👍 The 'sisters' char-koay-teow is really fantastic and reasonably priced. For 2 persons, I usually order 4 plates. The beef noodles are also delicious especially the soup. BBQ chicken wings are also not to be missed.

Variety of food. the fish ball soup is special and homemade. Hokkein mee, toast with half cook eggs, steam “chee cheon fan” with dark shrimp paste typical northern style, simpleand classic . Price for me ok. Parking bit difficult, if willing to pay bit, can park at private car park opposite

Super Dxxx Expensive, just one small plate of "Chong" duck egg char kway teow WITHOUT cockle (si ham) already cost us RM9. The char kway teow taste was weird & imperfect without the cockle. If you want the cockle you need to add on RM2 for one tablespoon. Usually Penang char kway teow come together with prawn & cockle. But this hawker they purposely sell it by separately 🙄🙄🙄. It sounds like a recent case that, a tourist in Langkawi was gobsmacked after he was charged RMXXXX for a whole sea bass. Bad experience on this hawker stall, I will never come back for it. Seriously, suggest to try other hawkers delicious food like white curry noodle, lor bak, duck noodle soup, porridge, wonton noodle, satay, popiah & etc. Lastly, please take note that, you will be charged RM1.00/person if you did not order any drinks from this outlet.

An authentic Penang experience. Classic hawker food in rudimentary surroundings. Delicious, chaotic, lively, and tasty!

Char kuey teow is RM9 which is super expensive for the small portion but big prawns and taste quite good. Penang curry noodle is tasteless, porridge is nice. owner said this is festival price. This restaurant use disposable utensils which is not environment friendly. And another very bad culture in penang, have to pay RM1/person if you don't order drinks. Drinks are much more expensive than KL.

Great Duck and Chicken Rice. Not many stalls open for lunch on Christmas Day. Had Duck and Chicken rice, they are as good as it was, 35 years ago. Came here to taste the fried oyster, but it was closed.

We order Duck Egg Char Kuoy Teow here and I think personally the best so far that I taste. There’s lap ceong and prawn in it and it combined nicely with the kuoy teow. The queue lane is not so long, about 15 mins. It cost me 12 RM because of the big portion and duck egg. Relatively expensive compare to others, but I think it’s okay because it tastes delicious. You definitey have to try this!

The Hailam Chicken rice is very nice and the prawn noodle too! Hard to find car park hence better come on weekday and non peak time. The kopitiam drink is just ok only.

First meal in Penang. I assume it’s not the best food available here but it’s good enough for me. Price not exactly as cheap as I expected - maybe this place is rather touristy

An unpretentious coffee shop / kopitiam, strategically located next door to Sunway Hotel Georgetown. They have a number of stalls offering street favourites like char kue tiau, prawn noodles, beef ball noodles. They even have a stall selling musang king durians.

This is for the coffee shop owner who sells drinks. Thank you for your hospitality. I saw a container of the famous Sungai Petani tambun biscuit on the table. Asked if I can buy some, LOL, is actually for their own consumption. She treated me a one. Thank you.

Must try the Hokkien Pai Kut Lor Mee! It’s really fantastic. The gravy, noodles and chilli are something you’d dream about.

My favorite boneless chicken rice. The texture and the sauce are awesome! A place you ought to visit whenever you have time ❤

😠 Premium price tag but lousy service! There should be no star at all! I bring my family of 5 came for dessert around 8.30pm. There quite a few empty tables around but we were assigned to a long table underneath a staircase. The area is really tight. The wooden stool is not stable and there is no bac...

🫤 Overrated. Tried pork leg rice, Penang loh mee and Penang style CCF, all were subpar. Pork leg rice - Quite bland. The egg used was not even a proper lu-dan (soy egg), just a plain hard boiled egg. They did not even serve it with salted vege. Not good and not authentic. Penang loh mee - I'm a...

👍 Hawker style 'kopitiam' style set up serving various kind of local food under one roof. A good hangout place for tourists, friends and families to have meals and admiring the view. ⭐⭐⭐3/5 for food taste. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐5/5 for view. Beer available. Parkings can be a headache, otherwise fair. Well l...
