    Had an appointment to pick up our car at 8am. Arrived and was told our car wouldn't be ready until 8:50-8:55am due to cleaning. Only alternative we were offered was an upgrade for €138 more per day, classic bait and switch.

    They call me a week in advance to ask me if I want an upgrade, and do not mention the important thing, which is that they moved the shop from Gent Sint Pieters area to this location since my booking. When I go to pick up the car, I see a note on the window saying "moved to new address", and it is 12:30 Saturday, they will close in half an hour. I try to call them but a direct number is not available, all call centers are closed on Saturday, and I miss my booking. Our vacation planning is completely messed up. When I report this, I get no compensation. Never used Sixt since.

    Amina's attention and services whas unmatched to my past experiences renting cars abroad (even with other companies), she whent above and beyond to solve a predicament tha could end up in cancelation

    We ordered a truck a week ago, today (the day we were going to get the truck) they called to tell us that they werent capable to rent us one due to some circumstances. No help to find a solution just a lame excuse. First and last time we Will work with them

    Super nice personnel and quick procedure. Car as expected. As usual, they try to sell you a lot of upgrades, but not too pushy and always friendly when you turn them down.

    Very friendly staff. Amina was very attentive to our needs without being overly pushy unlike our past experiences and also took the time to answer questions. You need a good understanding of the people you are of service to to be able to apply this skill. Everything went smoothly and the vacation was off to a good start.

    Open hours listed are 8:00-16:00. Arrived at 8:00 and waited till 8:15. Nobody showed up and nobody answered the phone listed on the entrance.

    Rented a car there for a week to drive around Belgium and France. Everything was good. The whole experience was positive. We weren't charged with anything extra (though we did pay ahead for extra coverage).

    After ordering online, day from pick-up; office closed? 📞 the general number at 0.30€ per minute.. we will transfer you to the office.. but its closed I'm at the front door?? Hanged up? Obliged to go to competitor seen the urgency.

    The worst company ever. We booked a van for Sunday, two times we called to customer service to make sure, on Sunday there will be someone to give us keys. - Yes, no problem, I make sure my colleague will be there - they said. No one was there. :) we waited one hour. On Monday we called a customer service and first sentence was “we will not charge you” ! :D Excuse me? We hired people for moving, lost a whole day and you don’t gonna charge us? Funny. The person on the phone promised to handover our case to another department in the company and till now no reply. They don’t pick up phone, don’t answer emails…(I contacted even a supevisor for Flanders). No satisfaction. I do NOT recommend this company since this is the second time we had an issue with them. It is maybe the cheapest one, but not worth it.

    Great Team at Sixt Gent. New Location fully operational and ready to impress with great service. We had a defective car on our way into vacation and Sixt helped to overcome the situation. International drop off in Germany also went well. Next time - Sixt !

    Although the branch is located just outside the city of Ghent and should be reached by bus from Sint-Pieters train station, it is surely worth it to rent a car at Sixt. Staff is competent and very friendly, car pick-up and drop-off is carefree and car pool looks to be recently updated.

    I have been a loyal customer of this branch, having spent a significant amount of money over time. My experiences were generally positive until a recent incident. Without prior notification, the company took money from my account. After reaching out to them many times they finally said that they charged for an additional rental day, a flexible return fee, and a €30 speeding ticket which I had already paid. Their justification was that I returned the vehicle late, affecting their ability to rent it out again. However, it was a Sunday and no reservations are done on a Sunday and like many times in the past there is an understanding if you return the vehicle later. I was 4 hours late but not only they charged the flexible return they also charged for an additional full day. While I appreciate the efforts of staff members like Amina who strive to provide good service, this experience reflects poorly on the company's overall reputation and integrity. It's disheartening to see such practices from a business I once trusted. I am never renting again.

    The cars: is new and clean and best price in Belgium . worker who works in Gent (Hossam) Good reception with a smile. Trying to help and explain everything. I have booked a car online And when I got there. There was the possibility of changing to a more suitable car.
