We came in for an engagement ring resizing and the staff were all extremely nice and helpful. Once I picked it up the size was still a bit too large, so we came back in and they re-sized it for us very quickly. It fits perfectly, looks great, and we’re looking forward to coming back in soon for our wedding bands.

I’m very happy with my custom designed ring from Quest. We used my own oval and pear diamonds to create a ring similar to a Gabriel and co ring I’ve always loved. I wanted it to be tall enough and designed in a way where it would fit up next to my emerald cut eternity band. I wanted platinum, with bezel settings for the 3 main stones, slightly larger accent diamonds than my previous setting and a euro shank. Randa was amazing every step of the way and made sure every detail was perfect.

I want to comment on my great experience with Quest Fine Jewelers: The service and selection were superb! I was able to look at many engagement rings in their inventory, and when I was interested in a few rings that were not in inventory, Randa ordered out for these rings, and I was able to see them in only a couple of days. Also, Randa worked patiently and effectively with me on the design of an elegant custom ring, and ordered out for several diamonds that fit the parameters of what I was looking for. We brought in an etsy engagement ring that we wanted to get made with real gold and stones to last-- the ring is intricate and by no means an easy design, and quest was up for the challenge! Huan was amazing every step of the way as we custom made this ring with all moissanite and 14k gold. The process was flawless from start to finish. We are in love with my new engagement ring and will definitely be custom designing my wedding band with them next year!

My girlfriend and I paid a visit to Quest to get a feel for which engagement rings she liked best.The entire process from beginning to end was so smooth! I just had Quest make new rings out of stones from a piece of jewelry my grandmother owned and I could not be more pleased. Allison helped my mom and I design the new jewelry, figure out how to best re-use "old" stones, offered wonderful ideas, and generally the whole process so fun! In the past, I had Quest repair an heirloom ring after a couple stones broke, and I had them redesign my wedding band after it kept losing stones. They also re-set my engagement ring. I've worked with several of the store employees and never had anything but the best customer service. I'm always pleasantly surprised how reasonable their prices are for such high quality work and concierge service. Highly highly recommend.

I came to Quest looking for an engagement ring and worked with Yasmeen. She was outstanding! My career is pretty intense and I travel a lot, but no matter when I needed to talk something over, she was always there to help. Took a ring in for repair. It took longer and cost more than anticipated, which was fine whatever. But when I asked for a box for the ring when I left I was told it wasn't a Quest ring therefore I could only have an envelope... Told them it was a surprise for my wife and I just wanted something better than an envelope to present it in. They said sorry you can just use an envelope... The definition of penny wise and pound foolish.

I had an absolutely phenomenal experience here. Any hype you see via reddit, yelp, etc. about jewelers in the region is 100% warranted. These people are so incredibly nice. And not, "we want your money" nice. They are genuinely care about you getting the best engagement ring. They know their diamonds, settings, and rings well. I worked with Allison. I had an idea of what my fiancee wanted, showed a few Pinterest pictures, Tiktoks, and described her general taste. Not in rings, but my fiancee's general taste in aesthetics from clothes to home decor. Allison knew exactly what she was looking for and found the perfect ring. Not once were there any sort of suggestions to up-charge for no reason. I had such a great time with the process, I went back to show Allison the engagement photos. This place was a special part of my engagement journey. 10/10 and would recommend to anyone who is in the area ring shopping.

Staff here is amazing. Came here to get my ring resized and they helped tremendously. Learned a few tips on taking care of my ring as well. They were able to put a rush on my ring to receive it back sooner and they called us a day earlier than expected for my ring and it fit perfectly.

We absolutely loved creating our wedding bands and engagement ring with Rhonda at Quest. She was professional, friendly and resourceful in finding the ring-style that I’ve been looking for. They took into account all the specifications (size of the stones, seamless halo, single prong, 18K gold and Platinum, etc) we wanted and truly committed to a fully-custom ring set. Honestly, every single time I wear my set at least 2 people come up to me and ask where I got my ring done. Hubby worked extensively with Rhonda to create a stunning ring and she made every single edit possible. We are really looking forward to finishing my 3-piece wedding ring soon! We, again and again would come back to Quest and Rhonda when we finish or upgrade our rings.

