😠 The service is terrible, there is one Indian lady who I assume is in charge of taking orders, she is extremely rude. They didn't even check our MySejahtera vaccination status, despite the fact that we have two doses. They were just looking at us casually, as if they wanted to eat us alive. And then... People often mention briyani, good, rice, taste, service, price, chicken, mutton, meal, Briyani,

The service is terrible, there is one Indian lady who I assume is in charge of taking orders, she is extremely rude. They didn't even check our MySejahtera vaccination status, despite the fact that we have two doses. They were just looking at us casually, as if they wanted to eat us alive. And then there's the food. The briyani was as bad as their service, with no taste at all. One of my friends told me that he felt like he was eating regular brown rice, that's how bad it was. Then we tried their crab raasam, which I gave a 9/10 for because I could see a few crab chunks in it. I detect a slight tumeric and black pepper dominance. Then I'd say their chicken 65 is the best thing that ever happened to me in my entire trip to the shop. It was extremely tender and juicy. The chicken gets a 10/10 from me. However, I am hopeful that they will significantly improve their service and customer management. And, of course, a hint of flavour in their briyani.

Decided to give this a go when came across this restaurant being listed under Michelin Gourmand 2023 and I wasn't disappointed at all! If anything this could probably the best Biriyani I've ever had. We've made our order through a delivery service so it didn't seem appealing at first but looks definitely didn't do it any justice. Butter Chicken was herb packed downright delicious and when I moved on to the Crab Podimass - it was even better and just when I thought nothing could surprised me.... the mutton was absolutely amazing. Bru Coffee also complimented the whole meal making it complete. This will not be my last visit, for sure.

We felt like getting indian food tonight, the place we were going to was closed so we found this place thankfully. We were pleasantly surprised. The food was superb. I had the crab curry and my fiancee had butter chicken. So many options to choose from. Very good price too. If you can't handle spice, just ask them to make it less spicy even if the menu says it's not spicy because it may still have a bit of heat to it. Also noticed there was no naan bread unfortunately so I opted for the dosai and chobatti. Yummy. Overall: 8.5/10

Just had my dinner in this restaurant again, after MCO. The food quality has dropped significantly. It doesn’t taste as good as before. Mediocrity. Briyani as much as it’s been promoted and famed, it tasted nothing like what it was before. Tasteless. Tasteless. Tasteless. The staffs are not following the SOP, not wearing masks when serving food and taking orders. Chefs in the kitchen are also without their masks. Minimal gap between each dining tables, having less than 50cm between back to back of patrons raises concerns. One infected sneeze and that’s it. If you’re up for a quick meal here, it may not just be the restaurant you want to step in. The dishes took forever to come. Talking about 40 minutes long. The ambience was poorly air conditioned, feeling warm as we were dining. Humid, worsened by the dirty plates left uncleaned after the patrons have left. Probably will not return for a long time.

When we entered Bite N Eat Dindigul Biriyani, we were welcomed by an unmotivated waitress asking us to sit in the second room. We ordered Mutton Biriyani for my 11 year old child. Turns out the Mutton Biriyani had a secret ingredient, a big black nail around 1 and a half inches that was dirty and rusted. Luckily she noticed the nail. We explained the situation to a staff member. He smiled and shrugged it off and we demanded a replacement biriyani. 5 minutes later he came back with a new mutton biriyani but turns out it was just rice with one sad little piece of mutton >.> we couldn't be bothered to complain again. Went back after eating. They tried to charge us for the nail biriyani but after saying we won't pay for it, we got it for free. Absolutely never coming here again. If you're in search of a d.i.y shop then you're at the right place! If you want food, go somewhere else. Unmotivated staff and mediocre food, but hey at least you get free tools! :)

Food was good, yummy. It was authentic Indian food. Hotel is located in the little India. Its small hotel and tasty food. Hygiene should be improved, it's a bit messy and I can only picturise the kitchen condition. And food a tad lot oilier than it is in authentic Indian cuisines. Rest was good👌🏿👌🏼 Hygiene and Oil part should be taken care.

The rice doesnt seems like basmati rice at all. It was like broken rice. Super worst. N the taste even worst. I pay rm21 for ayam kampung briyani. The chicken was so tiny and doesnt taste good at all. The mutton briyani was dry. All the briyani taste just the same. The price doesn’t match the food that we received.

