Before
coming
to
Ghent
my
friend
and
I
made
a
huge
list
of
restaurant
to
visit,
Sordo
was
not
on
the
list,
we
happened
to
stumble
upon
it
and
the
cosy
atmosphere,
cheery
customers
and
promise
of
soup
lured
us
in!
And
we
were
so,
so
happy
to
find
this
place.
As
many
other
reviewers
pointed
out,
the
owner
is
deaf
and
this
is
made
apparent
upon
entry
as
he
takes
great
pride,
the
walls
are
covered
with
sign
language
phrases
that
can
be
used
in
the
restaurant
which
made
it
super
accessible!
He
also
had
a
great
system
for
explaining
the
soups
:)
What
I
really
appreciate
is
that
the
soups
are
bound
to
change,
the
menu
is
never
static,
changing
with
the
seasons,
which
is
super
sustainable
and
fun!
Who
knows
what
soup
is
around
the
corner?
The
price
is
also
extremely
affordable,
€5
for
a
big
bowl
of
soup,
we
were
stuffed,
especially
alongside
the
€0.50
slice
of
thick,
wholewheat
bread!
A
lot
of
people
are
talking
about
the
quiche,
and
whilst
we
didn’t
try
it,
the
table
behind
us
did
and
the
smell
alone
makes
me
want
to
agree
with
all
the
positive
reviews.
I’d
go
back
just
to
try
that
quiche.
I’d
go
back
regardless!
I
felt
super
cosy
in
that
little
shop
with
a
hearty
bowl
of
soup.
And
it’s
also
a
great
option
for
vegans!!
