    The building was constructed in 2002 by the province of East Flanders on land owned by the City of Ghent. Various sports-related organizations have been based there for 15 years: mainly many federations, such as the Gymnastics Federation, the Flemish Rowing League and Parantee-Psylos, but also the East Flemish department of Sport Flanders and the Sports Service of the City of Ghent. In the evenings, the meeting rooms in the building are rented out to sports, cultural and youth associations.

    Beautiful location, modern building that radiates a nice image, but of course with the typical defects of non-working equipment and clumsy choices (windows that cannot be opened...). The course taken at ICES was in perfect order, although I suspect that more measures apply in terms of ventilation and CO2 monitoring for lessons during corona times.

    Annual outing for our annual club meeting. Elevator was not working so meeting room was moved downstairs. Large complex, well maintained and friendly staff. Wheelchair friendly as it works on all floors ;)
