Lovely vet. Spoke English. Very thorough and prepared our dog for her return to England.

Despite checking via email before we travelled here, arrived today to get pet passport but they said they couldn’t as I’m not a resident….. so annoying… maybe good for worming on way back but wasted time for us on this occasion. 1 star as they said yes they will give a pet passport, made the journey then said no.

Very good help, my cat had problems breathing all those years, several vets said it was nothing, during a normal vet visit, at the bascule they immediately said that they suspected the disease HCM. An investigation confirmed this. the suspicion. She is now on medication and it is well under control, but without that medication Zarahtje would probably no longer be there. And a while ago she had surgery on her knee, she now barely limps, and I see improvement every day. I have my old Zarah back! I would never go to another vet, they are a great team for us! Everything they do is explained well every time and they help you decide on possible treatments, and there is certainly no pressure on that. They give the advantages but also possible disadvantages...

We have been customers of the Bascule for years, but since our cats are indoor cats, fortunately we do not often have problems. However, we had an emergency on Sunday evening and we therefore called the Bascule; The fact that they are available 24/7 is a great added value. Fauve took her time to listen to our story and expressed all her concerns beautifully for us. She also immediately ensured that we could bring our kitten in for further examinations the next day. An emergency admission on Sunday evening was not necessarily necessary, so Fauve opted for an admission on Monday, so that she and her colleague could better administer the necessary care and examine our cat. We were also allowed to bring our other kitten for a check-up and for mental peace for both cats so that they were together during their stay in the practice. When we picked up our cats, we received a clear briefing from Fauve. Again, no sense of rush at all (which is unfortunately increasingly the case these days when you have an appointment somewhere), we received all the necessary explanation about the examinations conducted. We didn't feel like a number here or one of the many people reviewed; time was really taken for us as customers. Very nice, because you don't want to be left with questions about the health of your beloved pets. Thank you, Fauve, for your help, advice and time! Simon & Joy Pixel & Cheerah

With 3 cats in the house you will sooner or later have a price. The youngest, Shrapnel von Pondfarm, usually because he once again had to play Mr. Fightclub with the rifraf in the street. Bompie or Grandpaw because at 21 years old he sometimes has some geriatric problems. Jackie Brown the cat is young and sensible so she hasn't needed anything so far.. But if necessary, we have been helped every time. Grandpaw was admitted there for 3 days and was happy to be looked after. Schrapnel is less of a fan, because abscesses are not really pleasant treatments. Shrap plays stupid games, Shrap wins stupid prizes!! Anyway, at Bascule it goes from a friendly welcome to a cured patient.

SUPER friendly and helpful. Stray cat brought in with major problems, did not make it despite good care. Once again how cruel is man to leave his animals to their fate. That bad. There would have to be much stricter supervision if I knew who the owner was, then he or she would get the bill. Animals always suffer. I'm glad I did what I could. Thanks again fauve and colleagues. I thought 104 euros to put a rabbit to sleep was a bit overpriced. The same could be done at another vet in Ypres for 60 euros. Okay, good service, but people who do not want to let their animals suffer are abused.
