Great tour with a lot of fun information on the distillery process from Nelson! Loved meeting Carl!! Got to sample a lot of tasty rums, vodka, and gin! Also love the new rum & ginger as well as the rum & coke cans! So easy to enjoy at the beach!

Really neat experience touring the Cayman Spirits Distillery. The tour guide made it a great experience, with a lot of rum tasting! He was very personable, had great stories to go with each tasting, and shared all the history to the distillery which was neat! We bought our tickets in advance but also saw others walk in and were welcomed to join. The afternoon sessions are typically busier then the morning ones. Would recommend if you’re in the Cayman Islands!

We had a great visit to the distillery! We were only on Grand Cayman for the day on a cruise but did the 1pm tour and it was great and less crowded than the earlier tours had been. We got to taste so many things they distilled and all were great plus you get to see their distillation process and well. Highly recommend stopping here for the tour and tasting!

absolutely amazing tour! book ahead to secure your spot… the tour guide was amazing. he was super knowledgeable, funny, and friendly. you get plenty of samples so be sure to take a taxi, bus, or have a designated driver! the tour goes above and beyond alcohol— loads of great conversation about Cayman culture and history (as well as many other topics). I would absolutely recommend going on this tour/tasting!

Best tour ever! Never been on a Distillery tour where they let you sample so many different flavors. Definitely eat before you take the store. Don't be surprised if you buy more than you planned to. The tasting comes first in the tour with the history of The Distillery comes after, so plan to spend 2 hours here. Only buy the alcohol here, the rum cakes are a little overpriced compared to the tortuga store just across the street.

This experience was a total blast! Athena was an amazing tour guide. She is wise beyond her years, very entertaining, and not to mention funny! You get a ton of samples and great information on the distillery itself and each spirit. There is not much to the actual tour of the factory, but for me, that was not a negative. This is one of the most fun things I did while on vacation. Definitely check it out! The spirits are delicious!

Spent the afternoon at Cayman Spirits Co. and what an afternoon it was. We arrived early for the tour and Mishka (I think that was his name, it was many rum drinks ago) was an AMAZING host. He was funny and friendly and spoke with passion for his job. My favorites were the banana rum, blackberry liquor, and the small taste of 194 proof liquor. The price of admission is insanely reasonable as well as all the other bottles. If you like rum, and love to support small businesses you owe it to yourself to come for a visit.

I was excited when we first got here. Local company. There were 4 cruise ships in port so they were busy trying to get people in and out. There was a black gentleman giving the initial presentation. Very knowledgeable. He was fun to listen to. We tasted their 7 fathoms and the white rum and their dark rum. It was good. We tasted coconut, blackberry and amaretto. Really sweet. It was a big group and a small facility, so they split the group in half and a very pretty young black woman did our half of the distillery part. We went back into their retail and we were allowed to sample more . But then I noticed a couple of bottles of rum off to the side that are special aged. One was in an oloroso sherry cask finish. Since my husband has recently started adding sherry casks finished whisky to his collection, I was really interested in the rum. But when I asked the long black haired white guy behind the counter about these specific bottles, he was somewhat condescending stating that they are not the free tastings and I would have to pay for those tastings separate.. ok. But then when I asked if those were actually for sale there. He said yes but then talked down to me because the bottles were like 100 bucks. I felt like he figured that selling a 25$ bottle of banana flavored rum was far more important than selling anything that might be really artistic worth sipping and enjoying. It's pretty safe to say I will never purchase any for my husband's collection, and I won't be back because of this gentleman.

This was a fun activity. There wasn't really much of an actual tour but plenty of tastings. The guide was very personable and funny. She was amazing 👏 My favorite was Governors Reserve dark rum. Heads up - the road getting to the place is a bit sketchy. You think you're driving into the wrong part of town, but it's fine, don't worry.

This place is amazing. We prepaid for a tour here on the Carnival Cruise and got to try almost all of the rums they had. Our host was awesome, and had a great sense of humor. They have a great variety of rums, and they were all fantastic. They definitely have a passion for what they do and if you're thinking about going, I would definitely recommend. Really hope I can come again one day.

