Very delicious and large pizzas! In my opinion, single pizza is more than enough for one person. We tried Classic Bianca Pizzafiore, Rocket & Ham With a Twist (my favorite) and Tomato Salad. Edges were really crusty outside but fluffy inside. I think they use cold fermentation for their dough which makes a huge difference. Ingredients were really fresh and tasty. Tomato sauce in the pizza with ham had a nice balance between sugar and salt. I would like to learn where they buy their ham and rocket! But tomato salad was really below my expectations. Tomatoes were really soft and tasted little funny. Also, prices of certain pizzas were higher than the average but I would say a little overpriced rather than expensive.

It’s a cool place to eat something for lunch in gent and avoiding at the same time the tourist trap there are in the center, dont expect to eat the real Italian pizza but on the other side is more like a pizza doe with really curious and interesting seasonal ingredients, so really nice to try and the place is also quite nice and calm! Never ever have we eaten such delicious original toppings and combinations of tastes on a pizza as we enjoyed today at Otomat Ghent! My 'Portobello' pizza (much portobellos, kale/boerenkool, smoked cheese and sour creme) did not taste any less good as my wife's 'Little red Courgette' (very thin sliced courgette, red pepper, sour creme and buffel mozzarella), all on a perfect bottom. Our friends took a not any less tasteful 'vol au vent' pizza, thus with chicken, meat balls, mushrooms, cream and lemon. I am sure that even true Italians will enjoy the new dimension that this restaurant gave to the concept of pizzas.

This place is brilliant. Pizza and beer. The food was spectacular. The dough is superb with a menu of toppings. This pizza is made with love and care and you can taste it. Vegan pizza's are delicious too! Some of the best pizza's we have ever had. The homemade ice tea was delightful too. We ate whilst looking at the river. Staff were super friendly. Eat here, you won't regret it!

We came during lunch hours, restaurant was busy, so we waited some time for a free table. We ordered lunch menu. Pizza was tasty, but half of it was not properly baked, raw dough. We were not served salad at all despite the reminder to the waiters (it was included in the lunch menu and paid)and also nobody brought us a a cutlery.

We found this on Google maps and was it worth it! The building itself is multiple levels, there was a decent amount of seating and some interesting pizza options available. We got the madras pizza, margarita and the bushwick. The best being the madras as it was not spicy but packed with flavour. The prices were reasonable for the size of the pizza and you could do a 3 smaller pizza sharer if you wanted to try a few between you and a friend. Would definitely go back.

Good food. We tried the Marinara & dip for the starters. The starter was good especially the dip. For the main course pizzas, they have options for vegan, veggie, chicken and meat. For the main course we ordered the Madras Pizza. The taste was good with enough sauces and spices. For drinks we tried the Otomat Classic ice tea and Floral Ginger & Orange lemonade. I Liked the Lemonade more than the ice tea.

Excellent lunch spot right on the river in old town, kitchen doesn’t seem to shut down midday so you can get a delicious pizza any time. Pizzas themselves are not generic but a bit different (which personally I see as a big plus), the dough itself is simply fabulous - baked thin and crispy, not bready at all. Pretty good selection of Belgian and some foreign beers to go along with pizza. Prices are very reasonable for Belgium restaurants, around €15 per pizza, €3-4 for beer. Portion size is perfectly adequate and a pizza will get you full. Service was very friendly and prompt. Would definitely visit again, thanks for a nice lunch!
