it's a nice station but always very busy and sometimes not very clean. and since 2009 it's been under renovation which was expected to have ended years ago it can be very annoying and to this day it's still going, it takes like 3 more years to finish each new platform, the first 2 platforms to be renewed started in 2012 and finished around 2015, last time i was there in 2018 platform 8/7 was starting on works assuming it will finish in 2021, they still have 6 more to go which is like 18 more years around 2039, 30 years to renovate the whole thing. I saw stations bigger being renewed in less than 5 years.

It was under renovation when we visited. It was really confusing. But the renovated part looks much better. Although the old building has these beautiful paintings of Ghent old city all over the ceilings. Overall I found it under-maintained.

Nice train station with indoor seating, the corridor gets so cold in the winter. Be sure to wrap up warm. There are cycle power stations here too. Looking forward to seeing the updated platforms.

Gorgeous train station with a nice old classic touch. There are many shops and coffee bars available to have something to drink or something small to eat. Covid measures were all very clear, and everything is well organized.

The station doesn’t have proper accessible stairs, elevators or such. I think it could be improved and maintained better. At least they have food options in case you need to take away some food for your travels and it’s well connected with the city center by trams and buses

The main building of the station is nice, it has a selection of cafes and such for food and drinks and the building itself has some gorgeous paintings. However as a foreigner coming here, I can't make sense of which platform I'm supposed to go to. The screens only show the train's final destination, the tickets only show the station I'm going to, so it's all extremely confusing. In the last 4 days we've only managed to go where we needed to by asking people around for help. If you're planning on visiting the country, try to find an app that actually shows you all the information you need from each train line...

Can not be abble to shate more about this station because when we are there we need to quicly to go to place that we wanna go and also we have ticket pp from berchem so we just run to see where is the place that we have to wait for the trein.

One of the nicest train stations in Belgium. Although filled with the usual bread and other shops, it still speaks of its architectural and historical nature. The extention with the modern touches just adds to the economical and practical value of railways. Always a pleasure passing by and it puts you dead in the center of the city.

The entry and exit of the station was a little confusing since construction was happening everywhere, but there were signs to inform how to get to a specific platform. Station is pretty far from the city center and you need to take a tram to reach the center.

Train station is okay. Nice ceiling but the “Nachttoilet” aka the night toilet was very disgusting and smelled bad. I felt repulsed to touch the handle and did not even want to take pictures. That is the only down side.

Many of the escalators seem to be out of order but it is otherwise easy to navigate and very clean for a train station. There are good food options and a Starbucks. The rest rooms, toilets, are a long distance from the front doors or tracks but it's not a huge place so the walk is not bad. Ubers pick up to the right as you exit the station and tacos pick up to the left and down a set of steps. There's a very nice green space that you walk through as you walk down to the taxi stand. Very Zen area.

The station is very well located, near the bus and tram to the city. You can have several drinks, there's a Starbucks and food, frozen yogurt, pasta, french fries, smoothies, wok noodles restaurant, sandwiches and more! I'd recommend it for the food and drinks. Lovely station, can be crowded during the more peak-y hours (between 9am and 12am, and between 4pm and 7pm), the station is still under construction so expect a lot of blocked passages and construction stairs. If you ever get there, do visit the main hall, it has one of the older XL displays which gives a great atmosphere to Gent St Pieters.
