for after you've played and is based on how long you've been playing. You'll need ID to secure the pool balls, or the darts. Great environment to while away the evening with your partner or a bunch of friends.

Well maintained and properly managed pool places on CBD. It's our go to place for team events. Love playing idarts there. The drinks are moderately priced and enough pool tables for everyone. Usually not crowded on weekdays.

Visited this place on the evening of a VERY hot day just before Christmas of 2019. Was so good with the air conditioning! Awesome pool tables and associated equipment. They have a great bar with a decent range. Staff were extremely friendly and happy! I will return and totally recommend this place :)
