We
stayed
with
the
Ascott
group
numerous
times
for
its
cleanliness
and
well-maintained
facilities
around
the
world,
and
Citadines
Connect
Georgetown
is
no
exception.
The
building
is
renovated
from
a
historical
building
which
gives
the
hotel
a
mixture
of
cultural
and
contemporary
vibe.
It's
a
3-story
newly-built
hotel
and
everything
you
see
is
brand
new
and
tidy.
The
lobby
is
not
large,
but
there
are
plentiful
spaces
to
rest
for
a
while.
The
room
we
stayed
in
is
Studio
Executive,
and
it's
clean
enough.
The
air-conditioning
system
utilized
a
touch
panel
for
you
to
easily
adjust
to
your
liking.
There
are
no
drinking
bottles
inside
the
room
but
a
water
dispenser
is
just
in
the
hallway,
both
environment-friendly
and
convenient.
One
of
the
things
worthy
of
notice
is
the
tap
water
system,
where
hot
and
cold
water
may
be
installed
conversely.
The
hotel
itself
is
located
around
minutes
walk
from
Komtar
neighborhood,
and
you
can
easily
take
buses
to
the
airport
or
to
other
areas
of
Penang
via
the
Komtar
terminal.
Several
malls
are
also
in
this
area
to
give
you
the
convenience
of
shopping.
The
well-known
hawker
food
centre
at
Lebuh
Presgrave
crossroad
is
also
close
by,
where
you
can
easily
grab
most
of
the
famous
and
delicious
local
dishes
here.
CAT
bus
station
is
also
not
far
from
the
hotel,
and
you
can
tour
the
UNESCO
sites
with
it
for
a
day
trip.
Overall,
it's
an
excellent
choice
to
stay
here
for
its
brand-new
facilities,
and
its
convenience
regarding
transportation,
shopping,
and
dining.
