Very poor customer service. The staff was not service minded and did not even have a smile on their face. The food was nothing special, had to add lots of salt and pepper for it to taste anything.

What happened to this place, i went here a couple of year ago and it was one of the best restaurants in Gent. It actually went from the best too the worst. I guess the restaurant has a new owner. Food 0, Service 0,... and what is wrong whit the waiters ? It seems like they are all young dudes coming straight out of jail en working in this restaurant is a part of a reeducation program.

In one word: terrible. Service was unfriendly and unhelpful. Having to ask for the simplest thing (a menu) multiple times before they actually bring you one. The food: we had ordered the Rib Eye Steak and Oysters. The rib eye (asked for medium) came raw and still cold. Oysters were cooked but cold, rubber-y and definitely frozen. Even the fries that came along tasted like they were sitting there for a few hours and just got microwaved. I would leave 0 stars if I could

Very touristy, but we had no other option since all good places in Gent apparently will close at 18.00? Fat croquettes, decent pasta & a stew that could have been screwed better? Very average overall, but at a steep price. Waiters so busy that they could not remember me 10 minutes after we left when I needed the toilet. Effective, but completely unpersonal. Won't go again.

Quick service and the food had great flavor. Staff was friendly and observant. Enjoyed my dishes immensely.

It’s ok... pizza is eatable but not amazing. If you te hungry it’s fine. High price for what you get. I gave 3* because of the dessert. I must say best tiramisu I ate in my life! Delicious!!! There is an outside area and you can smoke. Vegetarian options! They have pasta as well.

Don’t waste your money here. Ordered pasta with shrimps, ther was no sauce, no taste. The carbonara pasta was bland and the pizza was very thin and not tasty at all. They first forgot the garlic bread, when it arrived we got old bread that was reheated in the microwave with the garlic butter on top. The service was bad. Overall a bad en experience.

If i could choose between paying for a speeding ticket or for this food, I would've chosen for the speeding ticket, because at least you would have had a good time for it.. food is really terrible and even the fries tasted like it came out of the microwave or something. biggest waste of money ever.

Food is okay, service isn't great. Took several minutes for them to come and get our order Requested a spoon, we had to go get it ourselves. Staff found that amusing... We had the tiramisu and it wasn't good. Wished I read reviews before going to that place

Friendly attentive staff, food quality was above our parties expectations (was very tasty), atmosphere nice & prices were reasonable. Would recommend when in Ghent.

Very nice place for an outside dinner. Prices are moderate but the Entrecôte was WORTHY!!! Lasagna was good too. They have nice heating lamps outside which make eating al fresco an option in the spring evening, also not crowded as other street diners. The service was also great, fast, smiley, and great at suggesting.

The waiters were just chatting loudly and watching videos on the phone of their friend at the table next to us while we were waiting order more drinks and food and didn’t pay any attention. I ordered the caramelized ribs and so did my wife but it was just some honey drizzled over it. I also asked for sauce but they told me, when I finally got their attention after a few minutes, that apparently don’t have any. At that time my ribs were now both dry and cold. Very disappointing. The staff didn’t seem to care at all, except at chatting with their friends and being loud and obnoxious. I wish I could give less stars than 1.

My husband and I have traveled all over Belgium, this is the worst place we’ve ever eaten. The waitstaff is horribly rude and inadequate. They got both of our orders wrong and while they did acknowledge it was their fault they also refused to correct it and made us feel bad for even asking. The fries were also the worst we’ve had in Belgium. Very bland food.

Service was bad 😔 3 out of 6 dishes were never served, so we cancelled them. That's a pity, cause the place is nice 🙂

The restaurant looked pretty nice so we decided to give it a shot. It was very busy in Gent and this was one of the last places to eat (later we understood why). We ordered for starters the fried shrimps and shrimp and cheese croquettes, as it looked very nice on the menu. We received a few shrimps with a plastic cup of mayonaise. For 14€ we received 1 cheesecroquette and 1 shrimpcroquette, it was pretty discusting. We wanted to leave and had to pay 34€ in total for a few bites. The staff was very rude to me when me and my boyfriend asked if we could pay. They ignored me, didn't ask why we didn't eat it and why we left. I would definitely not recommend eating here! Would rather go to the MacDonald next time :/

Waiters unfriendly, food disgusting. I ordered a steak tartaar usually served with fries. In this restaurant it is apparently served with… bread… ok. My friend ordered a pizza, his order came 15 minutes after mine. At that point my plate was practically empty. Since when do we serve one person after the other? This is the basics of catering, serve everyone at the same time. At that point we watched each other eat. When the pizza finally came , it was the wrong order. He then corrected the order without apologising. When my friend went too the bathroom he overheard one of the waiters insulting us saying we where *ucking annoying…. Never have i seen such a unprofessional service. Please do yourself a favour and never go there.

