Nice. I think it is safe to say, that almost every plant is labeled. There are sections by type of plants and also sections by regions. It is relaxing place.

The botanical gardens and greenhouses themselves are FREE to walk around in !! So many gorgeous flowers and various plants you can't find anywhere else! Must see! I want to come back in the spring time. So many benches to sit around and enjoy. So peaceful

The botanical garden has different zones and an incredible number of different plants. There is a lot to be found here, especially for photographers. The plants are also labeled, but unfortunately there is no more information. I think a QR code for more information would be great. The visit is absolutely worth it.

We stumbled upon here by accident and had a lovely walk around in what was essentially a private garden!! We were here on a Sunday morning and no one else was around, it was really peaceful and the perfect place for a walk!! I’d say it’d be even nicer in summer when all the flowers are in bloom

A nice botanical garden with a good selection of plants, nice lakes and water features. However the garden isnt looked after as well as it could be. Many of the plants were dead and dying due to lack of watering during my last visit. However the garden is a beautiful place with splendid views and plants.

A piece of paradise in Ghent. On Thursday we had the privilege of receiving some explanation from a very sweet lady who has been working there for more than 20 years, and it only made it even more wonderful for me and my partner!

(Translated by Google) Today I just walked through the botanical garden because that was long ago anyway. I imagine it must be a huge job to maintain all those plants. I am not surprised that I came across a lot of nameplates without plants, and some overgrown places. But some collections are really great, such as the rock gardens, the carnivorous plant basin, the greenhouse and the tropical greenhouse.

I never get bored visiting this huge campus of many ecosystems. Most plants are labeled in Dutch and Latin and there's something for everyone. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful.

I liked the variety of plants and trees and the sheer size of it all amazed me. The interactivity level could be scaled up; I didn't really feel that I learned a lot. Definitely worth a visit if you want to have a look at plants from all sorts of climates. Or if you want to enjoy nature and some quiet spots in the city.

There are infinite number of species inside some of which are endangered. You can visit this museum for free at Museum Night 1st December after 18h every year. Definitely worth seeing if you are interested in plants

Nice, but not worth the visit if you are in Gent for less than a few weeks. The workers seem to be struggling to keep the plants alive (perhaps due to heat) and the buildings are more like a research facility than what one would expect from a city botanical garden.

(Translated by Google) I mainly went for the tropical plants and hoped to see a little more or fewer open spaces between the plants. I also think it is a shame that many plants are still in plastic pots (especially the sansevierias). I think it's great that there is a Giant Arum and that it bloomed in 2015. I hope to see this with my own eyes in the future.
