This is an extremely new hotel and it’ll be launched next year. I really enjoyed staying here and loving the interior concept that they have. We stayed for one night only. Hospitality service is excellent and wishing this hotel the best in the future. What I like about this hotel: 1. Clean and beautiful interior with cute industrial-themed furniture 2. The cute amenities they provided (toiletries, slippers, hairdryer) 3. Coway machine is provided 4. The bathroom is glass walled but it has curtain that can be adjusted using the remote. 5. Comfy bed and pillows 6. Parking space is provided for guests (really important) (soon they have multilevel parking) What can be improved: 1. Since it’s new, there are some things that aren’t ready yet like the actual hotel lobby 2. Also some amenities such as iron is not ready yet

Hotel Mokozoyo in Penang offers a delightful stay with its charming decor and attentive service. The cozy ambiance enhance the overall experience, making it a recommended choice for a pleasant stay. Located near the western end of Chulia street the location is not very central, however there are plenty of good food establishments especially for dinner along Jalan Sri Bahari.

Will be recommending the hotel to more friends and family! They’re currently open at a test run rate till Chinese New Year, so do enjoy the offers while you can. The room is really aesthetic pleasing and comfortable, they’re also equipped with quite a bit of smart products. Let’s not forget that they have the cutest amenities - the packaging is so pretty that I can’t help but to bring them home.

MOKOZOYO hotel in Penang is a relatively new hotel with a clean environment and reasonably comfortable rooms. It is located in a lively area with plenty of great restaurants and a few massage parlors nearby. However, the hotel has a significant drawback in that the bathrooms are quite damp, with an unpleasant odor. The hot water supply is also not consistently hot, and there is a tendency for water to accumulate in the bathroom. Additionally, during check-out, there is a wait of approximately 5 minutes for staff to inspect the room. If you have other plans following your stay, it's advisable to allocate some extra time. Overall, MOKOZOYO hotel has its pros and cons, and improvements in the bathroom conditions and check-out process would enhance the overall experience.

This is a hotel decorated in an extremely minimalist and industrial style. It's more like an Airbnb, without a proper lobby; the reception is in a small cabin. If you prefer larger rooms with a kettle and a separate fridge, it might not be a good choice. There are many snack shops and bars within walking distance around, and by the way, there's also a club nearby.

I recently stayed at this new hotel in Georgetown and I was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The hotel is located in the UNESCO area, and it's within walking distance of many famous local eateries, which was a huge plus for me. The hotel itself was very affordable, yet it didn't skimp on comfort or style. The modern industrial design was a refreshing change from more traditional hotel aesthetics, and I loved the attention to detail in the design of the space. Despite being in the soft launch stage, the hotel was impeccably clean and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and they went above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Georgetown. It's an affordable, comfortable, and stylish option that's conveniently located in a great area!

The overall experience of our stay at this hotel can be described as barely satisfactory. Upon entering the hotel, I couldn't help but notice its modern and fresh ambiance. The overall appearance of the establishment exuded a sense of newness, which translated into a feeling of cleanliness throughout. The hotel's design exudes a trendy and modern aesthetic, making it a perfect backdrop for capturing Instagram-worthy moments. Its industrial-inspired decor adds a unique and stylish touch to the overall ambiance. The hotel's focus on aesthetics is quite evident, as they seem to prioritize style over practicality. I distinctly recall coming across a pair of slippers adorned with the print "Stole from MKZY." During my stay at this exquisite hotel, I couldn't help but notice a small suggestion that could elevate the overall experience for guests. It would be a delightful touch if the hotel could consider offering complimentary refreshments such as coffee or tea in the rooms. This thoughtful addition would undoubtedly enhance the comfort and convenience of guests, allowing them to indulge in a warm beverage at their leisure. The hand wash provided by the hotel boasts delightful scents that we absolutely adore. The room walls in this hotel are quite thin, allowing for a less than ideal sleeping experience. The constant noise from all directions can be quite disruptive, making it difficult to get a good night's rest. The services provided at this establishment can be best described as lacking professionalism. It appears that the staff consists of a group of young individuals who are in the early stages of their business venture. During my recent stay at this hotel, I had a unique experience that I must share. Upon my early arrival, I approached the reception desk with slight apprehension, fully aware that check-in was scheduled for 3 p.m. However, to my surprise, the receptionist handled the situation with exceptional grace and hospitality. The hotel staff should consider politely inquiring if there are any additional accommodations they can provide, or at the very least, communicate with the guest regarding the situation. This is done with the intention of avoiding any inconvenience to other guests and to ensure a smooth check-in process. Upon arrival, I was greeted with a rather chilly reception from the hotel staff. Their response was curt, informing me that check-in time was strictly at 3 p.m. One of the highlights of this hotel is its prime location. Whether you're looking to explore nearby attractions or venture further out, everything is conveniently within walking distance or just a short drive away.

The hotel was perfect! Brand new, perfect decor and very clean. The staff are amazing and the prices the best on the whole island of Penang. If we could do it over we would stay there the whole time and just do day trips to Batu Feringghi. Definitely stay here if they availability

They pay attention to details in ways you can imagine. My husband really likes staying here. Aesthetically pleasing and thoughtfully designed even to the amenities. They provide clothes steamer upon request, you just need to whatsapp them. Staff was helpful as I request a quiet room because I was going to have exam. She gave me room 111, which located at the corner. The noise from downstairs was from some guests hanging out in the lounge or cafes. Thankfully it was quite bearable. Hopefully on the next stay we could get the 3rd floor corner.

