This place is elegant with an awesome vibe. I went for breakfast and the food was amazing. The service speed are acceptable and friendly. Their Polo bun are absolutely incredible! This lone visit has made this one of my favorite spots within jetty.

A group of 5 friends decided to enter here and we must say the interior is cozy and nice. I really love the colour concept, the food placement and the layout of the cafe. The staff is friendly and very attentive. However, the food that we all chose to order is spaghetti with different flavour is just decent / average. The soft shell crab pasta is nice and crispy. The drinks is decent & if you want sky/plain water, there’s a tray full of glass bottle and glass cups for you to take it. The main spotlight in the cafe is definitely the polo bun with butter. It’s crispy and it melts when you eat it. Definitely need to come back for the polo buns.

Our group of 4 came here for afternoon tea and ordered a drink and a cake each. The interior of the cafe is nice but the food and drinks is only soso. As a tourist would like to see more special/tasty food and having just been to norm micro roasters the day before, this one isn’t at the same level I had the slightly more unusual “guiness” latte which does taste a bit like the Guinness beer but within the alcohol, the top layer is cheese I think? It’s special but overall food is only so-so

Had dinner, the atmosphere was good, nicd ambient. Food was surprisingly good especially the risotto. Sweet potato spaghetti was average but it suits me as it tastes simple without much additional flavours, not salty too. Well fish and chips portion was big and good. Area to be improved is cleanliness, there were some food and cutlery dropped on the floor.

5star experience! I had great time here. I like the cozy atmosphere and the spacious interior, not crowded like the China House Cafe nearby. Strategically located near to the famous street art mural of Armenian Street. Excellent food presentation and tasteful. The mushroom soup is superb. Portion of foods are big indeed. Save a room for their cake, you won't regret. Sure will come back again soon!

Not that impressed with the food, to be honest. The pasta could use more flavours, especially salt. Some tastes bland and the risotto is too crunchy for my taste. Coffee is just so-so, not that strong. Chocolate moist cake is just okay, nothing special.

Went here on 1st June. The food is really nice! Good portion for the price. I am not sure if the poultry are halal source but they are muslim friendly and they have a lot of seafood choices. I had their mushroom risotto, I tell you what, the best I ever had! and their pastries are really nice too. They have second floor that they allow us to use for our team building. Their service is fast too just I wish they sent out food all together so everyone can eat at the same time but I think some food will be cold if they do that. Anyway, nice place, nice food, nice ambiance and good value for money!

Amidst the charm of Georgetown's history, we roam, Friends gathered at Picco Polo, a cozy, cherished home. In the heart of heritage, our laughter would flow, As we savored moments at this cafe's warm glow. Mushroom soup, a signature delight we craved, Tomato soup, a comforting taste, carefully paved. With each spoonful, our tastebuds danced with glee, In the embrace of good food, we found harmony. But it's the homemade cakes that stole our hearts, Layers of sweetness, a work of culinary arts. With every bite, we savored the cafe's love, In those delectable desserts sent from above. Time stood still, in that charming place we'd find, With friends and flavors, memories intertwined. At Picco Polo, our joy knew no bound, A moment in time, forever profound.

Perfect. If you have craving for sweet, this is the right place to you. Everything tastes really good. Also, I liked the decoration of this place, seems super cool. The staff was great too, communicative and even before to take our order they told us that it could take up to 15 minutes to prepare our breakfast as the place was a little full.

This is truly a fantastic place to come for anything from a hot or cold drink to a meal. Great service, amazing food, and a lovely atmosphere. It's my 3rd visit to Picco Polo. We had fish & chips, giant squid black ink spaghetti, risotto, spaghetti aglio olio & strawberry yogurt cheesecake. The fish was soft like butter. Huge portion and amazing taste! It’s a must-visit location for anyone in George Town.

Everything we ordered was so delicious, we just had to tell the staff before we left! I ordered the Singapore Chilli Crab Pasta and my vegetarian friend had the Mushroom Truffle Pasta and we both shared the yummyyyy Pumpkin Soup and a Lemon Meringue Cheesecake. I'm still thinking about that meal 12 hours later! 😍 Most pretty-looking places have mediocre food but the food here matched the beautiful decor!

