We really enjoyed dinner at Alberte. The tasting Menu is well worth it. And the wine pairing was a great match. The service is friendly and the ambiance is amazing. Grab a table in the backyard if available. Might be smart to book a table.

This place looks like a classic “Brasserie” but once you get all the information about the menu, things get interesting. The staff, chef and everybody there will take you on a well balanced culinary trip! Must do, enjoyed every minute. Will come back here.

Alberte has long been a go-to place for the ladies and gentlemen in Gent and far beyond. Every dish is a thing of beauty, though simple-sounding in origin. I deem it impossible for anyone to dislike anything put before them at Alberte. I could go on for hours trying to give adequate descriptions of their kitchen-skills, but then I'd lose track of the incredible wine-selection they offer. I only have one thing to say: come here at your earliest convenience.

Diliciously artistic. The food was expertly prepared. But not just that, the flavor combinations were frivolous, and not just for the sake of it, but they actually worked and make you want to try out more.

Fair creative 'simple' food. Two chefs are doing almost everthing and 'à la minute' (they even do the dishes). Casual atmosphere and pure creations, well-thought-out. They only select biological and natural wines and beers. Sitting at the bar, the open kitchen is very unique as we saw every action the cooks performed. Alberte, I love you.

Because I eat plantbased, I had a different menu than the others. My favourite was the wheat risotto, the clementines really made it lovely. All other dishes were just less good. The pumpkin broth was really salty and other dishes also on the salty side. The dessert to compensate was very sweet.

Service was excellent. Great natural wine. Great food, but a little bit expensive. 32€ for it's cheapest bottle and 50€ p.p. for a 6 course menu. If you can afford it, just do it. Amazing!

Has always been a phenomenal place but has reached new highs with new chef. Unbelievable that such a small kitchen can create this quality. Great chef in the making. Mark my words. Everyone was very friendly and made us feel most welcome. Definitely recommendable!
