Absolutely the best ribs I've eaten in a long time. And we travel half the year. The potato - what's in it? Butter and.. turmeric? Garlic? Curry powder? The waiter will not disclose but without a shadow of doubt it was different and very very delicious. It's a great feed for the money. I like that the menu is limited. They're concentrating on doing what they do best. I asked for some bread when we arrived (I'd been sampling beers at the Upside Down World Bar opposite) and was told curtly that they don't do bread. Hmm. Ok. Now I see it would have been a waste of my appetite, so thanks for that. This is a very great find for a casual and fun dinner. Love it! PS would have posted pictures but was too busy demolishing a delicious dinner.

Amadeus is a staple of Gent for many years. As a student it's a must to have done at least once! The ribs are ok, but the garlic red butter is the absolute crown jewel of this place in my opinion! Make sure you go hungry!

For a place who sells 95% spareribs only, it was not that good tbh. It wasn't bad but had way better.

Very nice ambient and delicious food. We had ribs, chicken fillet with potatos and sauce. Goodness gracious, was it great!

Great food. The ribs are of excellent quality. I am not a meat person but now and then when going out with friends i don't mind to try, and the ribs here are definitely worth the try. And the oven baked potato is amazing as well.

We visited after being told Amadeus is a bit of an institution in Ghent, because of the bottomless ribs. Although we arrived shortly after opening, they were fully booked and we were sent up to their other venue, Little Amadeus. The food was pretty good, bit dryer than I'm used to in the UK but lovely all the same. The service was top notch and we were well looked after. I'd definitely recommend a visit but book in advance

Really delicious ribs and potato with their special sauce which is incredibly tasty. Great beer, especially the dark one (Westmal dubbel). But the place definitely needs some renovation and it is not very clean.

There are two restaurants in gent. I found the other one better. I got ribs twice and both times were very dried out. Fried too much, not good especially for the kids

Food was great, as usual. Quick service as well, but staff was not at its friendliest that day. Not rude, but not happy either. Very small establishment, better for a quick bite than for a relaxing dinner experience.

It was a monday evening in covidperiod, which made us at start of our dinner the only people in the restaurant. This was really nice, cause the staff was very friendly and could serve us really fast. A few tables were taken at the end of our dinner. It was a really lovely night out.

Obviously you don't come here for a culinary revelation but what you get is served with a smile. Got the ribs with the legendary potato.

Not sophisticated but very, very satisfying. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We got our food ridiculously fast as well.

Nice ribs.. As always. But little bit too small to be cosy

My favorite are the potatoes, so yummy. Ribs are good also. Service was a bit slow.

👍 Well maintained sports bar with so many activities. A bit challenging to locate for a first timer. Great atmosphere but 4 stars because the food was a bit disappointing. Burger could do with some seasoning.

👍👍 « Luxury fries 🍟 » and well it is quite expensive. But I’d say it is worth it at least once. It is the price for exceptional fries 😉. The fries were absolutely delicious, and well cooked. They ask you to choose 2 homemade sauces. I took the béarnaise and 🤤. The chicken chunks were natural and tas...
