Best service, friendly staff, good food From Jahid and Mia Miton 👍🏻

I heard about this restaurant chain for years already and finally got to try it. First impression is the price of food is on the high side so quite pricey relative to other restaurants. For food, I ordered the burger and actually tried both beef and lamb version. Size is a bit small and there isn't much ingredients added to the burger. Feels a bit plain so doesn't really wow me much. For the price I am paying, I can easily go to Spades burger and enjoy myself a really damn good burger. Aside from food, the overall ambience of this restaurant is really nice. I managed to get a private room so I really enjoyed it. Service was fast and prompt. Our food was served relatively fast but there is a small catch here, there wasn't many people when I had my lunch so I am not sure about the service if it is fully packed. I guess what I really need to try is the steak which should be Menate's specialty. So I will give this place another try again and go for steak next time!

I don’t often eat at fancy restaurants, so I might not fully appreciate high-priced meals. We tried Set B. The wagyu was good, but the marinated meat was too sweet. The pasta, salmon and seabass were average, while the mushroom soup was nice. Overall, I’m not sure if it was worth the high prices, but this is just my opinion. With so many great reviews, maybe it’s just not for me.

Services from the staff are good. Especially in the meat selection section, the Malay female staff wearing glasses was professional and detailed while telling us the type of meat and how to get the best type of meat. But we forgot to look at her name tag. The food and drink menu is delicious. We would like to come again in the future. Thank you.

We had buka puasa event at Me’nate Penang on 17 March 2025 . The food superb , the environment very good and cosy . To make our buka puasa much better is the restaurant Manager Mr Syed . He take care us very well . Check on our food from beginning till end . All the best Me’nate .

Visited around 6 PM without a reservation and managed to get a table for two easily, probably not a busy day. The staff informed us beforehand that the air conditioning was broken, which we appreciated. Service overall was attentive and friendly. Service: While the staff was friendly, there’s definitely room for improvement. After leaving the menu on our table, no one checked back for quite a while, and we had to call for them to place our order. A simple follow-up would’ve made the experience smoother. Food Review: Caesar Salad: Nice crunch with fresh greens. The cheese was a standout, though it felt like it was missing an extra element to elevate the flavor. However, salt and pepper were provided on the side, which helped adjust the taste to our preference. Arrabbiata Fettuccine: Loved the option to choose the pasta type. The dish was flavorful with just the right kick of spice for me, though a bit too spicy for my friend. The sauce was rich and coated the pasta well. Angus Striploin Steak: Requested medium doneness, and they nailed it. Tender, juicy, and seasoned well. Recommended! Angus Beef Ribs: Fall-off-the-bone tender, easy to pull apart. We found it slightly on the sweeter side, which wasn’t quite to our taste, but we were nearly full by then, which might’ve affected our judgment. We both agreed it would pair perfectly with steamed buns to balance the flavors. Drinks: Just had mineral water and orange juice. Standard, nothing much to comment on. Overall, a good dining experience with solid service. Would definitely come back!

Absolutely amazing dining experience. You choose your own fresh meat cut (beef/lamb) or if you’re ordering seafood then choose your fish or lobster. All of which are fresh. The service was fantastic and the quality of the food is excellent. A winner for sure.

This buffet was easily one of the best I’ve had! Generous portions, great value for money, and an experience worth repeating. A big shoutout to Syed, the Outlet Manager, for making everything smooth from start to finish. Food and hospitality? 5/5! 🔥

Had great lunch here at menate for birthday celebration. Made reservation for two person & we got our own vip room. but one thing that need improvement, it will better if the birthday cake can be choosen through whatsapp prior to guest arrival. other than that everything was superb. One of the staffs named abdullah served us very well keep up the good work 👍

My husband celebrated my birthday at Me’nate Penang and it was an unforgettable moment . Excellent service by Mr Jahid and team .Very attentive & friendly . All food are delicious and so yummy . Atmosphere here really nice , comfy and kids friendly . Surely will come again . Highly recommended👍

I like the food, service and atmosphere. A bit expensive but you get what you paid, the staff also friendly. Honest review I really like the Aglio E Olio, the taste is really Malaysian one😂 Lamb ribs so big you can share to 2-3person. I recommend to try. The restaurant is big ya, if you want to do event such as birthday also can.
