My wife and I found this place just by chance - we were hungry and it was getting late. As it was a public holiday we were pleased to find something open. We ordered a dall and roti and a fish molly with extra rice and roti. It was fantastic. Like the best home cooking by the best home cook! The dall was so lovely and tasty there was plenty of it. The fish molly was super tasty in a creamy tomato-based curry sauce. The fish was salmon and again there was plenty of it. We had the best curry meal I can remember having for ages. The cost was extremely good - it was the same price for a whole meal for two people as is charged for just one dish in some tourist restaurants. The couple who run the Crispy Crunch diner were so friendly and welcoming - we were happy that they had time to chat with us as we ate - and their children who passed briefly through on their way out were also friendly and charming. We found out later that the couple had kept the diner open for about an extra hour to accommodate us as we arrived late. If we lived in Ghent we would be regular visitors - and we certainly hope to return. We highly recommend this place and wish the owners every success! Thankyou for a most enjoyable visit.

FRESH FOOD!!! Sometimes it takes them a while but it is fresh... The soup is always good. The sandwiches are good, certainly for the price!!! The indian food is very nice and authentic. You can also sit outside and its very cozy. And you always feel like home!! I hope they will never go away because they have almost everything you want and is located very well. Love the people and the food!

I have been to several Desi (Indian/Pakistani) restaurants in Ghent. This is by far the best restaurant due to several reasons: hospitality ( run by a family), location (near the station with outside option), freshness ( they cook fresh), authenticity ( the cook is from Kerala and has professional training), taste ( the cook pay attention to details eg Desi ghee on roti and mint on lassi) , price ( we paid far less for two three -course meals i.e. thaal than any other place in Ghent). The city is asking them to increase prices so go before that happens. I secretly wish no-one should know about this but conscience! Aargh.

Ambience ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Food ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our visit to this place was quite a coincidence but well worth. TCC is run by a family that serves predominantly Kerala cuisine and the chef is a trained professional which was augmented in the taste of the food as well. I had fish Molly for the first time in Europe. Would love to visit this place if I happen to be in Ghent.

So good. You can tell it is authentic. They were also really nice and used sunflower oil instead of gee for my Biriani cuz I'm vegan.

Amazing food. They tailored Indian dishes to meet the European crowd very well with out tampering the original taste, believe me I say this as a South Indian XD. The atmosphere is calm and the people are friendly and nice.

The best Indian food in Belgium! A big surprise from a sandwich shop, but authentic, slow cooked ( it takes a little time) Indian food. We tried chicken korma, lamb biryani and lentil korma and all were excellent. Wins the award for best hidden gem in Ghent.

Dine-in facility is really good. The owners are friendly, the food is freshly prepared and the spicy-ness is adjustable based on customer preference. It's a 'Go To' place for me in Ghent. 'nalla taste ind'.......iykyk!

A truly delicious, freshly prepared traditional southern Indian meal. The best most crispy samosas I have ever had. Crispy my name and crispy by nature!

I ordered veg thali, dhal didn’t resemble authentic dhal taste at all, was very mellow. Fried vegetables and salad super small portions, especially considering price of 22€. It was edible but there are much better places with more genuine tastes and generous portions.

I had a vegetarian meal(thali) - dal+fried veggies+curd+ salad served with rice. Dal ( lentil curry ) was made with kidney bean and black urad dal I think . It was very tasty and spicy( upon request ). Very friendly people and had a satisfying meal. :)

Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant right by the station. The service by Joseph and Clara is unmatched. They truly care about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in other mouths. A big plus is that there are no long waits for the meal to be served. We got more food than we could finish. Absolutely the best meal we had while in Ghent. Highly recommend!

I had seen this place a few times but with a name like Crispy Crunch I never expected to find very tasty Indian food there. They also serve sandwiches (broodjes) but I've only ever had their Indian offering. A previous reviewer mentioned that their dall and their fish molly were fantastic and I completely agree. The owners are also very friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Delicious food and great people. It looks like a cafetaria but it tastes like a star-restaurant with fresh ingredients at a good prive. Very nice discovery.

👍👍 « Luxury fries 🍟 » and well it is quite expensive. But I’d say it is worth it at least once. It is the price for exceptional fries 😉. The fries were absolutely delicious, and well cooked. They ask you to choose 2 homemade sauces. I took the béarnaise and 🤤. The chicken chunks were natural and tas...
