LOVED IT. Such a delightful place in Ghent! Such fast service, amazing prices, seriously delicious food. This place was extremely vegetarian friendly. The eggplant was perfectly cooked. The falafel was crispy and fresh and delicious. The salad was so fresh and flavorful. We were so happy with our meal! The house wine was also so cheap but delicious. Seriously 5/5 for the taste and cost. Only thing you have to be aware of is that it is cash only. This was such a gem.

We had 4 people and ordered 7 different small plates including the eggplant, yogurt dip, grape leaves, cauliflower, fattoush, and eggplant. Most dishes were good but the cauliflower was the highlight. Small drink selection and not great service but a good place for a quick lunch.

As a middle eastern myself, I am sad to see places like this serving bland food.. needs more seasoning and punchiness, for me it doesn’t represent real middle eastern food. And waited 1hour to get served.. very tiny portions: even when ordering 7 dishes for two it wasn’t enough. We ate all since it’s still food and it shouldn’t be wasted but was not impressed.

We’ve been here a lot and I have to say: best Lebanese/Syrian food in Ghent and one of the top 5 restaurant in Ghent. The food is just amazing and so fresh. Service is quick and friendly. We ordered almost everything vegetarian of the menu and only paid 50 euro. We ❤️ Fattoush.

Tasty Syrian meals. They don’t have a concept of “1st dish, 2nd dish, etc..”, you just order a lot of things at once, and have them altogether. Everything’s served with the flat bread. Around €5 per small plate. I liked the fact, that they clean the tables thoroughly 😉

Food is very tasty and cheap. Restaurant is very cozy, colourful and with good location.

We came here to eat last Valentine’s Day. Food is great but wish the portions were larger, probably cultural though. The restaurant is very nicely decorated and it has a warm romantic feel to it. They picked up my roses and put them in a bowl next to us, that was a great gesture.

five star food in the centre of ghent. reasonable prices and fair portions. the labneh salad- fattoush- ejjeh koussa and manqousheh are a must try. also: the people that work here are the kindest.

Google says open until 11:30, so I dropped in around 10 but I was told the kitchen was closed. Might want to post kitchen hours separately. Anyways, the restaurant was decorated beautifully and the setting very nice. I was able to get an order of hummus and they gave me a bunch of pita bread. At only €5, it was presented beautifully and it tasted awesome. They were very hospitable even though I sadly only spoke English and couldn’t communicate much with them. Overall, I look forward to returning and trying all their other food, as the people inside that were finishing looked like they had awesome meals. Definitely recommend this spot, their hummus was awesome!

Had a meal here last night. On holidays in Ghent. Loved the decor and atmosphere immediately. Gorgeous crockery. Menu was beautiful but you need a smartphone to scan and view. The place was really busy and there were 5 of us. We all picked three dishes as its all about sharing. Everybody loved it. Some of the dishes were so good we added more. There were only two waiters but they really were on top of it even though every table was full. Would highly recommend. Everything was so delicious I couldn't choose a favourite. We all loved it. My belgian friends who is very much into traditional food loved it so much he said he will definitely be returning. High praise indeed!!! A fabulous meal and a fabulous evening. Next time I come over from Ireland I will be back for more. We'll done guys. Super impressed.

I do not understand all the positive reviews. I give it 2 instead of 1 star because of the range of vegetarian options. Unfriendly and niet very welcoming, long waiting time and blend flavours. The falafel didn’t look home made, the tomato sauce was straight out of a can, overcooked vegetables,….Very disappointing experience!

Food was delicious, traditional Syrian food that was very tasty! The service was not so friendly... plates were dirty. At 3pm on a Sunday we were asked to leave because they were closing..

We have tried multiple dishes and have a hard time to decide what was the best. They were ALL VERY good, but don't forget to order the french beans and the falafel. Relaxed atmosphere and friendly service.

Awesome place to eat. The portions are small but worth it. You can try multiple dishes. Tip: Ask them which dishes will be served warm if u wanna eat warm food.

It was our third attempt and finally we got the table (we reserved 2weeks before). The food was delicious, I really recommend to try their falafel👌👌.

Lunch today was a Syrian place that was suggested by a Reddit thread. I think it’s the best falafel I’ve ever had. By making it ring or donut shaped, you don’t have to overcook it to get the center done. Brilliant. All falafel should be done this way and not overdone hockey pucks. The texture was dare I say, delicate. The moutabal was good as well as the other two dishes (I forget what they were called).

Delicious authentic Syrian food! Fattoush is my place to go when I wanna eat out in Ghent. Cosy atmosphere and friendly service.

A really awesome little restaurant. Everything we ate tested very very good. The stuff was really friendly and we had a very nice dinner. Very recommendable if you want to try something new and they offer a lot of vegetarian options. Will definitely come back :)
