unhelpful service, got problem with the electrical outlets and the room, but not offer to change the room. Dirty and noisy room, the blanket was a torn rag, stained bed sheet. Booked via Agoda but the hotel requested payment in cash, Agoda agreed to cancel without any charge to the hotel but the hotel didn't agree to refund. Not worth all that hassle, rather go somewhere else?

Very expensive place for that kind of service. Rooms are 75rm per day and 85rm for the weekend but are very small (around 7sqm or 75sqft). Public showers and toilet. Obviously, there is no hot water. No parking. Everything is cheap in this hotel but the price. I highly recommend getting elsewhere, and you will definitely have better service for your money. Or if you don't care about the comfort, you can find cheap hotels in GeorgeTown for 30rm a night with that same poor quality. The staff is cool, though, and the location is pretty convenient

I booked a single bed with shared bathroom. It was really cheap, though I didn't mind the room being a bit warm. These place has a certain character to it. Oriental and rustic.

I did not like this place. The rooms were gross, the mattress and pillow both were filthy, the windows did not have glass, only wood shutters so it was full of bugs. A tiny thin blanket was provided, so it was very cold at night. The staff was barely paying attention at the front desk. The only positive is that the bathrooms were in relatively decent shape... avoid staying here if you can.

if you're looking for low budget, inexpensive hotel room and don't mind little🐀, this is the one. I booked for single room(online) at rm28.30/night for 3 nights. when I check in, due to some reason so they upgrade it to double bed room for free, what a good deal. but the not so good things are, this room got 3 (or more) 🐀! I realise that not too long after I check in the room. the next day I tell the reception about that. immediately she blame me for bring in the food to the room, which I didn't. she's very unfriendly and rude. she's on day shift, wearing glasses, can't even talk and pronounce words clearly, yet so grumpy. now I understand why many other complaint about the unfriendly staff, and obviously she is the one. the room is facing main road, noisy traffic due to old type of windows. floor under the bed so filthy, seems never been cleaned before. I gave 2⭐ coz I got room upgrade, good deal and nice cooling A/C. otherwise, I'd give 1⭐ for terrible staff‼

Toilet is a hole in the floor with no toilet paper. Every now and then shower would spurt a red brownish fluid and water smelt like metal. Room is what u expect for the price just a bed which is fine, no complaints there. Better than being homeless. Staff were nice

Hotel outside looks ok, but the room was not clean, dirty carpet floor, share toilet still consider clean. Poor sound insulation (隔音很差), people chating in the room beside can be hear clearly, if they making noise, totally cannot sleep. Poor counter service, very slow and we waiting for long time during check-in. Only location consider ok, have parking space. Thin and short blanket. If look for budget hotel can consider it, not recommend for family or holiday.

The hotel has very complete amenities and the furniture, oh wow, really took me by surprise. The relics really made me feel like I had traveled back in time, into the distant past. 10/10 would recommend, and would come here again the next time I visit penang, Georgetown.

Stayed here for one night. Very convenient as the hotel is just distance walk from GAMA mall just in case if you need to buy stuff. It is also located nearby restaurants at walking distance. My room is queen sized bedroom with bathroom attached. The space of the room is perfect for two, blankets and towels are or provided in the room. Although the hotel is quite old, but it is perfect for customers who love antique interior design. Vintage but you have ceiling fan and aircond in the room. Easy check in without deposit. However, the inconvenient part of the hotel is lack of public parking space, no hot water in shower system, eating is not allowed in the room, only 3 channels available on the TV, toiletries and complimentary drinks aren't available in the room and water dispenser is available only at the hallway.

Never ever!!! The man at the reception welcomed us asking reservation and payment and the service stopped there. The hotel is pretty big but he didnt have 2 minutes to show ua around, where the room was or anything else. The bathroom not really clean with no hot water. Pillow dirty and instead of a blanket we had towels. Walls too thin, you could hear everything happen in the other room.

Room was in bad condition, ceiling, walls, floor. even bed. Booked through Agoda, not seems like what was promoted. not pleasing for stays. Toilet looked like never washed for weeks, not a comfortable and hygiene. Mosquitoes too much too. Staff was friendly and excellent.

Although it's an old shoplot converted to guest house it's very quiet here so it's good for people needing a good night sleep. Cleanliness is ok better bring own towels. Water filter available with two pantry and many living rooms

MOUSE UNDER THE BED! We hardly make bad reviews, we look for cheap places and we adapt a bit 'to everything, but in this hotel the dirt, and rudeness has bordered every limit! We arrived at 2.30pm (check in at 2pm) and the room was not ready, after 20 minutes they give us the keys telling us that they will not give us towels because they do not have enough. The girl at the reception was rude and unfriendly. Let's go alone to the room where the sheets had not been changed, there were a lot of hair on the bed. We wait another half an hour and a boy arrives and changes only the sheet and not the pillowcases and blankets (which are not covered but two old rags). The room is dirty, probably never clean, but only the linen change (not always), the carpet has not been vacuumed for years. The shared bathroom is old and in bad condition, but it would also be fine if it were not for the fact that in three days of our stay has never been cleaned! BUT NOW THE MOST IMPORTANT PART ARRIVES: The third and last night we hear noises under the bed after more than an hour we can be sure of what we feared! It was a mouse! But it's still not the worst thing. The worst thing is that when we went down to the front desk to point out the problem the guy did not seem surprised at all, he did not even apologize and being dealt with enough he gave us the keys of the next room where at 2 o'clock we had to move all the our things! The other room was as dirty as before and I do not know if by suggestion or not, but we continued to hear noises all night! In any case, even the little we paid (which is not so much in Malaysia) is still too much to sleep with mice and be treated like that !!!

I booked a single bed (share bathroom) for a night. The location was near enough from Komtar. The check in process ran smoothly, there was 50RM deposit. The room was OK especially for spending night (sleep only, hahahaa..) The room was quite wide for single bed. AC worked well, there was a big ceiling fan also. The bathroom was quite clean as well the room itself. Mostly, all is well for me except for two things: 1) TV could not turned on in my room, and 2) It's a bit noisy since the voice of your next door could be heard. With less than 30RM, I would recommend this place if only you need a place for sleeping.

The hotel can provide low prices but I would say that the condition is quite bad. I managed to get my queen size bed room with shared toilet for rm38.28. the room is basically drywalled and the bed looks dirty so does the pillows. The windows has huge gaps which allows noises to get it. The shared toilet is has a reasonable cleanliness but the shower and toilet is very hot.

Good for the price. Room is clean. Mirror should be kept clear and wiped often. Should provide a place to put used soap instead of lying around in the bathroom.
