My visit to Graffiti Street in Gent was a visually stimulating experience that added a unique flair to my exploration of the city. This street art haven is a testament to the creative spirit thriving in Gent, and it's a must-see for tourists seeking an alternative and edgy side of the city. The vibrant and ever-evolving graffiti murals lining the walls of Graffiti Street showcase a diverse array of artistic styles, from abstract designs to thought-provoking political statements. Exploring the alley felt like wandering through an open-air gallery, with each mural telling a story and contributing to the dynamic atmosphere of the area. The authenticity of Graffiti Street lies in its impermanence; artworks change over time, providing a fresh canvas for new talent and perspectives. This constant evolution adds an exciting element to the experience, making each visit a unique and unpredictable adventure. While the street is relatively small, the energy it exudes is palpable. However, I would advise visitors to exercise caution with their belongings, as the popularity of the area attracts crowds. Additionally, it would be beneficial to have more information available about the artists and the significance behind some of the murals to enhance the overall appreciation of the art. In summary, Graffiti Street is a dynamic and engaging destination that offers a different lens through which to view Gent's artistic scene. For those with an appreciation for street art, this colorful alley is a delightful addition to any tourist itinerary.

It's a little alley full of graffiti. Not sure if they are all legal walls but clearly there's an effort to keep graffiti there and give folks a space to paint. Not everything is beautiful but that's up to interpretation. Kinda smells but hey it's an alley

What a beautiful street. Filled with graffiti, and they keep drawing over another. It is a long, narrow street where you can walk and admire the beautiful work of different artists. They have plenty of interesting graffiti as well. This place gets really busy, so it is difficult to take photos without people in it. But we managed. It's definitely recommended if you are an art lover.

It's a really nice street of graffiti but it's very short and most of them are signatures which is not my preference. Since it's a ever changing street, it's a must visit..who knows you stumble upon some good artworks. During my walk, I did found few good ones.

Great use of a space that could other wise, turn into a dark and dingy corridor. Love the array of colors, styles and subjects that are shown.

Very colorful, enjoyable and with a guide rather informative. Had a great time and quite different from the medieval rest of the historic downtown.

Cute little alleyway with graffiti murals. Takes just a few minutes to walk through and super close to everything central. Some are beautiful, some are a waste of paint. We got lucky and saw an artist repairing his mural. He was very friendly and happily chatted with us!

This was a surprise spot that’s e ran into on the way to our chocolate workshop. The art through is incredible. You could probably spend hours going through all of the different styles and stories. According to my daughter, it’s also a great place to take pictures for Instagram.

A small alley in Ghent which has load of graffiti on the walls. There are a lot of pictures to take. Make sure to go on a weekday as it can get busy. If you love graffiti then this place is for you.

Of course this is not for hours of walking, the street is pretty short. But still, interesting enough to walk through. I was surprised how thick the layer of paint at some places was. A lot of artists spent a lot of time here.

Street full of graffiti, but there isn't any art in the drawing, so not that interesting, in case you have time to spare, you can pass by rapidly. That's it.

It is a place, that if you are nearby just go an have a look, I would not set this place in my agenda..... there some good graffiti that they tried to shows different perspective and some that are just like signatures. Maybe if they were more organised this place could be amazing.

An interesting 5 min visit if you're in the area. Shame that a lot of the graffiti consists of tags/names, and sometimes over the top of interesting art.

Really cool to have a photoshoot in this place! This is a very smart move to have an area where graffiti artist can get to express and exhibit their artworks. Really amazing and you can really see that each element of the artworks have their meanings. Make sure to visit!

Nice alley with artistic graffiti. Not sure the history of thought behind this concept here and a bit out of place in a historic city but nice to walk through. Good atmosphere.
