We loved it here, so quirky and original with wonderful service and delicious food - a treat for all the senses! I enjoyed a lovely goats cheese salad for lunch with a nice glass of wine. We then had coffee and anecdotes before leaving and were treated to some fun tales from the host.

What a stunning little find this is, food was amazing, service was strained during busy periods but you don't mind when its this good, the place is like a treasure trove of interest adorning its walls, historic building and outstanding quality of food. Fully recomend to families. 0

Absolutely fantastic dinner. Small menu is always to be preferred for high quality cooking with fresh ingredients and consistency by a chef specialising in just a few dishes. Together with professional and very friendly service, ‘out of this world’ decoration, great house wines, and fair price setting make this a true gem of a restaurant. We just walked in and were lucky to get a table, but a small place, so probably better to make reservations to be certain. Highly recommended.

We went to this restaurant on a Satudaery afternoon to try its well-renowned afternnoon tea. The restaurant was small but cozy, with a lot of antiques displayed around different corners. I would like the restaurant to be a bit more spacious as sometimes I feel like I don't have my own eprsonal space in the restaurant and cannot truly relax. One thing to note that it does not have a lot of windows inside the restaurant so there aren't any good views to enjoy. The food was satisfactory, the scones could be more moist in the inside and I think that the desserts could offer a bit more finesse.

We stopped by on a Saturday morning without a reservation. Staff were INCREDIBLY friendly managed to give us a lovely table. The atmosphere is fantastic, you feel like you've stepped back in time! The breakfast itself was OK (quite expensive, but in line with prices of other establishments in Ghent). The croissant was not fresh, the cold cut meats were of mediocre quality but the egg and soldiers were great!
