The option to walk into the neighbouring wilderness of the National Reserve and the easy 10m regular bus route into the beautiful city centre made for a wonderful visit of Gent. The rooms were extremely clean and minimalist with wonderful insulation to block out any noise. The private patio was also wonderful touch with the birds chirping away. For those worried about the open bathroom layout... You need not worry as a clever sliding door provides the privacy in an instance. Thank you to the owners of B&B Marcel de Grand, you were wonderful and we will be coming back again! :)
