Had a dinner during the CNY break at The Loft - Love Lane as it was nearby E&O Hotel where I was staying. The Google reviews convinced me to give it a shot, plus I was craving for a pizza! 😃 The ambience of the restaurant is nice. It’s busy, lots of people catching up, which was great. It’s a perfect location for friends and family gatherings. I was a bit disappointed with their pizza. It was nothing to brag about. The taste was average - I felt like some spicy or an extra kick was missing. Maybe if the chef used a stronger cheese, the taste would be much better. Now it was a bit blunt. I ordered The Loft Specialty Pizza. The Clam Chowder soup, on the other hand, was really yummy! Loved everyone spoon of it and even ate the whole sourdough bread that it came in. 😆 The sourdough bread was really nice and well complimented the creamy soup. Overall a nice place. I would consider coming back again next time I’m in Penang, especially for the soup! 😍

Love the cozy ambience here with the bar/oven setup in the middle of the restaurant. Pizza is nice, drinks are a little too expensive though. Raw oysters are good and they have a wide selection of wine too but pick your own, not advisable to ask for recommendation.

Nice environment. A bit short of staffs but overall the service is consider pleasant and food was tasty and I enjoyed the dinner very much. Mushroom soup with bread taste good, 4season pizza was flavourful with a crunchy crust. Their seafood spaghetti looks great but taste a bit bland maybe because the mussel is not as fresh. Overall good dining experience. Price is slightly above average and who cares about money if you had a amazing dinner out with loves one.

It is a wonderful place with a variety of pizzas. They have an option for other food items as well. Food is tasty and served promptly as well. The servers are very friendly and always ready to help the customers. The place has a good flow of customers. Having said that, the sitting arrangements are very spacious. They serve many types of alcoholic beverages. The payment can be made via card or cash. Parking is an issue. We need to park around 100 to 200 m away from the location.

Nice restaurant ambient. It has a pizza stove in the middle of the restaurant. Pizza is nice. Clam chowder does not have clam in the soup. Tiramisu cake is good. Overall menu a bit pricey.

The Loft at Love Lane is a pretty happening restaurant with great food and ambience. Overall service is fast, food taste is pretty good, great place to hang out. This is what we tried: 1) clam chowder soup - the soup is pretty good and creamy but a bit salty, you need to dip it with the sour dough to balance it up 2) the loft chicken - grilled chicken is juicy with char grill taste, the sauce with it was ok, also served with vege and potato 3) tiramisu - taste was ok, a bit moist, it would be better if the cream layer is less solid Overall good place for meal with good ambience, surrounding street is very lively. Will try their pizza next time.

Enjoyed my time here for dinner. Was craving beef steak for dinner and found it here. Only one option for the beef steak, it was big and made 2 adults full (also ordered grilled octopus). But the beef wasn’t the best steak, it was just okay. Would come back to try the pizza.

The drinks are cheaper during happy hour, doesn't have any silly packages for happy hour. The pizza Agnello is delicious light and tasty. Ordered oysters as well, la natural, also very fresh and delicious. Very good and attentive customer service. Particularly a waiter, Tazwinder, full on with his customer service friendly, attentive and good sense of humor. Made us feel comfortable and at ease. A good talent to retain I guess.

The place is nice to hangout with friends and have a couple drinks. It is a little pricey but it has a nice environment. The staffs there was also friendly.

The Loft is known for its good food, and one dish that stands out is the Spaghetti Bolognese. It is packed with delicious flavors that will leave your taste buds satisfied. I highly recommend this dish to anyone who loves a hearty and flavorful pasta. However, I must mention that the pizza with salmon didn't quite meet my expectations. The crust was disappointingly hard as a rock, and I believe the restaurant should work on improving it. On a positive note, the manager and his staff were exceptional. They were kind, respectful, and extremely knowledgeable about the menu.

The food at this restaurant was good and the waiter was friendly. The pizza was probably not the best I've ever had, but it was definitely one of the best. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family. The prices were reasonable and the service was fast. The atmosphere was pleasant and the staff made us feel welcome. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience, and I would definitely go back.

