Wow. Date night with the wife was amazing. Everything was good. The meats are amazing. Artichoke dip appetizer was one of the best I've had in recent memory. Clam chowder was excellent. Had the combo platter. Brisket and chicken were absolutely outstanding. Cornbread is legit too. The layout of the restaurant is an interesting choice, especially the bar, but the decor was spot on. I'm going to put this place in my regular queue, you should too.

This place is a hidden gem in the small town of Hampshire. We decided to visit this establishment after I recently seen a friend's Facebook post about them catering a party. I am so glad we found this place because we will be going back in the near future. Everything we tried was fantastic. The only small complaint was for my sweet potato fries. They were not warm but I decided not to complain since everything else was fantastic. The staff was extremely friendly and the place was very clean. Brisket, smoked chicken and pulled pork tasted great and their bbq sauce is tasty. We tried the following: corn/queso dip, brisket sliders, smoked chicken bacon cheese sandwich, chicken tenders, Mac and cheese with pulled pork and some Guinness beers.

The service from the bar to the restaurant waitress was excellent. They made you feel important and always made sure you were taken care of. The owner walking around talking to customers is a plus and made my wife and I feel like we were part of the family. I highly recommend here for a drink or for excellent food. My wife and I are now making this our go to restaurant anytime we want to go out for the night. Thank you for the experience.

If you happen to be in the Hampshire Township and looking for great food, clean, & wonderful atmosphere to eat in....come to Copper Barrel. Service is excellent from the time I walk in to the time I walk out. Wife and I ordered the wings, ribeye steak, and ribs. All are great. Order everything else also on the menu with confidence. I did have a jalapeno cream soup. If you happen to be there on the day they make that soup. GET IT if you like spicy. It's phenomenal. Our waitress, Fallon, is perfect. Great with us throughout. Btw..I am a Hampshire resident and will come back to try the lasagna and burger. Thank you Copper Barrel! 5 stars!

Copper Barrel is a short 3 miles away from the Hampshire truckstop. Billy makes some excellent drinks and he also took care of our food order. Brisket and ribs were both great! Highly recommended.

What a fantastic place to get something to eat. The food was phenomenal. It's all as a pleasure to go somewhere and have great food. The service was pretty good, no complaints. I would recommend the combination platter enough food for two people. They're clam chowder was awesome. Deep fried double eggs are fantastic. Highly recommend this place...

Never had been here before. My wife and I took a drive from the city. We were pleasantly surprised by CB! The food and portions were great! Our waitress was so nice and the restaurant was very clean ! We will be going back

Hampshire is fortunate to have a restaurant of this caliber in it's downtown. From the appetizers, smoked meats, Friday fish fry, beer and wine selection, cocktail offerings and excellent wait staff makes this a destination restaurant you will definitely add to your favorite stops. Exceptional! Only place I've ever encountered cream of jalapeños soup which is extraordinary!! New rear patio added last year will prove to be an excellent venue once again this Summer! Manager/Hostess Michelle's presence adds to the classy ambiance of the "Restaurant Experience" and creates a welcoming feel similar to the "Supper Clubs" of yesteryear. A MUST visit restaurant in Hampshire!!!! A Five star establishment!!!! You must try!!!

It was our first time here as we do not live in the area but I would drive the hour and a half just to eat that cornbread again. It was amazing And I as a rule don’t like cornbread. We also had the ribs and chicken. Now my ribs are delicious but these are at a whole new level of delicious. The chicken was moist and tender and seasoned to perfection. The ambiance was delightful. Our server Terri was friendly and attentive. We would happily recommend eating here. I can’t wait to try the ribeye next.

First time here and had a great experience. Started with the brisket poutine which was delicious. My wife had the ribs and chicken and I had the fish fry. Everything was great. We really enjoyed the country music bingo, my daughter won a couple times! We'll be going back soon.

1st time here. Amazing atmosphere. Very friendly staff. Had the all you can eat fish fry. Tremendous. I'm definitely coming back. Highly recommend it to anyone.

I definitely recommend the fish fry (yummy). Cornbread is also great, as is the pulled pork. Service could've bin a bit more attentive but they were busy that day. Overall, good food and clean establishment.

Came here for Mother’s Day dinner I have to say excellent experience! I have a lot of food intolerances and I usually stick to what i know when dinning out. Sometimes even though I know what I ordered should not have trigger foods I still get sick. I can tell a good restaurant and they must use quality ingredients because I didn’t get sick. I had the brisket dish and tried my daughter’s ribs they were superb! My husband had their beer and whiskey as well as the brisket dish he enjoyed it too. Service was also great, the waiter was very pleasant and food was served timely. A+ rating!

Came in for the first time with my husband and kids, everything was AMAZING. We walked in to the sweetest host, Bella, who sat us right away. Our server was Hailey she was kind, efficient, and gave us such good recommendations! My husband is a big fan of spicy so she recommended the Grilled Jalapeños and they were a hit for him! For dinner we got the Ribs and Pulled Pork which were the perfect mix of tender and flavorful honestly cooked to perfection! The kids got the mac and cheese which is a smaller version of the "Barrel Mac" and they finished every bite (that's rare for my kids LOL).. Met the owner Michelle she is so friendly and humble. The work put into this place is shown through the staff and food. This small town restaurant is just an all around amazing place. My family and I HIGHLY recommend!!!

What a gem in Hampshire! Took my family here on a whim and had a great lunch. Service was excellent, and the sandwiches were tremendous. Enjoyed the corned beef reuben and the brisket! Will definitely come again.

Best place on State Street in Hampshire! Their food and staff are absolutely excellent. Top notch restaurant all around! Highly recommended to try everything on their menu! Known for their in-house smoked brisket. Their cream of jalapeño soup is to die for! Give them a try, you won't regret it!

The service was great! We were greeted from when we walked in and they sat us right away. Our waitress was amazing, sweet and cool!!! The food was all around AMAZING!!! The spinach artichoke dip was soooo good it literally was the best I ever had!!! We will definitely be coming back great vibes! ❤️

A nice Sunday evening gathering. This being my second time there I was confident that I would find lite fare. The vegetable of the day was yellow and green zucchini. Cooked to perfection. Just the right amount firm/slightly crunch, perfectly delicious.

We had Copper Barrel deliver our wedding reception meal last month, and we are still hearing compliments from our guests! They continue to praise the quality, taste, and variety and keep asking who it was that provided this amazing meal. I have an extensive list of food allergies, as did several of our guests. We tried working with other restaurants as we were searching for our caterer, and nobody came even close to how flexible and understanding Copper Barrel was. Rather than just suggesting separate meal ideas for those with allergies, they suggested menu items that worked for everybody and even altered a couple recipes to allow all the guests to eat the same buffet-style food. Not only was this incredibly inclusive and special to me who has struggled with restaurant food options, but it was also so much more cost-effective to not cater separate meals for everyone. And even the allergy-free recipes tasted amazing! In addition, working with Michelle to plan our meal was so lovely. She was very kind in answering all my questions, communicating clearly, and really working with us to create a perfect meal. By the time we got to the wedding day, I felt so confident that everything would work out perfectly. The total cost for the amount we ordered was very fair, and we ended up having delicious leftovers across many households for days! We are deeply grateful for Copper Barrel for giving us an unforgettable experience. They will always be our first choice for catering in the future!
