The
last
time
I
visited
this
store
was
7
years
ago
and
sadly
their
service
and
staff
are
just
as
they
were
then.
I
was
walking
around
for
about
30mins
today
grabbing
swimwear,
whilst
no
one
offered
me
help
or
assistance
-
the
girls
working
there
all
remained
around
the
desk
near
the
fitting
room
chatting
to
each
other,
not
acknowledging
my
presence
-
which
to
be
fair
was
not
acknowledged
until
I
left
the
store.
I
went
to
the
change
room,
was
only
asked
how
many
items
I
had,
and
not
asked
the
usual
‘feel
free
to
ask
me
if
you
want
help
with
sizing
or
anything’
As
I
tried
on
piece
after
piece,
I
would
overhear
other
women
being
offered
help,
checked
in
on,
asked
for
different
options
-
without
them
prompting
it
first
-
whilst
I
was
left
in
silence
and
ignored
After
feeling
like
I
was
not
welcome
in
the
store
-
I
packed
the
swimwear
back
as
it
had
come
on
the
hangers,
got
changed
and
walked
out
feeling
unwanted
and
defeated.
Only
one
girl
asked
me
at
the
end
if
I
would
like
help
finding
anything
but
this
was
when
I
was
already
dressed
and
leaving
the
store.
As
a
woman
of
colour
and
the
only
one
in
that
store
at
the
time
including
the
staff
I
saw
and
other
customers
-
I
hate
to
think
this
was
why
I
was
overlooked
-
but
I
must
say
it
is
not
the
first
time
I
have
encountered
this
experience.
It
is
a
the
sadly
reality
that
for
many
woman,
including
myself
that
buying
swimwear
is
a
very
confronting,
vulnerable
experience
and
to
be
overlooked
like
this
not
once
but
twice
in
the
only
times
I
have
visited
this
establishment
is
truly
disheartening.
I
do
not
write
this
review
to
be
unkind
in
anyway,
I
just
hope
it
may
help
prevent
someone
else
from
having
the
same
experience
I
did.
