Decent market for your typical night market fare. Lots of different food to choose from, we found a great stall for some apom of different flavours, as well as tried some meat skewers. Recommended for a short visit. Check out our channel for a full review of our experience: Hungry Two Travel.

A Monday only night market with the usual streetfood and small tourist items for Sale. The food selection is good but as a tourist there is nowhere to sit and eat so inconvenient. If you want to grab and go it's perfect.

Good night night market. Got there early at 5 thinking nothing is open yet but plenty already open. At 6 everything was open. Have walk around first ti fiigure out what you want to eat first. There are a few duplicates but price is similar. Good selection of food from Thai, Indian to Malay. Lots of drink and dessert places too. Very similar to other night markets but this one is one a street and wraps around the block on both sides. There is a good small area for sitting to eat in about the middle of the food stalls so get your food and have a seat. The prices are decent and lines are not too long. There is clothes and other misc household things are the two side ends. For drinks check around as prices very from place to place. Plenty of good deals to be had.

Purposely scheduled the itinerary to include this location, which is Monday only. And oh boy, I am liking the vibes here. Food, drinks and stalls here have very old schooled Pasar Malam feel, something we no longer get to experience in Singapore.

Very long monday night market. Spotted a few repeated stalls from other night markets here in penang. This night market is probably about 200m long. Many food options ranging from ice blended drinks to sushi to local delights such as char koay kak. There are also many apparels sold here so if you need a cheap clothing or a pair of slippers/shoes. Do drop by for a quick visit.

This place is quite big, spent about 1.5 hour here including snacking and walking around just to check things out. Very lively place. Downside, it’s just beside the road and some stalls doesn’t cover their food, which is quite unhygienic, but most people are used to it. Another thing is the walking around is quite dangerous as well, cars and motors are zooming by all the time. But still a nice place.

Good for buying food stuff, varieties ok. Not overly crowded. The Asam Laksa stall is pretty decent, love the fried mushroom at the junction. The pork satay pairs very well with its green chili sauce, love it, it's the stall that sells curry fish ball. The pork burger was a let down.

Nothing much... Not many stalls. The pathway is too narrow.

We went on 4 July Monday at 715pm. Mainly food/dessert/drink stalls. Not much to see or do. Not a genuine night market. Some stalls selling the same stuff. Probably needs 1-2 years to grow and expand again.

Lots of options for food and most of them are quite decent, prices are reasonable too. Not a huge market but it will surely fill your stomach.

Sizable night market with food you won't necessarily find at the daily hawker centers, like small fried crabs and specialty cakes.

Yummu and cheap! There is authentic food like penang laksa, lok lok, char kuay teow, and also trendy food like burgers, takoyaki, and gelato! All of them are super cheap around areoun 6 to 8MYR. The penang laksa had chewy thick noodles with their iconic mint leaves, pineapple chunks, and onions. I find their soup a bit too watery and without fish, but still delicious! The prawn paste chicken stall (har cheong gai) has fried foods like friend chicken skin and small crabs. The crabs are okok, quite crunchy and thick shell, not really soft shell crab. Chicken chunks were juicy with that heavy smokey har geong taste. Lor mee was yummy too, with a hint of vinegar in their thickened gravy. The street is narrow and hard to walk, especially for us when it rained on and off. Nonetheless definitely worth to check out!

The place was too crowded and the shops were so close to each other with no room to walk and you have to be bumping into each other. When some shops get crowded and people start to queue the whole process of walking gets tough. They food is nothing great just the basic stuff but the price is quite high for night market standards.

This night market provides good foods, but the location is not too strategic for people staying in the middle of Georgetown. Still need to walk a lot even after taking a bus (according to google), so we just walked around 2km there πŸ˜‚ Also don't forget that it's only opens on Mondays. You can try other night markets that have different locations every single day, or just go to Kimberley street for the night market. But i found this one has better food choices. Recommended to try if you are visiting Penang on Mondays

All the local penang food gather at this night market. We tried the assam laksa(not too sour, just nice), oyster omelette(too oily), fried careot cake(got wok hei). There are stalls that sell taiwan sausages with many flavours to choose from as well as Thailand Moo Ping(pork skewers).

