Strategically located nearby cafes, food court and local attraction. Armenian street is ~300metres away if you're planning to take pictures at the boy on bicycle mural and Esplanade is ~1km away by walking. The room is value for money. The lobby area there's hot/cold water cooler, tea/coffee and dining area. Air-conditioning and water pressure is good. My only complain would be the bathroom sink is a stuck so the water drains slowly. Bathroom size is comfortable. WiFi is relatively good. Parking is first come first serve, only one is available at the hotel entrance. Otherwise roadside parking @ RM0.40 per half hour Monday to Saturday.

Look- you get what you pay for. Small windowless room (which can give you a weird sense of time) but has everything you need. I found the pillows to be uncomfortable and was a bit grossed out by the dirty shower curtain. I also had problems getting the shower water beyond luke warm. It has a great location and I did not spend most of my 2 night trip in my room so it worked out for what I needed.

Rooms very small but adequate. Hair dryer supplied which is unusual in my experience, girlfriend was delighted. The internet shouldn't really be mentioned as the one that you can connect to doesn't have internet access and the one that has access, even if standing next to the router is a struggle to connect and then still no real access. Also no window in the room.

This hotel provided all the necessary. The quadruple room was small but sufficient. Extremely clean and everything looks very new. Although there was a blackout one night which didn't restore till next morning, the staff were apologetic and did all the necessary to compensate for it. The staff were very friendly and helpful during our stay, in providing advice throughout our stay in Penang. Apart from the unfortunate power outage, it was a perfect stay.

This hotel is OK for a short stay in Georgetown, but the small room of 7 m2 without window is not suitable for a longer stay! The room was clean. There is an iron in the corridor. No kettle in room but you can get free cold/hot water for tea or coffee upon receipt. As for the staff, the woman was very friendly and professional, unlike the young guy who was more busy with his mobile phone than with his work, he did not know anything about the city, even if there was a Landry service at the hotel. Good location close to the nice Camera museum and Batik museum in Armenian street.

All in all, the best hotel I’ve stayed at in Penang. The first night, the front desk keyed the card to the wrong room, and I ended up walking in on the couple who rightfully occupied it (oops). After getting that issue sorted out, the stay was pleasant enough. I stayed in two room types, the superior king, and tatami after extending. A few notes: The coffee cups hadn’t been washed properly, with rings of dark brown remaining in them, and the hot water heater in the tatami room appeared to be malfunctioning or not functioning at all. Good cadre of cleaning staff who walked in on me only one time. Quiet, though the walls or door are thin enough that you can hear others closing their doors. Comfy bedding and good air conditioning. Compared with the horror stories you will encounter around Georgetown, Bstreet seems a proper hotel. Needs some polishing around the edges and more through checks during maintenance perhaps, but a reliable choice. The ladies working the front desk during the day were pleasant to speak with.

Great hotel with reasonably priced rooms. The tatami room was small but comfortable and had good facilities. The bathroom again was small but with useful shelves and hooks. The only downside was the sink didn't drain very efficiently. The shower was particularly good with a waterfall and normal faucet function. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was free cold water as well as tea and coffee and a microwave in the lobby. We extended our stay from 3 nights to 5 and would definitely stay here again

Nice enough and clean hotel however our room was extremely small with no windows. If you’re staying longer than a night or 2 I would recommend upgrading or staying elsewhere. Not a bad location. On the day of arrival we were arriving at 9pm and had no wifi all day. When we checked our phones at 7pm we had an email and a WhatsApp saying they required confirmation of the booking or they reserved the right to cancel if we didn’t reply. Pretty unnerving to then be unsure whether your reservation will be cancelled when you think you have booked a room!

Beside location nothing than that…sound proof not really good, you can hear next door washroom flush and the opposite of the hotel is a bar for chill, is very noisy at night time until 3-4AM. You can’t sleep at all. Room is small, cleaning acceptable, bathroom with 2in1 shampoo hair wash + 2 basic set toothbrushes

Nice place to stay in Georgetown, the room is nice and not to small, price is more than ok. The only thing was the wifi problem, it doesn't work very well during the 4 days. Otherwise everything was ok 👍

This hotel has everything you need for a great stay in Georgetown! The rooms are cozy and clean, staff is super friendly, they provide free water and tea/coffee, and it is located in a great location to explore the street art and other attractions nearby. We ended up extending our stay because we liked the hotel, area, and town so much.

