We stayed two nights in the Comic Art Hotel and it was amazing. The guy at the reception was super helpful and good vibes (even speaking in Spanish with us). Each room is decorated differently and they are big, new and have everything you need during your stay. The breakfast was included and it was super complete. Recommend 100%

Was a bit nervous about this place as sometimes difficult to judge reviews about a new-ish hotel when they are either very good or really poor! But really liked this hotel which I booked fairly recently for a surprise birthday weekend for my partner. Had a luxury room on the 3rd floor which had a big bathroom, good air con, comfortable bed and was spotlessly clean as well as stylish. Also had a kettle, separate coffeemaker and a loose, proper hairdryer. The bedroom isn’t that big but more than adequate. It’s in absolutely great location- on the canal side, just a few mins walk to the historical centre but in a quiet, peaceful location. All the staff were really friendly and helpful (much like all the people of G(h)ent). I liked the restaurant suggestions they sent once I booked the hotel - each staff member has made their own recommendations and we ate in one of them which was great. Lovely breakfast with omelettes and pancakes to order and an outside terrace. Had a great time in Ghent and would definitely stay at the Comic Art hotel again.

Our party stayed in the Dalton Double and Family View rooms recently during our visit to Ghent. The hotel was lovely and both the concierge and breakfast staff were friendly, helpful and professional. We highly recommend this hotel to others. Our boys loved the comic-theme too. Can't wait for the comic museum to open so we could visit again. The hotel was only a very short walk from the Gravensteen but was incredibly quiet, and situated right next to a picturesque river.

Great hotel. Love the Comic Art features - each room has a different theme. Staff were helpful and friendly with recommendations of bars and restaurants to try and good places to visit. Breakfast was also really good. Would definitely recommend

Staying at the Comic Art Hotel was like staying with friends. It was one of the loveliest hotel experiences I've ever had. Boutique feel with 5 star service and facilities. It is a wonderfully unique hotel with exceptionally excellent staff.

Beautiful new hotel with fun comics theme. Very clean and well equipped room (although on the smaller side). Quiet and comfortable, great breakfast with wide selection and great attentive service. Walking distance to shops, cafes\restaurants and attractions.

Awesome place. If you like comics, the room will definitely be more than a place for sleeping. Everything is nice and clean. And it's next to the city center, while still being in a beautiful and quiet area.

Stayed at this beautiful hotel close to the center of Ghent last week. We are a family with young kids and booked the family room and it was simple and practical yet gorgeous. The hotel itself is in a very old building that's been tastefully renovated with modern facilities and beautiful artwork in the rooms. The breakfast was delicious with tons of options for everyone in the family - kids loved the donuts! The staff - from front desk to breakfast service - were absolutely wonderful. Super warm, helpful, and all around good vibes. The comic art throughout the hotel was great! We were visiting family in the area and will definitely be back. Our family, who also visited the hotel, will be recommending it to future visitors.
