First the good points. There are actually not many places that you can sit 'Al fresco' and people watch while having a cold beer. This is one of them. The sitting is quite comfortable and the beer is fairly priced for this kind of location. I liked my beer which came cold and tasted good. As for the food, the aglio olio was delicious. The oil, the spice, the salt was well proportioned. The portion was filling too. However, do not order the pork chop. Everything that a pork chop shouldn't be, this had it. It was dry, it was tough, and most of all the meat was tasteless. The only saving grace, if you can call it that, was that the pork chop size was very generous. Another redeeming factor is that the waiters are efficient. But I guess you just got to be careful what food you order.

Got many beers, liquor and light food. Many type, brand, of non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks. Wide range of good and smooth beers and great time for a drink with family and friends.

Great service, great beer. The fish and chip comes with great batter but average fish in my opinion. Price for beers are reasonable too. The environment here is comfortable and good for casual meetings and conversations with friends and family

Western Food at an affordable price in gurney paragon. Service was good, and the restaurant has a good location. If you like the view of gurney drive and cool beach wind, they have nice outdoor tables. Food quality is only normal. But they have a good collection of beer.

Very nice inside and outside. The staff was nice. Informed us on happy hour deals. Went on a Friday evening not so busy. We had came by prior on a Saturday night and they were fully booked good to come before the rush comes or make a reservation. Ordered mushroom soap the bread bowl was nice to dip in soap. French onion soap had good flavor the bread had a nice caramelized cheese on top. The fish & chips were good the batter did taste a little sweet to me. Good thick fries 🍟

This place was ok. PlThe mushroom soup was the best thing there aside from the connors, I wish they would have had the blue Chimay because that is my favorite. But it was a nice relaxing experience with my fiancé outside enjoying a nice date. The fish and chips was not to my liking but I appreciate the staff and how efficient they were. Thank you.

Its a beer place. Not really a food place. The beer selection is amazing and the ambience is lovely. The food is okay but like i said, its a beer place first. This was my first time drinking Stella Artois and man i love it.

It's probably the only bistro/restaurant in Penang island that I know of that serves air-flown live mussels which are so fresh and juicy. The live mussels arrive only on every Friday, served till weekends while limited stocks last.They are cooked in a few styles (one of which is cooked with white wine, another one has bacon and tomatoes in the soup), and are served with side breads and fries. Everytime I visit Brussels Beer I must order two different mussels cooking, and accompany them with Stella Artois beers. One serving is good for one person's dinner portion. The mussels soup is delicious. Once you try the live mussels, you will forget about the frozen ones!

Great choice of delicious beers. There is ample seating available both inside and outside. The pricing is fair. The food is also nice & reasonably priced. The staff are efficient and communicate well. The only downfall is the high chairs at the barrel tables are timber and not very comfortable. However, overall we like relaxing here with an ice cold delicious beer & people watching.

Good environment, friendly staff. If the weather is bad, almost raining then I suggest sit inside the restaurant. Alot of different type beer that can choose. Happy hours 3 pints for Rm60 Horgaarden rosee very recommend and another I forget the name but I remember is the most expensive one. The pork schnitzel is so so only. Very recommends the chicken skewer.

Nice place to spend evenings with a good ambience. Both beverages and eatables are little bit expensive and there is not much variance with price during normal and happy hours. Tried Hoegaarden rose which seems good along with side dishes.

Came here for their weekly lunch special. One of the female staff her name is Varuni was provided an amazing service with a great attitude ! Even the food was decent at a low cost !But I'll definitely come back for their amazing service. Keep it up with your great attitude, varuni!

Had dinner on weekend, the place was not crowded. Ordered pork knuckles and mussels to share. Food is good, and service is fast.

A disgrace for belgian beer. Orderd two Stella beers. It tasted really bad. I went to see at the bar what the reason could be and discovered they keep not finished beers in their fridge, and later probably fill these half beers up to a full glass. Tried to find a contact for the head office of Malaysia (the bar is part of a chain) to explain my complaint, but did not find how to contact them. Therefore this review.

I read the reviews after going. People like this place for its quietness and no crowds. But there might be a reason why its not crowded. Sevice was slow. Fish and chips was good but my spouse ate half of it because she did not get hers served till 30 minutes later. Not serving at the same time is not good. Requested for lemons but it came after the fish were all eaten. The beer was good. Dont order beef because it has to be defrosted. Not recommended.

It was the second time coming. We literally enjoy the beer and the liquor. Even the foods here taste delicious especially Jalapeño Poppers.

Ordered a pesto pasta, a sausage and Hoegarden rose beer for myself. The pasta was good, but sausage and beer were a little off. Thumbs up for making sure the SOP is followed closely!

Must try their ribeye.. so tender and juicy! Definitely will come back again.
