During
my
trip
to
Penang,
I
had
the
pleasure
of
dining
at
Firewood
Restaurant,
and
overall,
it
was
a
great
experience
with
some
standout
flavors.
I
started
with
the
mushroom
appetizer,
which
I
thoroughly
enjoyed—it
was
flavorful
and
well-prepared.
For
the
main
course,
I
ordered
the
Norwegian
trout,
which
tasted
delicious,
and
the
smokiness
of
the
side
lemon
added
a
unique
touch.
I
also
had
truffle
fries,
which
were
decent,
though
the
mayo
sauce
didn’t
quite
hit
the
mark.
The
main
course
took
quite
a
long
time
to
arrive,
which
was
a
downside,
but
the
service
itself
was
excellent—the
staff
were
very
polite,
attentive,
and
made
the
dining
experience
pleasant.
For
dessert,
I
had
the
crème
brûlée,
which
was
absolutely
delicious!
It
had
a
perfect
caramelized
top
with
a
creamy,
rich
texture
inside,
making
it
one
of
the
highlights
of
the
meal.
I
paired
it
with
an
Americano,
which
complemented
the
sweetness
well.
Overall,
the
food
was
flavorful,
the
ambiance
was
nice,
and
the
exceptional
service
made
up
for
the
delay
in
food
delivery.
With
a
bit
of
improvement
in
timing
and
sauce
pairing,
this
place
could
be
truly
top-notch.
Would
still
recommend
it
for
the
flavors,
hospitality,
and
fantastic
dessert!
