Woww very cool ambiance! Staff are friendly and helpful. I'm just having my shisha. The happy hour beer promo is on daily. I'm having a great time while enjoying my shisha. Unfortunately i haven't try their food. I will definitely come back again to try their food. Highly recommended.

It’s a cool bar, I like the decorations and everything else, they made good shisha, drinks was okay and the service was awesome! No wonder this place was always busy! If we go back to Penang some day we definitely will be back!

A modern bar on Chulia Street. The beer comes cold and there is a happy hour. Prices are in the range for the street. The service is good and friendly and the crowd is of mixed ages. There is a big smoking table area for those who need that. It is a good place for watching life go by. I did not try the food but it looked good and seemed popular. Worth a visit.

Decent happy hour prices, was the busiest bar on the street, that's always a good sign. Server doesn't seem that happy, but he gets the job done. Good music playing in the background, so stayed for a few and then moved on.

Just the place in George Town to cool off with a chilled bottle of Tiger 🍺 @ 9.90 net. Good Fish & Chips, but for the price, the portion of fish should be increased. The server from Kashmir possesses great skills to attract punters walking by. There are other places on Chulia St & Love Lane for a refreshing beer, but this is our favourite haunt. Ambiance is eclectic Caribbean meets Hong Kong.

We stopped here 3 times for HH during our 5 days in Georgetown. Cheap beer, nice atmosphere and we loved to hear all the eighties and nineties songs that were long forgotten ! It was fun sitting on the patio watching the world go by (or the hustle and bustle of Chulia Street in this case). Fast service and very nice manager.

Great bar center of Georgetown, surrounded by a few other bars too. Friendly staff, cold beer, and lots of big screens for sport!

Felis the owner is wonderful: so friendly and helpful! Her daughter mixes excellent cocktails with top ingredients, no cheap alcohol only the real brand names. And they have fresh Guinness on tap!

We were here for a few cold beers and and a bit of lunch. They did not disappoint.. Happy hour is just about all day. I would NOT recommend the Guineess.... I will recommend the rest of the lagers on the Happy Hour menu. Great place. Sometimes referred too as MONKEY BAR I suppose because of the tables they have, which I assume would have been bought from the original Monkey Bar which shows on google as permanently closed.

Came to know this place by accident and turn out great. The best quick happy hour ever! Ice cold beer, cocktail really good. Highly recommended place to hang out when your in Penang! Thanks to the owner for being friendly and accommodating. Cheers guys...

Such a fun place and met up with fellow travellers to play pool and drink many very cold beers. What's not to like!

Showed the FA Cup final between United and City, many screens for clear viewing and played the audio so you could hear the game properly 👍 Good sports pub/ bar. Cheapest beer was the Tiger Crystal at RM9.90, cocktails are a reasonable RM35. They also offered shisa as the table next to us got 2 - not sure of pricing. Naturally cup final is a busy day so service was a bit slow but to be expected. There's even free WiFi if you manage to catch a less busy waiter for the password. Even with only one female and one male bathroom, I luckily never had to wait for it. Most tables are seated with stools with plastic tables and chairs on the street for extra capacity (not covered if it rains though).

This bar was our go-to while staying in Penang! The owner was so kind. We wanted to watch the super bowl at 7:30 in the morning. Although he closes at 3 am and doesn't normally open till the afternoon, he said he would open the bar JUST for us! We appreciated this so much. Great beer too! Thank you tons for the wonderful experience in Penang!

Good place to have dine and drinks. Kitchen there muslim friendly. Highly recorded to try beef steak 👌good quality meat and fried nicely by my request. Grilled prawn pasta simply delicious.

Been to Brew a few times this year. State of Origin Rugby League,Melbourne Cup day and the World Cup were just 3 of the times we went there. I quite enjoy sitting outside with a cold Tiger beer just watching the world go by in Chulia St. The food there is pretty good for pub food. Depending on how much you drink, you can spend a little...or a lot

We really enjoyed our “special hour” here, during this time (2-7pm) they have cocktails and beer on happy hour. The cocktails were made so well and with a lot of passion. The owner is also so kind, thank you for a lovely time!

Very comfortable and nice place to hang out. Live football, pool table, darts and good food. Best sports bar in Georgetown.

Watched the rugby quarterfinals at the bar. Staff were friendly and the atmosphere was good for watching sports. Food menu a little limited but the chicken wings were good and plentiful.

Great place but what really sets this place apart is the server named Mohin. Amazing personality and have never seen anyone work harder. Very friendly and very attentive. The brew is very lucky to have him. I will be back.

The brew sports bar reminds me on any other sports bar in a red light district in south east Asia. I actually felt like I was at Bangkok, Pattaya or Angeles city while I was having my beer here. Price wise, it's average. There's a tout outside shouting to get people to come in

Absolute good vibes here. Great playlist, awesome spot to watch the afternoon go by, free pool table, sports on the tv, cheap cold beer 🍻 and legendary service from Mohin and the team, very calm, friendly and attentive. Been everyday since we arrived in George town 🙏

Great little bar, lots of teles with a good variety of sports. Staff all very friendly and welcoming, and happy hour running from 5pm until 7pm. Walls decorated with electric guitars which is a really cool touch. Would highly recommend!

Worst. Rude Staff. Wants you to keep buying drinks. If you stop, they kick you out. Our friend didn’t feel like drinking and they kicked him out even though everyone else on our table had drinks. I’ll never support rude bars like these. Zero Star Rating

First visit stopped by for a quick drink only. Recommended by a friend. Did not try the food yet. From the menu the food variety is wide from snacks to main dishes. Shall try to experience indoor next time.

Very good draft cold beers. Go there for happy hour. We met several nice local person that were very helpful and nice. You also have a pool table and the rule here is the winner stays so get prepared to play against a local serious player. Really good fun.

Had a great couple of hours here the beer is cold and the surroundings are nicely decorated, the boss Howie has done a great job with the décor. The toilets are clean and tidy, with toilet roll, (which isn’t always available in some bars in the area), there is a pool table available, we had some bar snacks fish and chips and they were good. All in all a great place.

Had a lovely time here, great pool table and drinks. The owners and staff were outstanding, even gave us a free shot just because. There's a large screen for sports which is really useful, and the staff are very accommodating with anything you wish to put on. I wish them all the best!

Comfortable, very pubby like we used to have back then. Music was just the right volume and prices are reasonable. They do have a nice Western food menu and snacks too. Give it a try.
