After
months
of
research
and
planning
(and
booking
9
months
in
advance),
I
feel
like
we
drew
the
short-straw
on
our
apartment
allocation
from
Sandy
Hill.
Our
2-bedroom
apartment
was
on
the
2nd
floor
and
our
living
area
and
bedrooms
all
faced
Bay
Road.
The
traffic
noise
from
this
busy
main
road
was
loud
and
relentless
even
in
holiday
period.
None
of
us
(2
adults,
2
teenagers)
slept
well
for
our
entire
5
night
stay.
We
couldn't
have
the
living
area
doors
open,
let
alone
use
the
balcony,
due
to
the
constant
traffic
noise.
The
small
two-bedroom
apartment
was
clean
and
nicely
furnished
with
comfy
beds
but
none
of
this
mattered
because
we
couldn’t
enjoy
the
space
or
sleep
due
to
traffic
noise.
The
narrow
lap
pool
was
lovely
but
very
small
given
the
number
of
residents/guests
in
the
entire
complex.
It
was
too
crowded
to
use
most
days
(and
we
tried
at
different
times
over
5
day
stay).
Very
disappointing
—
especially
given
peak-season
rates
($450
per
night)
and
our
first
'away'
Christmas
to
catchup
with
family
since
Covid.
Stunned
that
no
other
reviews
mention
traffic
noise!
Despite
friendly
staff,
find
it
difficult
to
recommend
unless
maybe
you
can
guarantee
an
apartment
not
facing
Bay
Road.