We had an amazing time. Misko was our guide. He was knowledgeable and funny. The tasting was th ebest part. We tried probably 15 different rums and liqueurs. Well worth the price of admission. We told our guide we were going to go to Thatch & Barrell for dinner but they were closed. Misko got us in anyway. What a surprise. They were filming a local dining video and the 2 are related. Recommend both.

We cruised into Grand Cayman for the first time. After taking a taxi tour of the island, a part of our group wanted to stop and try some rum at the Cayman Distillery. We did not have reservations and did not have time to wait for a tour as the ship left relatively early. But for a very small fee, Athena took us on a tasting tour of the rums and spirits that Cayman Spirits produces. Every one of the samples was different and served in an order that allowed us to taste the flavor without merging the nuances. Athena was amazing. She was friendly, conversational, and funny. She made the delicious sampling even better with her candor and personality. We purchased the "build your own sampler" 4 pint box with Coconut Rum, Banana Rum, and 2 of the Dark Rum. The Blackberry liqueur was a favorite, but it did not come in a pint. We decided to walk the path from the distillery to the cruise tender. It is about a mile, but it was an easy trip. While some have said in reviews that the area is "sketchy", we found that it was simply industrial. My wife and I are already planning our trip back to Grand Cayman and will visit again.

We were over charged when buyind a souvenir. The lady charged US 87 instead of the US 8,70. We asked for the mistake and she confirmed. Unfortunatelly, she took some advantage there and we felt sorry. We DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING anything there so you won't get any problems like us.

A must stop when visiting Grand Cayman! Our host, Athena entertained us with the history and stories of their amazing products. Athena offered comedy and knowledge with every pour! We had reservations but did not pay for the tour until it was over.

Had a great time at the tasting and tour! Our host was wonderful, funny, and very knowledgeable. We got to try so many different kinds of rum plus additional spirits they make. They were all delicious - even the people who don’t usually drink rum loved it! We even left with bottles of our own to take back because we loved the flavors so much. Fun for everyone!!

Absolutely enjoying this tour (still going on atm), our tour guide is hilarious and knowledgeable! I absolutely recommend this tour, definitely worth the price be sure to taxi or bus it!!! I really recommend doing a private tour as well if your on a ship (I know I know just trust me and listen) it’s barley 15 minutes if that from the cruise port, and you get to enjoy more since your not on such a time slot!

I’ve been to Cayman Spirits twice and it has been a fun experience each time. The tour guide / host does a wonderful job of creating a fun atmosphere while teaching you about the rum, the distillery and the island. You do not need to like rum to enjoy the tour / tasting. You also get to sample just about every type of rum / liquor that Cayman Spirits makes. Looking forward to going back next time I’m in the island. This is a fantastic place.

Athena was incredible! So fun and genuine and personable - very knowledgeable and made the whole experience above and beyond fantastic. The tastings were delicious but Athena really made the whole experience the best!

Super place! The tour was awesome, tasting is THE BEST, and prices are pretty reasonable. They also have a variety of other things you can buy, other than liquor. Most definitely recommend.

Our tour guide was from Croatia, and was super knowledgeable. He explained the entire distilling process for both rum and vodka from origin of the barrels, the difference in how they age the rum in the ocean vs land, and so on. Hands down one of the best rum tours I’ve taken in the islands.

  • 1/5 Devin W. 2 years ago on Google
We tried to do the tour which shows you how the rum is made and the tastings however, the we did the tasting first and our guide was more concerned about flirting with the ladies in a Bachelorette party and what should have been a 40minute to 1 hour tour was 2 hours before we left and did not get to see the process of making the rum. The tastings were good and staff was friendly but fairly unprofessional.

If you love intimate settings and enjoy rum then this is the place. Our host and tour guide Misko was a wealth of knowledge and full of funny jokes and anecdotes. Now when they say a rum tasting be prepared. We had a sampling of atleast 10 different spirits. Now 4 liters are now coming home with us. Everyone loved the Coconut rum, banana rum, and all of the various schnapps flavors. The physical tour is also very unique and intimate. The story of the origin of this distillery is amazing and you will have to take the tour to find out! Thanks again Misko! If you are staying on Grand Cayman for any length of time take a couple hours and make sure to visit this place.