This place had horrible service. We waited for 30 minutes to order even though we asked twice and then our food took more than an hour to arrive, while other tables that arrived later than us were eating already. The main courses would arrive cold and incomplete, some of them were tasteful but others were unacceptable for more than 20 €. Defined do not recommend!!!

My Pizza love is forever and trying pizza here is just amazing experience. This is going to be our pizza place in ghent always. Service ,food everything is upto the mark. PS- Pizza dough texture was perfect. Crispy and perfectly baked

Lovely food and waiter, Yasine look very well after us with very good english Not enough french fries with mossels and not enough "greens" with shrimp croquettes. Wine and view was nice

My husband and came to enjoy a nice day in beautiful Gent. After a long day of walking around we decided to stop at this restaurant, which menu looked good (options and prices). We ordered caramelized bbq ribs, when our plates came those where the driest, flavorless, worst ribs ever. The “caramelized” part was just literally honey drizzled on top of it, not a lot of meat in there and just dry. The cherry on top was a loud customer sitting next to us and the waiters talking to him in the same high volume and bothering the rest of the customers. Never going back.

Oh, you will never ever find better food than this !!! I was in like 40 countries all around the world and the seafood here is my favourite, It is the most amazing seafood soup I have ever eaten ! And the ribeye steake .... Wow !!! 5*

Pizza was well worth the price. Crispy edge, soft to the middle. Very tasty. Quick attentive service. No hassle or hussle.

Food was good, a bit expensive but the lasting memory is the rudeness of the male waiters, impatient and lacking any customer service skills. The female waitress was good though.

Very bad experience, I recommend NOT coming here. The lasagna was served cold, and we got so little. How can a lasagna be ready in 5 minutes? Also the service was horrendous, they wanted us to leave asap, and they acted childlike. And they even gave us the wrong receipt, one of an other table, just terrible!

Prime location in the centre of Gent. Helpful staff and quick service. The moules were excellent and the kids loved the pizza. Is a bit expensive but expected for the location.

To be honest, could be one of the best if not the best seafood pasta’s i’ve had in Ghent. Definitely would recommend the cocktails too especially the Hugo (word on the street is that you cant get a hangover from that cocktail, so drink up)

My experience was distinctly average. I ordered a pizza which was a little lacking in flavour. I found the service fast and effective.

Horrible service!!!!!!! They refused to attend my boyfriend (Indian). I later asked myself (European), and they gave me a table immediately. When he joined me and inquired why they had ignored him, they told him he should have said he was with me! This is obviously not okay, and when we told them so they aggressively took the menus from the table and kicked us out!!!! I can’t believe we encountered such a racist and unprofessional behavior. Please reconsider before visiting a place like this.

The food was actually quite good. We had the 2 person t-bone steak. The service was not so great, slow and a little rusty. Communication was like the local soccer clubhouse

Really poor service and the food was even poorer. Fries were hard and undercooked, they apologised and said we should have mentioned it and they would have put them back in the fryer, how about not serve them up like that in the first place. Latte mattichetto was at best flat white more like a packet coffee with no foam in sight. Lastly totally over priced in all aspects. Avoid!

I loved the côte à l'os together with a good combination of Belgian Beers. I like the interior, it's both cozy and not too close to other restaurant visitors. The service is great, but they could be acting a bit more professionally. At some point one waitress was giving the other waitress a neck massage in the restaurant...

Spaghetti was good, but steaks - nothing really special. Will not recommend to order here steaks

I would give no stars if I could. Service was so bad that it made me leave even before sitting on the table. The manager should learn how to deal with customers. Do not waste your time going inside this place.

Lunch menu is definitely worth the price. other things might be a bit overpriced, but that is to be expected in the middle of the city. Good quality food!

Very nice food, non alcoholic cocktails were one of the best I ever tasted, definitely recommend this place
