The worst meal I have ever had in Spain, and I can tell you I’ve had more hot dinners in Spain than Terry Tibbs has closed deals! The morcilla was raw in the middle, the chorizo was cooked in more salt than the Dead Sea. The solomillo was pre frozen and mushier than the new Sainsbury’s vacuum packed mince meat. The secret to the secreto ibérico is that it’s cooked to the consistency of a peasant’s boot and should big be ordered at any cost. The highlight of the meal was the gazpacho from a carton. A stray dog pissed against a flower pot by our table as we finished our ‘meal’, which about sums up our overall experience. Dine here at your peril!

Great place for a breakfast before you take off for a walk down or up the river Genal . There is a parking area just next to the restaurant and the river walks starts right there. If you are planning to have a meal later during the day, do not forget to book your table or else you most probably will have to go elsewhere as it is always fully booked by lunch time. Great BBQ selection, food is great in general and the service is really good as well. Been there in several occasions and never got disappointed. This time was a late breakfast only 😂 Highly recommended!

Couldn't ask for better, food outstanding in fact one of the group said it's the best meal she ever had. Staff great. Location rural Spain beside a river I love it. Well done.

Great portions after a huge hike , good prices. Service not so good but you dont expect more when you arrive. Very laid back and chilled vibe, quality of food is good.

This is a typical local bar. There is a good mix of Spanish and English language. The owners are kind and the food is GOOD, but not entirely "Andalusian". There is a table over looking a lovely view.

Lovely place to sit after or before a swim. Service was ok. Very limited vegetarian selection. Seemed to be a bother to ask for veggie food. The morcilla and Salchichas on skewers were lovely albeit a bit cold.

the restaurant looks cozy from the outside but the food is of mediocre quality. I don't recommend it.