We worked with Quest to design a custom engagement ring and wedding bands from Verragio. We visited several times to meet with Allison, who was fantastic! She was very patient, and helped guide us through the entire process of sorting through the wide selection and picking the gems. To say that Quest is the best jeweler in the DMV area would be a gross understatement. We were lucky enough to be taken care of by Allison, who is an absolute breath of fresh air. At no point during our experience did we feel pressured, upsold, or judged for our preferences -- that is NOT what Quest stands for, and she upheld that so gracefully. We spent quite a bit more time--than the average couple--with Allison (2 appointments and 2 months of email communications) to build my custom dream engagement ring. What can I say. Quest as a business has been wonderful to us - Allison specifically has been paramount in our jewelry purchases from helping my fiancé and mother with finding my engagement setting and sourcing the center Diamond, to getting my finances wedding band and now my wedding band set!! Allison is the BEST. After having it in my head I wanted a certain wedding band I ended up going with a combination that she suggested! I can’t wait to wear it! I had been doing a lot of engagement ring shopping with my girlfriend (soon to be fiancé <3), and she settled on the Secret Garden offered by Brilliant Earth. Unfortunately, or maybe fortunately, BE was pretty awful in terms of getting back in a timely manner as I was operating under a fairly tight timeline, as well as being very vague with their answers. At BE, we had wanted to customize the ring a little, but since none of the work was done on site, the specialist that helped us in-store would always say that they would talk to the custom design team and someone would reach out. Plot twist - they never did. That, combined with just doing some review searching on Brilliant Earth led me to search for a more local shop, and boy, am I glad I went with Quest Fine Jewelers! In no particular order, these are the things that Quest did that were so much better than what BE offered. 1. Let's start with the price, since that's a common concern - did they charge more? I'm happy to say that, NO, they did not, and in fact, they actually were able to not only give me an estimate for the custom ring we wanted on the spot, but they were actually able to beat Brilliant Earth's price! When we were shopping for the diamond as well, they had a few different options on-hand already, but I mentioned the specifications of the diamond that we had put a deposit on at BE and the representative that helped us (shoutout to Yasmeen!) said that she would try and find a diamond that matched those specs and she would try and get it for us at the same price. I believe it was just a few days later that I heard back from Yasmeen, and lo and behold, not only was the diamond a teeny bit bigger (every .01 carat counts, right?), but it pretty much contained the same attributes of the other diamond at Brilliant Earth and was slightly cheaper! 2. Service - I honestly can't say enough good things about the experience I had with them. Yasmeen and Randa are absolute rock stars! I think one of the most important things I valued in my interactions with them was the constant feedback and input they gave, but at the same time, they understood that there were certain things that my girlfriend really wanted/liked, and they were more than happy to accommodate these requests. The design process for the ring went through several iterations, and with each change we requested, we either talked in person, or on the phone to verify exactly what the expectations were. Overall, I felt very well taken care of, and when either Yasmeen or Randa were unavailable, the other was more than happy to step in. 3. Ring Maintenance/Warranty - I don't have much experience on this part yet, but one of the nice things that Quest does that BE did not was offer a bunch of complimentary services (assuming you buy both the setting and diamond from them). These included free resizing (even though the ring is custom designed), free replacement of the marquis diamonds if they fell off, and some other more standard things that you probably expect like cleanings, maintenance, etc.). It's also great that they do all of the work in-house so you know that the quality you get is consistent and it's not being shipped to some random jeweler. I think that pretty much sums up my experience with them so far. I will update this review with actual pictures once I pop the question! One last thing I want to note is that I called up another recommended local jeweler (from reddit, lol), but they did not deal with lab grown diamonds, which I thought was strange. But again, this was just another blessing as I loved my experience with Quest, and have already ordered more jewelry with them! Just want to throw out one last shoutout to Yasmeen and Randa, as they really made the experience what it was and I can't wait to see my girlfriend's face when she finally sees the ring!

We visited Mervis and Washington Diamonds before deciding to work with Quest due to the productive phone and email discussions my partner had with Kay and the exceptional customer service we received when we finally met Kay at Quest. We found Kay to be a careful listener as he was able to conceptualize exactly the ring we wanted based on the specifications we provided. We were able to choose the perfect setting at the store and determined that the next step would be Kay researching and obtaining the right diamond for us based on our criteria. This was going to be quite a significant purchase, and we were excited as we felt we could place our trust in Quest in terms of receiving the best customer experience and product. We mentioned that we were looking at mid-December to have the engagement ring ready and Kay explained that it was imperative that we start the search for the right stone. Kay also mentioned that he’d be in touch with available stones and that we’d have to move quickly since availability may be limited. Unfortunately, three weeks have gone by and we’ve not heard back from Kay. We received a prompt follow-up from both other jewelers but no communication from Quest/Kay since our visit. While we felt valued as a customer during our visit at the store, unfortunately our experience post-visit left us feeling forgotten and unvalued. We’ve decided to move on and start our search again in hopes of finding a jeweler that can help us create the perfect engagement ring.

Randa helped my fiancé purchase the most perfect engagement ring, and later she helped me pick out the most perfect wedding band to compliment it. She was always available to answer questions, always willing to let me try on a lot of different bands and carat sizes, and most definitely always made us feel very well taken care of. I took my college gold ring, from Texas A&M University, to Quest Fine Jewelers to have it resized. This ring has very intricate, fine detail and unique patterns.
