The only vegetarian stall that open until late night. Came here because the waze brought us to find vegan stall. We had falafel and less sugar redBul, nice combination since we aren’t drink alcohol 😚

A really cool little bar, it is vibrant and popular. Sat on the street on graffiti tables, watch the sights go by. But the important stuff. Little street vendor selling Falafels, great, menu great, prices good. Will I come back, yes ;-) Enjoy

Nice little dive bar on Chulia street. The craft beer is expensive I would stick to the regular local brews. Music was good as you might expect

Really strange waiter that forced me to get a drink even though I stated twice that I didn't want to. Apparently to order food and sit down you have to order a drink. Literally my first time encountering a situation like that. The falafel was really good but I won't come back because of the bad service

Netty. Was. Here. Twice! Not only do the fellas out front cook an amazing falafel! Smell is amazing! But this place is very accommodating to travellers looking for a place to drink and relax. Charcoal will make sure the good vibes are welcome.

A good place for Bob Marley lovers. The owner is kind enough to spend some time with guests and recommend the drinks too. Nice beer collections.

We had a great lunch today. We had the Arabic plate, the falafel wrap and vegan chicken wrap. All of the food was amazing, very fresh, great textured falafels and the humus was tasty. Great prices and friendly service.

The worst place you could ever go, they sell very bad alcohol, we went there and order captain morgan the cheapest of all rums, he looked at us and told us for premium spirits we should order a bottle and instead served us a blackmarket rum trash . worst place in town 👎 also we all got sick from their alcohol but honestly more sick from the owners attitude. Avoid and by the way taking the reggae name in shame, just trying to rip people off, The flafel is good but don’t drink there

(Translated by Google) When I headed to the restaurant for dinner, I happened to find vegetarian characters and entered it. Order Falafel Wrap 10RM. This is so delicious! It was delicious because it seemed delicious, which seemed to be fried chicken of soy meat inside, so it was chick pea when asked to your older sister in the shop. My wife liked it very much. I think that I go to eat regularly if I am nearby. I also want to eat it when I come to Penang.

Very nice place. Smoked hookah. Prices are expensive for Penang, but average for the tourist area. Good atmosphere and good live band, so least the night we were there. Nice couch to sit on and people watch.

We sat there and woke up back to the opposite bar because it was a little dirty, smell of oil and nobody attended us to order. And no songs on the day I went. It used to be an entertaining bar full of good vibes. Come on guys! You can do better. Also the falafel stall there changed management. The size of food went smaller with same price. Taste was not the same as before. Sigh. Pity.

Good falafel. 10 for a reg size or 15 for what they call a double. Free drinks for the ladies from 6-8. Either a vodka sprite or a rum and coke. Small size but atleast its free.

It's a scam. Advertise free drink 5pm-8pm for ladies. Was told rum and coke or rum and lemonade was the drink on offer and then was made to pay at the end and was very expensive compared to other local bars. Good music.

Came for the falafels, which were very good. But the waiter in the reggae bar was odd and unfriendly. We moved to the outside seats to get away from him.

Good falafel, humus and other middle eastern food. Drinkable Australian red wine available too. Met the charismatic owner and felt welcomed and two friendly locals distressing on whisky shots.

Really disappointed after looking forward to visiting this place on my trip. The main waiter is extremely pushy and rude. Gave me the check and nagged me to pay when I was only half way through drinks and food (said it was because some customers leave without paying). I couldnt hear any music (let alone reggae music) over the traffic and food stall. No inside seating that I could see. No soap in the bathroom. Food is takeaway only unless you get a drink. I asked which was the safest way for me to walk home alone and he was not interested in even trying to understand my question once I'd payed. The food is delicious, though!! Definitely recommend for vegan travellers.

Food is horrible/overpriced and employees incredibly rude. Ripping off Bob Marley/reggae theme for profit and doesn’t even play reggae music. Much better places in Georgetown than this dump.

Avoid this place at all cost! The owner is a scam artist. He said he will make my 2nd cocktail strong, but charged me double for it even if I didn't ask for double. Then brought out a "Bl0wj0b" cocktail and said someone ordered it but cancelled so he gave it to me and charged me for it too! Hope the locals here will somehow find a way to shut down this place.

Cool reggea bar near love lane. But for some reason the spot we were sitting smelled like pee horribly . So bad that was had to relocate and sit in another area. On the up side ladies drink free rum coke or vodka sprite from 6 to 8 pm. Also we met some nice locals here and had a good time . They dont sell spliffs which was a let down for a reggea bar. But all in all I might come back and just sit outside and watch the street .

Great bar. The owner Paul was friendly and the DJ gave us a notepad to write down whatever songs we wanted and he played them all. Beer was reasonably priced too.

Interesting concept, a reggae bar, with vegetarian falafel and food, Arab food, good music and vibe: Total: RM42 - Falafel Plate - Veggie Soup - Samosas Plate - French Fries - Coke - Water Friendly staff and food presentation, taste is also great.

Best falafel I’ve ever had, including my meals in Greece. Pizza from the restaurant is also good, a thick crust. Ladies drink free on the night we were there so my wife and 3 daughters were taken care of.

  • 1/5 Kishor P. 4 years ago on Google
They take 1 hour to make the shisha. Another hour to make their charcoal. And to replace the charcoal that finished takes another hour. They make you order your beer and shisha first and then let you know that the kitchen is closed to make food so its awkward to leave the bar. It may not be intentional but felt like i was scammed my money. They even made me pay first without anything arriving. Seriously, not sure if thats how you run your bar everyday. If you do, time to close yeah? I was there on the 29th december 2019. They wasted my time and money.

(Translated by Google) Undoubtedly, the highlight of the place is the delicious falafel they sell, both in wrap and at the plate for 10 ringgits (about 2 dollars) they offer you a very good portion to be well satisfied. The menu also has pizza and some other things. The staff is wonderful, they serve you super well in a friendly way and always with a smile. Between 6 and 8 PM the girls receive free drinks. Highly recommended!

We were in Georgetown just for two nights and came here for both. We never tried the food but the cocktails were great, strong, cheap and a great selection. Music was always perfect and a special shout out to James Brown who made us feel so welcome and comfortable (hope to see you again friend!!)
