Its big, clean, proper rayons and free wifi which I had access while being there. My french ikea card worked here as well and I was happy. I just wish it's restaurant would be open till a bit late.

IKEA is getting more and more diversified in their offerings in recent time. I have not seen a lot of new home items even last year. However, I would recommend to provide some more space for their plant section with wider variety. One can also go to IKEA just to eat IKEA food. Big fan of their vegetarian hotdogs.

You can find everything with ease. Food is good and prices are fair. Downside is that its full with people and making your way from A to B is a challenge and a test for your nerves... or atleast for me it is... every time i visit..

Great use of spaces and definitely great place to get inspires from just like any other IKEA stores. Down side was sometimes you find some items of your interest which are displayed in the showrooms but they are from other collections or fully sold out. Also selfscan was an chaos as many klants needed staffs for the purchase controls when there were not enough staffs which made the queue even more longer. If I am not mistaken other Ikea has an option of selfscanning the items upfront before the payment, so they should definitely follow their other Ikea locations to reduce the bottlenecks and give a nice client experiences. I gave 3/5 stars because of bad accessibility for those people who are taking public transportation as the bus nor tram doesn’t stop there. But even with the bus, if you are pedestrian there are no pedestrian crossing to get to the temporary bus stop at the main road just nearby the highway. I wished they could communicate to DeLijn for it. Otherwise there is no problem for those people with their own vehicles as they have enough parking spaces for you to park them.

Great store that has everything you it is just opposite to Hotel Holiday inn,it has complete kitchen set, bathroom, furniture, kids beds,couches, beds, closets, linen, cutlery, glassware, lights & fixtures, vases, candles, decorations, plants..bedsheets,chairs,cots,ladders,dining tables,flowers,candles,Lighting section,wall decors,door mats,refrigerators,office furniture,living room furniture and many more. It also has excellent cafe.On sundays it is closed

In the evening i checked the items and they were in stock, arrived at 10 o’clock sharp at IKEA, not in stock ! Waisted a whole hour to find the items, spoke with 3 employees, went from the storage house in the shop and back, they said if i buy the desk, they’ll send the legs for free, turned out that they don’t even deliver in Houthulst 😳🙄…..in the end, because it is a 77 km just to go to IKEA and another 77 km back home and because we didn’t want to go without a desk, found another in stock model….incredible crowded, lots of people who are there for…a walk 😠….the system is clever but annoying, go round in circle multiple times 🙁😒🙄…walked 5 km in the shop to solve the problem…we arrived at home dizzy and with headache 😵‍💫🤕…..

If you want to figure out advanced compositions for your house, go on an off-peak period (early in the morning or during a sunny day). Note that there is also a -1 parking.

Excellent place to buy furnitures, you can really find great deals browsing their items. If there's something you don't find at their storage you can find online (paying certain amount) depending on how much you're purchasing. Strongly recommend a visit!

IKea is a furniture shop offering the full range of products. We purchased a desk and an office chair. The dedk was lightly damaged on the side and the office chair did not move to all sides like mentioned in the users manual/montage manual. We contacted them for additional information but did not get any feedback.

Hot dogs dry as %£^& (not the first time), they break apart instantly, so you can't even put sauce on the dog as you have two separate parts. Tasteless, more expensive, definitely last time ever. Fries ok-ish. Huge lines at restaurant, perhaps invest in more queues in restaurant?

We got excellent advice over creating an addition to our kitchen, really good 3D modeling software as well. Then after we went through to return an item, and that was a breeze. After that we did the usual 1hr walk through the shop because anything less is just speeding through. And then to top it off with a decent salad for €1.75 was ok.

Yummy food of you stay at the holiday Ikea is just across the road, especially if you arrive at night and you want to get some food,it's lovely.

Very kind and professional cashiers, information consultants, food supermarket employees and other staff are all relatives. ***Ordered a pancake with bacon at breakfast, the kitchen staff was rude when putting food on the plate, so leads to some bacon falling out, and then, the staff tried twice to put the bacon that have been dropped on the counter (not the food box) into my plate. Even though I had told her the bacon was dirty and asked her not to put the bacon that fell out on my plate, she just wouldn't listen. With the help from the cashier, this matter has been submitted to the restaurant manager.***Very speechless. Here, everything else is perfect.

It's an Ikea so you get everything you would except with a clean store and lots of parkings pace. The restaurant is also a great place to have a little lunch break with some delicious food. The staff is very helpfull and friendly. So an overall good experience!

The one and only Ikea of Ghent. Located in the south of the city, you can get there easily by car (big parking) or by tram. Even by bike it is possible! The store is big, has the standard Ikea catalogue, restaurant and groceries. A must go place if you want affordable furniture. As a student, I have to say that 90% of my house is Ikea decoration 😅

IKEA is great and the same probably anywhere in the world. I've visited them here and in the US; mostly the same. Went there (of course) for the meatballs and smoked salmon, and it was delicious and filling for not a lot of money (10 Euros for each of us).

I was quite lost before I got there (walking). Like I mean you obviously see the building but you have no clue how to get there. 😄 Ended up crossing a four lane road. Maybe I’m just dumb, also possible. 😆🫱🏻‍🫲🏼

It's alright. A large Ikea with a lot of stock, nice to walk around in. The staff hasn't been very pleasant in my experience, they were in general quite rude.

IKEA continue to grow and become ever-more useful. Without risking the house becoming an IKEA showroom itself, it's too easy to come and find things to help furnish the home. IKEA Gent is in general much friendly and calmer than IKEA Anderlecht or IKEA Zaventem, which on busy days can be like stepping into a tornado. Even when visiting the restaurant it's often a bit too chaotic, but here in Gent it's much calmer. IKEA is really pushing into the veggie/vegan route, finally, and their offerings in the restaurant are now starting to improve greatly!

Nice place, but the recent hike in prices from December to January is huge one. The sale was also not great. But certain IKEA design and ideas are just excellent and beyond the best, you would certainly not find those things anywhere else. Will visit again and again to find those rare jems to add to my collection.

Easily accessible by car, tram en bus. I normally spent 2 to 3 hours in exploring, buying and planning my shopping. In any case you have buy alot and you want to carry through tram. You can carry your shopping through shopping trolly till tram stop. Leave your trolly there En take your shopping easily. Its quite a fun as well. 😜
