Beach

👍👍 Great beach with nice near shore snorkeling, to find a big coral with lots of fish, go left as u enter the beach and stop as soon as u hit the first house, swim straight out from there and you’ll find the big coral block. Finding sea turtle here is a bit of a hit and miss although we were lucky that... People often mention turtles, beach, water, snorkeling, shade, good, spot, Nice, grass, Great,

Awesome beach and turtles were all over!! Go left of the pier, then about 30-40 feet off the shore (if that) and there were at least 4 sea turtles feeding in the sea grass. Current was decent but surges were strong. Definitely recommended for strong swimmers only! Bring snorkel equipment, water, and a wide open eyes to see what you can see! You will have fun!

Great beach with nice near shore snorkeling, to find a big coral with lots of fish, go left as u enter the beach and stop as soon as u hit the first house, swim straight out from there and you’ll find the big coral block. Finding sea turtle here is a bit of a hit and miss although we were lucky that we saw one during our first time here and we didn’t even come at a time that we’re suppose to for a higher chance of seeing them (4-6pm when they come to feed on a sea grass). The second time here we were lucky to see a stingray. Don’t forget to take some bread with you to feed the fish.

We came here more than once. The crowd was a mix of local and tourist, but all laid back and relaxed. There are a number of chickens you can make friends with. You have a good sand beach with enough length for a decent walk. There were people snorkeling and yes, there was turtle and other creatures. The water was a bit rough for relaxed snorkeling though. Like most places here, there was a mix of sand areas and rocky/grassy areas under the water, but very clear. We swam here quite a bit and had no issue. Parking was a breeze with plenty of spaces. There was a Porta-Potty. A large gazebo and a few tables. Plenty of shade here, we had no issue.

Bring snorkeling gear. Not a ton of fish to see but we saw multiple turtles every visit. Bathtub-warm, crystal clear water. Soft sand, lots of shade. Never overcrowded. Lovely!

This is a popular local public beach for spotting sea turtles. There is a small dock but the only restroom is a port-a-potty. There are some covered areas and several trees which people would hang out for shade. There is plenty of parking and the area is easy to access. The water is not too deep until you get way our toward the breakers. With water about 6-12 feet deep with a grass bottom the area is prime for turtles, however the day we were there we saw no turtles or anything. There was a couple there that said they swam with a turtle for about two hours the previous day, so it is a hit or miss with no guarantee of seeing turtles. If you are there it is worth a quick stop.

Great place to go snorkeling and see wild sea turtles. Snorkel gear is not strictly necessary to see the turtles, but it's helpful. Beautiful little beach. Not as busy as Smiths cove. Great palm trees that you can throw a towel under and fall asleep. The only bathroom facility is porta-potty.

A nice little beach off the beaten path (sort of). There are turtles here but you have to come at the right time to see them; typically in the morning. It's well shaded here with benches, so you won't be forced to stay in the hot sun the whole time. There's also a small pier/dock area that you can utilize.

not sure if this beach is "popular" but i highly recommend it. it is small but it has parking, a tad bit of palm trees giving shade if youre lucky enough to get a good spot but the best part is that there is ample parking here.

Bring your snorkel gear and some sandwiches.... great place to see marine life. Swimming with the sea turtles is amazing. Remember to clean up after yourself, as always and keep this place amazing for the wildlife!!

You won't find any coral here but the sea grass extends out 75 feet from shore and makes this one of the best places on the island to see turtles and stingrays in shallow water. I would recommend making this your first stop in the morning and checking the wind report before committing to the drive. Wind picks up around 11am and can create breakers, clouding the water and making snorkeling more challenging. Parking lot has plenty of spaces.

Turtles sporting 10/10!!! Quiet chill beach, not crowded at all. Though there's a lot of sea grass in the water, making it not the easiest to swim and walk in water, this attracts lots of fish and TURTLES!! 🐢🐢🐢 **Please do not disturb them.** I recommend packing your snorkels and fins. The water is shallow for a long patch, staying around 5 to 6 ft (~150-170cm) all the way out at least half mile (800m) out! There weren't a lot of waves when we visited. Parking very available.

It turn out to be very disappointing. Not because of its natural beauty but because of the most dangerous predator on earth: People! What could be a heaven turn out to be an outdoor trash bin. This is a place where turtles go to nest, where corals are marine life habitats but instead it is full of plastic and other debris. Plastic bottles, lighters, crocs, plastic spoons, straws, you name it. Not to mention the tiny plastics that you find on the sand and in the water which will end up inside fishes and turtles. Besides this, which doesn't seem very important to most of the visitors, there is a parking lot, 1 portable wc, and a pic nic area. I hope local authorities have the initiative to start to clean the area or do something about it.

Nice beach, with picnic tables, ample parking, and plenty of shade. We didn't see turtles though, even though we snorkeled for quite a bit. The other people didn't see them neither. So seems like a hit or miss. If not for turtles, we wouldn't go there, as 7 mile beach is just as nice, but with less shade.

Nice beach to Watch the sunrise! Very relaxing. Just make sure you bring bug spray and don’t be surprised when you see chickens on the beach.

A beach where you WILL see turtles! 🐢 They apparently like to come in the morning to graze on the grass. You can snorkel here but the 2 days we went, the ocean wad very rough and windy. On the 2nd morning we saw a big turtle pop his head up many times. We also were lucky to have caught a lady drumming and chanting to the ocean...

Swam here one evening in our trip to Caymen islands. We didn’t see turtles but the beach was fantastic. Children were playing at the end of the dock. Couples were walking the beach. 5/5 stars.

Very good snorkeling inside the reef. Relatively shallow water. Regular turtle sightings eating the seagrass. Current strong so need to be a confident swimmer.

Nice and less crowded beach as many have said. Sea Turtles? Probably there, but we didnt see any any snorkeling around midday. Maybe need to come morning or early evening?

This is the right place to see turtles, but they are not easy to spot. Personally I didn't find one, but others did

Nice place to spot some turtles. Current can be a bit strong and turtles can swim fast so best you’re a good swimmer. Not a lot of room for just swimming off shore as there are a lot of grass areas close to shore but it’s beautiful overall. We went twice and saw turtles twice, but we snorkeled for quite a while. Tables at beach and parking was easy. Great spot to stop at while in the island.

Really great public beach about 20 minutes from the Seven Mile beach strip. Very easy to spot sea turtles not too far out in the water when snorkeling. There is a lot of sea grass

Heard a lot of great things about this beach so we had to check it out. We went in the afternoon and the water was a tad rough and we didn't see any sea turtles. Probably should try it again in the morning or right before sunset.

Absolutely lovely beach. Very calm with plenty of shade under palm trees. Also is not very deep for a good 500 m.
