No one asked us for more to drink. Sat without halvf meal until we decided to ask for the bill. Food was exceptionally plain. Burger that fell apart because it was so much chopped onion in it. The under side of the bread was impossible to cut through with the knife (pain rich sour Doug brad) all the burger dressing was in the bread.

Few (only one real) vegetarian dishes and a bit loud. Good original food

Excellent food quality. I've tried 3 different salads, and all of them were delicious. Portions aren't too big, but enough, and the price on the high side - but you do get excellent quality for it! The crispy chicken of the crispy chicken salad was delicious, but the other ingredients a bit simple. The Thai beef salad is unique; the Thai acidity with coriander, and a mix of interesting tastes. The tuna salad had gorgeous tataki style tuna, which makes this salad like the king of tuna salads I've had the chance to try.

Without a reservation you won't get a table. It's too popular for a spontaneous drop in. Food was delicious and the service fabulous, you could notice they had fun. The menu is small but better small and great quality and taste than lots of choice and... I can safely recommend it.

Amazing food, staff and interior. We loved the way the burrata was served. The two special cocktails were both so good. And the sole fish was cooked so nicely with the high quality buttery taste. Though we were a bit sad we couldn’t finish the fries. Really nice big portions made with care. We’ll be back to try the rest!

This place has been on my list for quite a long time. I finally got the opportunity to eat lunch here and I must say it was an amazing experience. The interior is cozy. There aren’t that many tables, but even when the place is full it doesn’t feel crowded. We were seated by the kitchen and the bar. We had a clear view of the kitchen and it was clear that the staff worked very efficiently (which is always nice to see!). The food itself was so tasty. They have quite a small menu, but that guarantees that you don’t have to wait long on your food. We ordered the fish, a pasta and the rib-eye. I don’t have any negative points about this place. Janine’s is one of the restaurants you just have to have lunch when you’re in Ghent! (I recommend making a reservation!)

Amazing food for a decent price. Lots of basil and homemade green pesto, just the way I like it! Definitely worth a visit for locals.

A great spot in Gent, book ahead because it gets full! Love the sharing plates but you can also get a wide array of mains and classics. Fun cocktails (best espresso martini in the city hands down) & simple but delicious desserts as well.

Great food, with a lovely combination of refreshing tastes. A sleek interior, but still a comfy feel. Friendly and fast service. Try te make a reservation though, it’s quite busy!

Nice restaurant however we came early at 7 pm and one of the 4 main dishes was apparently already gone. Then we wanted to order a simple standard desert and that was also already gone. We don’t believe that they were out of this desert because they just wanted to have a free table because it was busy. Also you better hold on to your drink. They will take it before you finished it.