The best Briyani in the city but service is very bad. All the items were delicious. I’ve ordered Mutton Briyani, Chicken Briyani and Lollipop Briyani. Also, ordered side dishes like Chicken kongkandu, Chicken 65, Fish Fry 65. All were delicious but there’s no options to decided your beverage as they offer lemon drinks only. The total bill paid RM507 for 14 pax. Worth for the price.

Awesome spot in Little India 🇮🇳 Really nice staff - very helpful :) Great value all round. Pallipalayam Chicken and Butter chicken curries were amazing - would highly recommend! Strawberry Lassi was also great.

Had an amazing lunch here. Ordered a veggie tiffin with an extra naan bread (definitely didn't need the extra bread!! 😄). So much food, and it was all delicious. Our waiter Hari was really helpful and friendly too. Definitely recommend if you're in Little India. Very reasonable price wise as well. 23RM for the veg tiffin.

We walked past this place when we weren’t very hungry, but decided to try it anyway. As a result, we only got a curry and a fried shrimp dish (I don’t remember the names of them). Both tasted great although, we were not able to finish. The waiter was very helpful in helping me choose a curry that suited the taste that I liked and all staff were warm, friendly and knowledgeable. Most of the food was served quickly and all of it was fresh. They additionally packed the food to take away in an extremely efficient manner. I do regret not coming earlier and hungrier as there was a meal dish that offered a taste of a little bit of everything (sort of like a mini buffet) between the hours of 1pm - 3pm. I also saw plenty of other delicious looking / smelling foods on offer such as biriyanis and pancakes. Overall, a lovely place that I’d happily return to.

We ordered one egg biriyani and one veg meal. The veg meal was so pathetic. The ‘veg’ was just around 6 pieces of fried podalanga and some potato masala. Then they gave sambar, tairu, rasam, pappadom and one more curry. The price of this is RM12.50. Vegetarian food can be better. I can get better vegetarian food with a variety of side dishes for a lesser price. Anyway, there’s room for improvement.

Craved for authentic South-Indian briyani and went here. The service was so bad. We expected for a recommendation from the waitress but she was looking at us and doing nothing. Chicken Briyani was 2/5 as it was served COLD. YES, it was not hot at all but then the NANDU RAASAM was 9/10 and CHICKEN 65 was 10/10.

10 of us ate in this restaurant and all of us had a bad experience. Briyani was Awful 😞... It took 30mins for the food to arrive. The service is so poor. They even miss an order. The meal set is the worst. Not worth it. Payasam looks like curd (as in pic) Briyani is cold n doesn't look like basmathi rice. The water in the jug taste like pipe water when we asked them about it they said it's filtered water. They didn't even feel to change the water in the jug even after we commented.

The food is good. Had a Mappilai Virundhu the non vege one with my two other friends, enough for three of us. The spiciness is just enough if youre low tolerance. The service is okay as well. Would recommend for an authentic Indian food.

Introduced to this imdian restaurant by my peers. The briyani here using short grain rice, not basmati. We ordered mutton briyani... Not bad, mutton pieces not flavourful enough to elevste itself from the rice. Love their lassi and deep fried cauliflower - gobi. Chicken prata (chopped) my least favourite of all the dishes.

My 1st trip here was like 4 yrs ago. The food was horrible tat time. It took courage for me to go for the 2nd time. And it turns out its a good decision. The food actually is very tasty. Spiciness is at a higher side and also the price $$$.

Food was good, a discover for my young son! (Chicken tandoori could be a little bit more cooked) Service was top thanks to Hari! And prices are fair. To sum up. Great stop

The food tastes great, but the portions are terribly small for the price, a lot smaller than many other Indian restaurants.

Overall this Indian food is best in Penang for their presentation, taste and service. The price is similar to KL pricing so somewhere around $$ / $$$. They also have been recognized for Michelin Guide for their food quality.

The worst briyani i have ever tasted in my life. Doesnt taste like Dindugal briyani at all...tasted like a chinese chicken steamed rice. The briyani looks so pathetic and it was not served with egg. Sorry to say will never recommend this shop to anyone and will never come again. Not recommended during weekend, very poor service and we waited for 30minutes to get our meals. It seems like the spices in the shop is out of stock that they serve customer tasteless and awful briyani. Not worth for the price, its very expensive for what they serve. TOTAL DISSAPOINTMENT!

