Very nice place in the heart of Ghent! We enjoyed the delicious pho in the cold weather. The staff is friendly, they have English menu, good portion of food and vegan options! Worth visiting 😊

I visited without a reservation on a busy Saturday evening. There were still some empty tables so the staff were happy to accommodate me. The staff working there were friendly and spoke perfect English. I asked and was told there were unfortunately no spicy vegetarian/vegan dishes on the menu. They do offer sriracha on some tables though which I used. Although the menu clearly states what dishes are vegetarian, the staff were quite confused about what could be made vegan (as it does not indicate what is vegan on the menu) so I stuck with a simple order so as not to be accidentally served any animal products. I ordered the Goi Chay appetiser which was a fresh, cold Vietnamese vermicelli noodle salad with some tofu strips and raw vegetables. For my main course I ordered the Pho Chay which is a rice noodle broth soup with tofu and asked for it vegan. Both were very light and fresh but unfortunately lacked a lot of flavour. It was dog-friendly which is a big bonus! I would recommend a visit if you're in the city centre and fancy an affordable Vietnamese meal, but I probably wouldn't recommend for vegans or anyone looking for big flavour.

The food was good and the staff was friendly, the place itself looked very clean. Main dish was filling and well prepared. Also had some starters which were tasty and a dessert which was very sweet (but that's okay, I like my desserts sweet anyway).

The food is delicious and authentic. The chef is from Viet Nam. The tase of the Pho Saigon was delicious. The portion was okay. If you want more spices then you have to pay for it. The staff is friendly and you feel welcome. The setting in the restaurant is disappointing. The lights are bright and the ambiance is just not there. (For this reason we’ll deduct 1 star) if the ambiance is not an issue for you then this is a great place to be. We would definitely go back to enjoy the Pho Saigon and Saigon beer

rather disappointing, super bland pho, the vegetables in this one were carrot, cabbage, green onion, coriander and chili. No asian feeling whatsoever, and the alcohol free beer was tiny with only 25cl

A great place to try Pho Noodles in Gent. We went for lunch and all the tables were almost full. We ordered mostly vegetarian dishes and it was delicious. There is a small space in the restaurant if you want to buy cute gifts.

The food is good. The staff is very helpful and kind and works efficiently. Not a lot of space, but enough to keep it cozy. I recommend.

Pho itself is delicious, the dumplings smelled fishy after the first bite and didn't eat them, told the waiter and the reply from the kitchen was we bought them on monday. Still got charged for it. But hey. The saigon noodles were good

Always fun! I’m a regular from the last few years. Loved all the dishes we have tried - the pho and spring rolls are always good, along with the other a la carte menus. Lovely service and super flexible staff - I’ve once even just dropped by for their iced desserts! PS The Vietnamese coffee is fun, too! I think that it’s the only Vietnamese restaurant in town - so for the variety alone, it’s a very welcome addition!

We were here a couple of months ago, and were keen to return. Unfortunately the meals this time were bland. Not spice or real flavour. Additional salt or something with a kick would have been welcome. Otherwise the portion size and variety of vegetables was good.

I ordered pho saigon and my husband ordered pho bo nam. The difference is pho saigon has toppings of meatballs, raw beef sliced and cooked beef sliced meanwhile pho bo nam has only cooked beef sliced on top. My fav topping is the meatballs. They are soft and delicious, such a good combination with the broth. What special from pho soup is the broth, I always longing for its simple and humble taste yet flavorful. But sadly, the broth is not what I'm expected. It was delicious soup but something was not reaching my expectations. Its just my preference. I believe and saw other people enjoyed their meals there. we ordered also mix dim sum consist of 2 ha cao and 2 xiu may. I prefer the xiu may, just because I'm used to ha cao with super thin, glassy skin texture and crunchy fresh shrimp inside but thats not what I found from the ha cao here. The xiu may was okay. I ordered also the cold chinese buble tea with brown sugar, and it didn't have the taste such in the commonly bubble tea shop. It came with warm bubble tea with small amount of ice on top. I think other drink options has a better taste. Maybe later in another chance, will probably try it. The service was not so fast, because we have to wait long time to order our menu and our food. We expected to have our appetizer (dim sum) to come a bit earlier but they ended come together with the main menu. Overall it was just good, not bad at all and they serve us slow but nicely. I wish my input will help to improve the quality of the restaurant in the future ☺️

Average Pho but reasonable price-quality in a spacious restaurant I've traveled all over Asia, so I'm quite familiar with the taste of local Asian cuisine. I ordered Pho Saigon but the broth tasted quite blend. I presume they tone it down a bit to suit western taste buds. So you'll need to add the condiments on the table to give the broth some more flavor and spice it up a bit. I also ordered an iced coffee, presuming it would be served fresh on the table, but this was frankly a disappointment. Better Vietnamese restaurants will bring you a drip filter coffee on the table, served with sugared condensed milk, but here the iced coffee came already prepared from the kitchen. Not sure, but it tasted like canned iced coffee with some ice cubes added. The interior is however quite spacious and relaxing and the service was friendly and swift.

Nice Pho soups, reasonably priced. Be careful if you’re allergic - I had to send a dish back that contained my actual allergen… but they exchanged it quickly with a delicious soup!