Do not open the water bottle at the table, I misunderstood that it was normal mineral water. The bottle was actually imported mineral water. I was disappointed with the waiter and din't speak English well. Sst6% and service charge 10%

Nice environment & good food. I visited here after lunch, just ordered some desserts. The Tiramisu with Kahlua is nice. Next time I will visit again for lunch or dinner as the wood fire pizza seems like very delicious.

Environment was creepy and dark. Food wise 3/5. Abit pricey for the quantity given. Pasta was al dente👌but abit bland would be great if added more seasoning same goes to octopus. Octopus was cooked well, springy maybe from frozen. Salad was fresh, almonds were toasted perfecly. Pizza and clam chowder was ok, clam chowder has no clam and bread dont think it was sourdough. Feels like it was microwaved. Dessert nothing special, not too sweet which was great. Weird place🙃

The place was crowded, remember to make your reservation when visit. I tried their signature loft pizza, clam chowder and an appetiser octopus. The food was disappointing. The loft pizza taste a bit bitter I'm not sure why. The clam chowder was tasty however it didn't go well with the sourdough. The bread eventually absorbed the soup and the dish became soggy and pulpy. The octopus was undelightful, the size was copped too big so it was hard to chew on. So the whole eating experience was unpleasant.

Pizza, food and drinks were great! Service was very disappointing though. Fresh oysters took them unusually long to prepare. There were any staffs around but none was helping to replenish our wine or attend to us when we raise our hand. They were more interested chatting amongst themselves rather than providing service.

Great woodfire pizzas! I went for tea here two nights in a row after having grilled chicken meal which was delicious. The next night I tried their margarita pizza which they arranged to deliver to me👌. The staff were so welcoming, and kind. A great atmosphere and good for families.

The best tiramisu I’ve ever had in life!!!! And everyone of them were super friendly and sweet, they greeted and talked to their customers just like friends. Ambiance was amazing as well, not too noisy nor loud. Would defo come back again!

Wanted to try this place for a very long time but do not have the chance to. Great place and scrumptious food. Especially their pizza. All the dishes we ordered are beyond our expectations. They are very generous on the chilli flakes and Tabasco. They will put a bottle of each for u to add in your pizza and dishes 😛. I’m not a fan of pizza but this is a must try. Suitable for small and big group of people. Parking along the road but limited only. It would be an issue if during peak hours. They even have another outlet in gurney plaza right beside guacamole restaurant. Super pizzeria with great wood fired pizza oven. My wife had a cinque formaggi pizza and devoured it. The base was thin and crispy, the topping so tasty. I love a good pizza but on this occasion fancied a lasagna. It was good but not great. I have had better, but it ticked a box. We had a jug of cold Tiger beer to wash it down. Total MR 155. I will return to try a pizza for sure. Service was a little sporadic, but it is a busy place.

We tried the Loft on our first evening in George Town. The Loft is a modern pub styled Restaurant design. It’s very suitable for the area. The staff is friendly and helpful. The Pizzas were very good and tasty but the grilled vegetables were not fresh and full of oil and vinegar. One of our favorite place for pizza and pasta. Cozy environment and friendly staff, and pizza is fantastic. we love their tiramisu. The mushroom soup served in sourdough is interesting.

First of all, hands down to one of the best italian restaurant in town. Every dish we ordered was splendid, both taste and presentation. The four season pizza is definitely the must try pizza here, it was super cheesy and flavourful. This place requires table reservation as the place gets crowded. Service here was top notch, the restaurant manager was kind enough to ask for feedbacks. I will definitely revisit this place for another ocassion.

They were fully booked but managed to get us a table inside as we had two children with us. Wood fired pizza was as good as expected. Ordered the banana foster for dessert as recommended and was not disappointed.

Very good experience having my dinner there. Internal design is mainly wooden table and leather bar stools with a traditional pizza oven as the signature at the bar counter. Good service. Price is reasonable. Food is nice. I tried the Italian pizza. So good cause its a wood fired oven made. Crispy thin crust with nice topping. The other is a grilled chicken..so tender and juicy. Food is served in a short time. However parking is a little difficult to find in Love Lane.

I love this place! Fantastic food and I really like the overall ambience, food and service. Will come again. The pizza crusts were thin and crispy . Also had the clam chowder that was served in a nice bread bowl. Recommended! 👍