Didn't have high expectations as it is priced like a budget hotel. But superb service, cleanliness 10/10. Room is small but perfect for those who only want the room to relax after a long day out. Bed was big and comfortable, bathroom was provided with body soap, shampoo and other amenities. Overall amazing stay. Staff are very kind

I absolutely love this place. I actually haven't checked out yet but have some time to write a review so I wanted to get it done. It is extremely clean here, in a prime area, they have free coffee and tea at all hours (and crackers. ;). The people at the front desk are some of the friendliest and most helpful I have ever encountered. Especially Pin, who I got to know a bit over my 4 days here. She is absolutely lovely. I would also note to spring for the larger rooms if you can. But everything is clean and new and the place is wonderful for an amazing price. If I ever come back to George Town I won't even think about staying at another place. You should stay here too

Best stay in this trip. Though no window, my room is very comfortable and quite clean for solo traveler. I like the bedside adjustable light that I could read at night. There are at least two power points instead of one in some hotels. One of them charging next to the bed so super convenient. Good location and walking distance to cafes, restaurants, though you need to walk a bit to the street market at night. Staff is 24 hours at the counter and super friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed my two nights stay there and definitely will go back to this hotel in my next visit to Penang.

Simple hotel in center penang. The place is clean. Like super clean so I am impressed. The only down for me was the street can get a little noisy - with some loud after bar talking and shouting down the street. Might not be like this every night as I only stayed for a night.

The hotel was very strategically located, surrounded by many cafes, and popular attractions not far away in georgetown. However, public parking is very limited as the hotel only has one parking in the front by first come first serve basis. We had to park quite far away and walked a distance to the hotel. During check in, we were assigned to one of the room on the top floor. To our surprise, the room was a stand alone and beside the room was the housekeeping area, which was very noisy during the daytime as we tried to rest in the room, cause by the yelling and sounds made by the staffs. Bad soundproof and the room was quite small after putting a king size bed in it. At night there were sound of pipe ringing which has greatly disturbed our stay here, I believe its connected to the water flow in the hotel. In the room, dusts were everywhere and we believed it has been vacant for some time without much care, the curtain was dirty and stained, however very luckily the bed was clean at the very least but hard at the same time, making it even harder for us to sleep. The toilet was even worse, the floor was made of sandy rock and pebble material, which is feeling unpleasant to the feet and there are always dirt stick to our feet when we came out of the toilet, and the wall of the toilet is full of stains and dirt, which made us to believe that it was not properly cleaned prior to our stay. Overall it was a very unpleasant stay, probably because we were given a room that is maybe vacant for some time (as we realise the elevator to the top floor was off limits), not sure about other rooms. Also to note that every morning there will be prayers as wake up calls to those stays around here.

There’s a mouse on dressing table in your hotel. Do you know how disgusting it is! I looked for fully refund politely but you guys just change a room and replied: “you found the mouse this morning not yesterday, I change the room for you already so cannot refund anymore.” So do you mean I open the door and let the mouse come and sleep together? Of course it is there before I enter the room. Also, the PIC didn’t even show up to settle this issue. I am very disappointed and look forward to receiving a reasonable offer of compensation!

Very bad, internet connection was down for several days and we were complaining about that but no action has been taken! People here are not flexible enough and lacking communication!!! Better find another place !!!

Pleasant experience, friendly staff, clean and comfy room. They do not accept TnG payment, only cash and card Free tea and coffee at the lobby Walking distance to Lebuh Kimberly, Lebuh a Julia, ferry terminal, and few cafes nearby the hotel

Nice and clean hotel. Free flow of drinks and beverages provided at ground floor. The staffs are nice and polite. Stay for a night but the hotel help us to keep our bags at the front office while we leave for 2 days holidays outside Penang. Few minutes wall to ferry jetty and places to eat.

Loved this place, we stayed for 1 week. The staff really made you feel at home. The foyer was like a lounge with free tea, coffee and cookies along with a variety of papers. The room was perfect, everything you needed for a weeks stay. Bed was comfy, bathroom a good size. We had the room on the top floor facing the front with a lovely view over the tiled roofs of Chinatown. There are a few reasonable price warungs nearby and Western priced cafés. Indian, Chinese and Western restaurants are a 15 minute walk away or a short grab cab fare. The area is very quiet at night and felt safe.

Honestly, I would give 0 star if I could. What’s up with these FAKE HIGH-STAR RATING. Waking up with a RAT SLEEPING BESIDE. A total NONO FOR THIS HOTEL! Totally understand the fact that a rat is what you get for this rate. Very UNHAPPY with their way of handling this issue as well!