  • 5/5 Jim L. 2 years ago on Google
Great spot. Fun event. Great staff! We stayed for 2+ hours! Will definitely go back. Too bad they don't export all of their different rums. The coconut rum was our favorite!

Informative and fun tour with Adam and Adam! :) Tasted a variety of yummy rums. Great conversation during the tasting with Nelson, one of the owners.

Best distillery tour I've been on! Fun for all of drinking age. Moses was knowledgeable and fun. My friends and I were the only ones that stayed for the tour and it was great! He took us through the entire process and the history as well. The tastings were fun and their product is very good! For anyone visiting Grand Cayman I highly recommend Cayman Spirits Co. and you should do the tour as well. We will definitely be back!

I stopped here during a cruise ship excursion. The workers were funny and informative, and the company made fantastic rum. If you can stop in, it will be worth it.

  • 5/5 Brenda Samantha N. 5 years ago on Google
From the moment we entered the distillery, we were greeted by Moses, who is funny and just down to earth. The workers are equally lovely, they stopped by and chatted with us, while we waited for the tour to begin. Price per person is $15, and it so worth it. You get so many tastings; it's ridiculously awesome! In a nutshell, the people, the rum, the music, and the atmosphere was excellent. I will do it all over again, in a heartbeat.

  • 5/5 Kimberly R. 5 years ago on Google
Rose was the man with the plan, we stayed hyped up from the music and his moves. Lol The tour was informative and gave you a better understanding how rum and gin are made using cane sugar. Thank you Webster's Tour for taking us on a tour of Grand Cayman Islands Georgetown, we would have never found Cayman Spirits Co. on our own. We definitely enjoyed ourselves and purchased great items and souvenirs.

If you come to Grand Cayman you absolutely must go to Cayman Spirits Co. Excellent staff and terrific spirits. We loaded up with bottles to take home. We will be back in a couple of months and will be coming back.

On vacation, stopped in to taste rum and the guy pouring was incredulous we walked in at 3:30, unaware there are STRICT times the tours are started and this 30 minutes “late”. It’s fine if you won’t serve us u less we arrive on your timetable, but chastising us in front of your crowd was 100% unnecessary. The place is super sketch all around with a jerk at the counter pouring.

  • 5/5 Eric P. 2 years ago on Google
I first came here over a decade ago, and while it's slightly less of a "party atmosphere," the quality has remained while the detailed education and tasting experience has only improved. This is a MUST stop if you're interested in spirits of any kind - they have something for everyone and the tour is great. Plus, after the tour, it's open bar for trying or re-tasting any of their spirits. Don't skip Seven Fathoms - the delicious rum that tastes more like a bourbon. They also have an incredible coffee liqueur, along with amaretto, blackberry liqueur, etc. Of their staple rums, the dark rum is a perfect balance of classic rum flavor and molasses sweetness, with a nice hint of smoke. Try them all and see what works for you. It's the Caymans, so nothing is "cheap," but their bottles are a much better bang for your buck than you'll find anywhere else.

  • 5/5 Rachael D. 2 years ago on Google
Always fun to go on a distillery tour. You can get the seven fathoms at duty free, the others are not available at the airport.

  • 5/5 Daniel H. 2 years ago on Google
If you’re on Grand Cayman, come visit Cayman Spirits! No huge Bacardi-style stills here…all done in small batches. Misko, is a character and will show you the ropes of distilling and their small-batch operation and of course—let you taste their labors! Absolutely worth a trip!

  • 5/5 Lydia N. 1 year ago on Google
We signed up for the tour and tasting online. The tasting was first and then we did the tour. Misko was awesome and entertaining. Overall it lasted around an hour and a half. We didn't mind because we were having a good time and we were going to have to find somewhere to kill time before our dinner reservation if it had only lasted 45 minutes. The rum was delicious, we came home with 8 bottles for us and gifts :)

  • 5/5 Bryan B. 2 years ago on Google
Awesome Rum and great experience to see how this distillery runs. We left with 4 bottles to take home with us. Buy tickets directly from the website to save you money.

Amazing experience and our guide was great!! So fun trying so many flavors of rum (they were all the best rum I have ever had) and seeing the whole process. If not touring, definitely recommend buying a bottle!