Quite a big night market considering that it will take about 30 mins to stroll the area without stopping to buy anything. If you eat plus buy, can spend 1-1.5 hour. Bbq chicken stick cost RM$1-3, char koay etc about RM$4 and drinks about RM$2-7. RM$20 can get you a main course, some snacks and a drink or dessert. Strongly recommend ι˜ΏθŠ±θ±†θŠ±which is nearer to the junction of Gat Lebuh Cecil 1.

Every Monday evening stalls spring up like mushrooms after the rain. It is a delightful sight and even more delightful to the stomach! Many hawker fares like the authentic old school fat PohPiah stuffed to the max, rolled and cut to bite sizes, I love that the sweet vegetarian gravy is packed separately so it’s not mushy. CharKoayKak Fried carrot cake, CharKoayTeow Fried flat noodles synonymous with Penang, colorful Bao or buns filled with meat/ vegetables, local desserts and other stalls selling overseas food. There are a few stalls selling household provisions too. A fun place to be.

Went on a rainy Monday evening 630-730pm but it was still fairly crowded. There were about 20-30 stalls. Tom’s Burgers is great. Beef patty is juicy and tasty πŸ‘πŸΌ (rm 13) Carrot cake with duck egg by the muscular man is also worth a try. (Rm 5.50) Sweet corn in a cup was also πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌ (rm 3.30) If you’re tired of food, you can head up to the nearby flats to enjoy their million dollar sea view.

This place is a whole vibe. You'll see a good assortment of food trucks and local food vendors setting up just for that night. It's chill.

Great! We brought the moachi and it tasted delicious! Sadly we were driven home by the sudden showering rain and the most of the market closed down. A good place for buy snacks, its just a small place down the road side and the place was kinda humid and hot.

Nice! Had been ordering from them a few times, the poke bowl are really yummy & nutritious as they have options for sauce made from scratch instead of only processed / bottled sauces (they have them too but it is your choice). Their drinks are seriously nice and refreshing too esp cucumber green tea, bonus point is all their food and drinks are just nice in terms of sweetness & saltiness but with more of other herbs flavoring which is so rare on this island, definitely much healthier! Highly recommended!

Lots of food stalls along the street and in the Macallum flat parking lot. As the usual pasar malam aka night market, beside food stalls, there are stalls selling clothing, accessories, chinese medicine, etc. Maybe hard to find parking as there is a lot of people frequented this night market. Best to visit it via RapidPenang bus from Komtar, around 20 min walking from komtar, ride a becca or via motorbike.

Here is selling all kind of street food, mainly grilled and fried. There are also few stalls selling drinks and local food. On top of that, there are selling accessories mainly phone’s, shirts and shoes.

Great food at great prices and an overall amazing place. Highly recommend the lok lok, fried mushroom, freshly squeezed sugarcane, satay, and soya bean. Will definitely be back again.

Reasonable pricing here on groceries and food. Parking during peak times could be a problem unless you use a bike. Plenty of food to choose from and some are quite tasty.

Typical night market which sell variety of local foods, drinks, clothings and souvenirs. Not much place to park a car. Tried the duck + BBQ pork rice. Quite delicious and cost about RM9 per pack.

This is one of the best night markets in Penang. Forget batu ferrighini night market and dont waste your time going there. Come here instead. You know itll be a good night market when its packed with locals. Huge variety of food stalls and other stalls as well. A must visit when in penang. Do note it only opens on Mondays though.

5 star for only foods, a lots foods in cheap price, but if u looking for halal foods it's limited, always be careful from moving vehicles, i saw many apartments there and mostly foreigners living there
