Your cozy ‘neighborhood-feels’ gem tucked directly behind DeKrook library. 70’s country bar vibe with a cute black&white checkered floor and modest wooden tables and stools with soft rock music. Not too loud. So you can still get away with a decent conversation with your date. The usual popular suspects on tap: hoegaaerden, delta ipa, stella. Super Fair prices too. Bartender was nice and spoke perfect English :-)

The place got its reputation with the locals. They are good and they have got lots of options for drinking. It is a good hanging out spot. Highly recommended when visiting the city. It is crowded so i suggest you to go early. Or simply seat at the steps!!

Nice place to have a drink. Small card for beers, but a nice collection of different kinds of beer. Friendly. Only the toilet is very small.

Great bar we encountered when walking to and from our hotel into town centre. Always busy with a good vibe, off the usual tourist route so mostly locals. Great place for a late night drink as it stays open pretty late. Recommended

Best bar in this part of town. Better than all bars in Lammerstraat. Fine music, great beers (they have tripel Karmeliet.) Great terrace to sit outside during warm evenings, or you can also use the stairs of the Minard theatre nextdoor.

No nonsens pub! Good to have a drink with friends. Love it to sit outside when the weather is good. The toilets make me feel like I am in the movie Avatar.
