that's not sushi it's plain rice with hints of some flavors. what a disappointment. Nice decor, nice atmosphere and good service but the food disappointment was the most incredible . I never thought the reviews were so right. P.S: It took a long time to bring the food.

We loved the food and loved the service. We came in close to closing time and they still let us order up big. Food was very fresh and delicious. So good.

Ordered some sushi dishes at thisnplace for the first time and I definitely loved it. The portion was just great ans the tastes were wonderful (also unique and presentation qas great even as takeaway comparing to other places which I know). I can only say about the food which I ordered as I didn't dine at the place. But I definitely love to do it. The price are very great for what you get and I definitely recommend this place (shoutout to the delivery guy who went beyond too).

It looked like a good place, not so big or so busy. However then we had to wait for an hour for our food until they told us it would be 5 more minutes. It was obvious they had forgotten us. We complained about it that we had almost left and hoped we would get some kind of discount. Our waitress immediately defended herself and said it was busy. When I told that people who arrived later were already eating and some already finished eating 50 sushi, she was quiet. The food finally arrived, but they had forgotten something already and didn't seem to remember the order. After we had finished and wanted to ask the bill she came to us and rudely told us not to look at then like that (she accused us of looking angrily at then the entire time which wasn't true, albeit ofcourse we were not happy about the long wait and lack of any apology). She started to argue. She insisted it was not their fault but ours. In the end she did offer a personal discount while still saying it was not their mistake for forgetting us. Looking back at the reviews I can agree that the staff is not professional and quality of service is lacking. The food is ok but I have had better quality at other places with staff that was also professional, even places where it was 10 times more busy on a new years eve instead of a November evening... Best to avoid this place if you want to have a good evening!

One of the best sushi places in Gent. Right in the center near bars and other restaurants. The selection is good and even the classic boat if you really cannot chose is tasty. Two floor inside and a terrace on a pedestrian street. Also open for lunch.

Nice and pleasing place, tasty food (edame and sushi boat), friendly service. I really liked the food. Don't know is the rest of the offering is as good but there is a good variety to choose from.

I've eaten a lot of sushi in my life, In the USA, Mexico and Japan my spectrum for comparison is wide. Gent is my hometown and I always go or order form Uzume Big rolls fresh rolls for the same price as the rest. It never disapoints.

We came here with a very affordable deal for a sushi boat for 2 people. Both the sushi and the staff were very enjoyable. There was not much choice for dessert, bet there is enough choice in sushi.

If you looking for the good sushi place you gotta go there. The food are really delicious and staff are really friendly.💯💯💯