Their pasta is the best! 😍 It is well-seasoned, cooked al dente, and the sauce complements the pasta perfectly. The portion is generous for the price. We will definitely be returning to this cafe. ❤️

📍PICCO COLO Cafe Located at Lebuh Pantai road. Chic and cozy, rustic mix minimalist decor. It’s been there for more than 2 years. Large menu, signature dishes, from breakfast to dinner. Good food and service, nice plating and presentation. Pork Free cafe, I saw some Malays and Indonesia Hijabers enjoyed their food. Delicious recommended dishes by friendly and helpful staffs. Display show its homemade cakes and pastry, matched with their various coffee and tea. Order and pay at the Cashier, but take your time to check out the menu at the table. Parking is around street side or private parking across the cafe. Very recommended! 🥗 Avocado & Smoked Salmon Salad RM34.90: nice presentation w/ dry ice below the wooden plate. Invigorating dressing, fresh crisp green and salmon, nice mix of everything. Recommended! 🍗 French Cream Orange Sauce Chicken RM29.90: chicken whole leg is succulent, delicious to the bone, love the plating and flavourful sauce, need more sauce for me. Love it! 🍝 Spaghetti Al Nero RM45.90: black squid ink pasta with topping of grilled ‘giant’ squid. So good, squid cook very well and yummy. Must try! 🥘 River Prawn Bisque Risotto RM43.90: delicious both grilled prawn and risotto, quite rich taste, it’s good. 🍲 Set Lunch Salmon Teriyaki and Rice + Americano + Mushroom Soup RM40.90: Nice slices of fried salmon with generous sweet teriyaki sauce, pickles, rice and fluffy scramble egg. Tasty dish. 🥤 Justice Brûlée RM18: coffee with nice decor, caramel all over glass as base, double heavy cream on top and sugar torched like Brulee kind. Sweet and refreshing with icy cold one.

The decor here makes the atmosphere very elegant and dreamy. The service is mediocre with no warm welcomes or smile from the service team. The desserts look good but were very disappointing. I had the lemon sponge cake and the tropical summer cake which was an oolong tea with guava jelly cake. The sponge cake was very thick and lacked depth in taste and then the lemon glaze was an overwhelming punch of sugar and tart in an attempt to make up for what the cake lacked. The oolong cake though was great in taste but the cake portion of it was mush like wet cake. It wasn’t a good kind of soft/moist that you would want in a cake, but mush. Although it tastes great I wouldn’t ever have it again because it just doesn’t have the right composition.

Love the atmosphere, design , lighting, vibe , furniture, service, cakes , drinks ..everything.. fall in love . Menu was quite interesting with softshell crab pasta . Cake was quite unique. Price was ok like normal cafe price. Drinks was unique. Tried the Rose Latte , syrup has rose flavor, coffee was regular latte .. overall good combi . Trued tge flavored cake was quite unique, less sweet wpuld be perfect. The price of pasta was reasonable. Like the wooden chairs, long sofa bench and natural lighting . The washroom was well designed with serviette ready in basket ( very thoughtful) . Overall romantic experience. Parking was challenging but found a open space parking nearby .

Recommended cafe to go around Georgetown! The coffee was good. Croissant was ok. I ordered additional mushroom soup on the side. It tastes very bad. Ambiance is good.

The ambience is amazing in this cafe and so aesthetic looking. The pastries and cakes are displayed beautifully. I tried the lemon pound cake and loved it so much I came again before I left Penang. However, when it comes to savory food, they are not very good. Presentation wise, great but the taste doesn't match up. My boyfriend had the breakfast platter and he wasn't very satisfied. My scrambled eggs on brioche and avocado were nothing really remarkable as well. But I could rave about the cakes all day.

Delicious black squid risotto which was creamy and the squid had a charred after taste. The Calamaro Tom yum pasta was a bit too sour and salty but the portion was big and ingredients are fresh. Maybe a cream base would be better with the Tom yum. Frizzy freeze was amazing. Refreshing drink with notes of cucumber, passion fruit and mint. This I would recommend!

Had English breakfast and hot cappuccino. Hashbrown, croissant, eggs were good but not great. Sausages were lower standard ones compared to what you get from cafes in KL. All these for the price of RM34.90. Cappuccino was a bit better than norm cause you get a slight balance between coffee bitter taste and milk sweetness

A typical run-of-the-mill cafes which which can be found in Penang. While the environment of the cafe is relaxing, the breakfast which we ordered wasn’t anything exceptional in taste. Apparently the cafe is famous for its polo buns but we didn’t try any during our patronage.

Risotto feels kinda undercooked and salty. Felt not worth the price. Taste are very simple. The mushroom soup and pumpkin soup is good.