NOISY!!!! There is a bar/pub in the hotel which blasts music until 12a.m.!! You think that was the end? No, there are a few other bars/pubs near the hotel which too, blast music until 4am in the morning! Please stay here if you want to "enjoy" sleepless nights!! Hotel did not provide room slippers as they have "no stock". Water heater was not hot enough. The only good things are hotel is quite new, location is good. Thats all. I won't be back.

It's a cozy hotel with smart TV available if you just want to stay in to watch YouTube or Netflix. If you are a light sleeper I would really recommend bringing some earplugs because the soundproofing is really subpar. I could hear people talking outside on the street and even the sound of vehicles reversing. Otherwise, the hotel is comfortable with lots of nice cafe around. There are bikes and umbrella available for you to use too which is great.

A nice place to stay overall but feels like an airbnb actually. Nice conducive environment except for the fact there’s a club nearby and the music goes on to 4am. The room isn’t really sound proof as you can hear ppl shouting along and walking around the corridors in the early morning.

Loved our 3 night stay here! Convenient location, super clean rooms, friendly staff, and the rooms just ooze with style! Some minor drawbacks: 1. The lobby is still under construction (which I didn't mind) 2. The nightclub nearby has... really loud speakers, so if you're sensitive to low frequency sound, might want to be aware of that (it's far enough where it's not an issue for most people, but I myself am pretty sensitive) Can't wait to stay here during my next visit to Penang :)

Brand new hotel with really cool vibes. Although some parts of the hotel are still under construction, the area is clean and chic. Owner really put in effort to blend in simplicity in design with high tech amenities. We totally enjoyed the stay and would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Georgetown.

Great boutique hotel in a great location, walking distance to basically all attractions. Nice little perks like snacks and hot and cold filtered water, only thing was the wifi was spotty and required numerous sign ins every time you used it.

Hotel is clean and super nice. I got the twin single room. It is clean and spacious. Beds are super comfy. Toiletries are well stocked up. Room is well equipped. Check in & out is smooth and staffs are very friendly and approachable. Free parking is available at premises. It’s near to the city centre and tourist attractions spots. Lots of good food around and a wine warehouse opposite. The massage next door is good as well. Definitely will be return for my next stay.

The hotel room looks nice and clean. The overall decoration of the hotel looks simple and comfortable. Staff is so polite and thoughtful. There are some fun jokes on the packaging of toiletries and slipper. Must take their slipper for sure. You can hear others open their door so the wall is thin if other visitor is noisy you won't have a great night. There are a cafe at the lobby of this hotel and you can order it in your room with the QR code, then they will deliver it to your room those sandwich taste good order it for breakfast will be nice if you don't want to get up early. There are coffee, tea pack and some free cookies in the hallway, Coway water dispenser available. You can see through the shower I thought the shower have no privacy but turned out you can also lower the curtain with the remote control inside the bathroom which surprice me. They are so friendly they even deliver a chopstick to my door when I message them and asked for one at night, I thought they won't saw my message it's abit late. Level L is a bar althought I did not visit it but I did passed by you can sit there and enjoy so It looks cozy. Recomanded the only thing I felt great for this penang trip is the hotel.

Room were reserved by a friend. Excellent value but almost self-service style. - No electric kettle in room. Common amenities at each floor for self service cold and hot water dispenser, and some snacks. - No phone line. Need WhatsApp to talk to service crew. - TV doesnt link to local channels. Can watch YouTube and Netflix (u need account to work) though. - Bed and pillow of economy grade as it's room rate. - Free Parking available. - Location is marvellous though. Target audience likely age group 18 to 35.

You know when the place is so good you wanna gate keep it? If you're looking for a place to refresh and recharge after a long day of enjoying Georgetown's offerings-THIS is the place to stay. Hotel is gorgeous to begin with. Service during enquiries, booking, check in and out was warm and welcoming. The room has everything you might need. Love the flask they provided for water refills at the water dispenser. You'll find pkts of local coffee, old school snacks and such at the common area near the lifts. LOVE yhe attention to detail!! We took 2 rooms for a family of 5 and it was such a comfortable stay.

Faultless stay. Clean, comfortable rooms with the best shower I can remember in a hotel for a long time. Cold and hot water tank on each floor where you can fill up your bottles, and a big fridge. Location is fantastic, right in the middle of everything yet positioned on a quiet street. New and ice cold A/C units.

Clean room and toilet, towels and toiletries are provided as well. Comfortable environment, friendly receptionist that answers my request 😊 There's a super friendly cat receptionist at night! Located in middle of Georgetown, very near to various well-known eateries and places. Hotel parking is right beside, so no worries about coming back late and having to look for parking. Overall experience is pleasant, would book again for my next trip there :)

Excellent staffs!!! The receptionists are friendly and helpful. Nice modern newly renovated hotel. However, there were few issues with housekeeping. 1. We checked in at 1am to a room with dirty bedsheets and pillow cases. There were hairs on the bed. The night duty receptionist had to help us to change the linen in the middle of the night. 2. Noisy "repair" works at one of the rooms at 2am, it woke us up, and ended around 3am after we complained. Lastly, very poor sound proofing. You can hear whenever someone walks past your door or neighbours open/close their room door.

To be honest, the hotel was very cozy and clean. I love everything but I'm not satisficed with their staff. They deduct my security deposit for a small hand towel that I use to clean my hand with makeup stain. First of all, the hotel did not provide a tissue in the room so what am I supposed to use instead of the hand towel provided. They told me they need to deduct for RM30 on a SMALL hand towel because they need to wash with special detergent to remove the stain. And plus there is a bar inside the hotel and it was a bit noisy in the night until 12 am.