We ordered their briyani rice which was tasty. We had madurai fish curry, kadai vege , crab podimass!!! Which was uniquely tasty. And chicken dish which was nice too. Overall good experience after staying at penang for a few days We badly needed our spice!!!

Great spot for some food. The dishes recommended by Michelin, especially the kongu nadu kozhi fry, or spicy dry-fried chicken with grated coconut were great. The dosa, and paratha were also great. The spicy mutton masala was tender and flavourful.

Ordered Mappilai Virunthu. Staff were friendly, taste of food was good. However, found out to have colouring on my fingers after the meal, as I used my hands to eat.. Mappilai Virunthu felt more like Mappilai Marruthani or should I call it Mappilai Marunthu🤣.. Just shows how much colouring(who knows how toxic it is) I consumed after having some chicken 65 which is included in Mappilai Virunthu🤣..

I've gotta say... Dindigul Biriyani lives up to its name whether it be the Mutton Meal till their biriyani it's just finger lickin' good p.s. seeraga samba is just the best rice to use for biriyani in simple words, it's a complete commercial entertainer which balances "dharalam"(generosity) with class and mass 😋🫶🏼

Got the fish biriyani and cold coffee. Super good, both. Fish biriyani is the best I've had. 10/10 will go again. One of the staffs was really nice to inform me the way to eat it is to pour the rice from the small bowl out onto the plate. Hehe. Also, this place is in Little India, in the intersection area.

Scrumptious food, mutton kola urandai is excellent, the customer service is also very polite and helpful, the food was also given very fast and efficient. The staffs was also very nice. The resstarunt aesthetics is also very appeasing with Indian music background. Everyone visiting penang must try this place, very nice. There is a variety of vegetarian and non vegetarian options to choose from and the food varies from so much different cuisines, especially the different briyani

Went there for lunch with family. Good service, food was delivered fast after the order. We ate mutton, fish and prawn briyani, food was good. Gulab jamun was too sweet. Otherwise, we had a good dining experience.

We visited on CNY so very busy but got seated in 15 minutes. Large range of dishes, although sadly the mixed platters were not available, so I went for the Mutton curry with a plain biriani which was a good sized meal and well spiced, with a salty lassi which was very refreshing.

I ate Fish curry and White rice. It was very spicy and delicious. The price is reasonable. Cold water was free. I was satisfied with the time there.

Food is ok, waited almost 45 mins just for briyani. Nothing great about the briyani just a normal. A plate of chicken 65( 9 pieces-small ones) Rm14, not worth it, as its was not even hot or fresh or even juicy. Disappointed! Overall if you are super hungry and can't wait not a place to go to, you'll just end up being H-A-N-G-R-Y.

Nice briyani.. food was delicious... We had plain briyani and had Al carte chicken n mutton as side dishes.. Briyani comes with raita, gravy, and payasam I believe... Also had fantastic milagu soup.. it's black pepper soup. If you having cold and flu..u need it. Had strawberry yogurt juice as drink. Only downside.. the payasam given with briyani was not cook well..there is chuck of unboiled rice.. which difficult to enjoy it .... Anyway.. environment was clean and hygiene... Have a great lunch..

Went again After a year but the taste was totally BAD!!! Mutton briyani was tasteless. Mutton kola urundai was pricey but not nice at all… Ghee rice looks and taste like jeera rice as too much jeera was in it.. A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT OVERALL.

Everything was excellent. The food here really hits the spot. The chili idli was so good - I've never seen that before. Gobhi chettinaud had great flavor. Chicken curry was spicy and flavorful, without too much cream.

Wow I'm totally blown away with the Indian cuisine here, this place is no exception. One of the best curries I've ever had. We had the chicken meal and the vegetarian meal, both were massive portions. So many different flavours but all mixed well together. It was cheap too, paid ~50MYR for the two meals, 4 chicken lollipops (so succulent) and a really tasty cold coffee, the coffee was quite sweet, tasted if caramel.

Food is good. They excel with anything doing with sauce. Their garlic naan is to die for. The only comment I have is regarding cleanliness. It could be improve. Beside that, staff is super kind and food is pretty awesome.
