Small but amazing quality! Definitely worth a visit. We loved seeing the local art. The garden outside is also very minimalistic and beautiful. It’s a very nice change from the sand and heat! Clean, air conditioned and beautiful.

I came across an incredible gallery filled with art and history that many, including locals, may have forgotten. The art was diverse and the scenery was beautiful. They had many unique sculptures and artworks created by worldly artists using different mediums. The gallery offers free entry, but encourages donations. It was my favorite discovery during my vacation.

This was an amazing art museum! I’m not the biggest art lover but all of the art was really cool to look at. Plus there is no admission price and you can’t beat free entertainment!

The experience was quite pleasant. It's free to enter, which is very nice. The items on display are very limited, but nothing short of interesting.

This was part of our tour of Grand Cayman from our cruise ship. The gallery has 2 floors, large abstracts on the first, whimsical creations on the second. Take some time to enjoy the beautiful works and AC.

Lovely way to spend an hour or two admiring art. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful. The entire facility and gardens were immaculately kept. It was raining when we visited, so we didn't spend as much time in the garden. What we saw was beautiful with functional and decorative pieces. Great photo ops. No admission fee was charged, but there is a donation box to contribute to the operating expenses.

Small but impressive art gallery! Can be done in an hour or so! The lower level has exhibits that are temporary and rotating. The upper level - permanent e exhibits by Cayman Islands artists. Both are impressive. The nicest thing is that the art represents local life and history of the islands through the ages! There is a sad undercurrent of sadness brought on by development and loss of the older ways of life! Would love to recommend this to anyone. Plus it's all free!

A fantastic gallery to visit. Small but a perfect example of the incredible artists we have on the island. A variety of artists show permanent exhibits plus temporary shows as well. Also a little cafe and a beautiful garden with sculptures and a small maze. Not huge but still worth a visit. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable.

A highlight of my time on Grand Cayman. Free admission, dead quiet in the afternoon that I went, incredible pieces that provided historical context and richness to my experience on the island. Definitely worth making a stop in.

Small and cute gallery, takes 30 min to go around the whole place, has a cute gift shop as well. Highly recommend as a fun and quick thing to do while on the island and it’s FREE

I really enjoyed my visit on a Saturday morning. The panels were informative and the two temporary exhibitions were thought-provoking. I hope to experience the biennial. Thanks

Modern, spacious and full of local Caymanian artists as well as a special exhibition on rotation every few months. A great, free way (donation or/and buy something from the gift shop always welcome) to delve into Caymanian culture.

i had an amazing time and experience at this gallery. it was a great way to end my time here of over 2 months working in the cayman islands! not only does it give you a great perspective and insight into the culture and people of the cayman islands, but their exhibits are perfectly curated with flavours that can appeal to anyones taste in art, and thats how you know they care. the staff were super accommodating and welcoming. i hope that the art scene here keeps booming because there is a lot of talent and prospect at a place like this. all the different cultures and perspectives that come with that to influence. i encourage any locals and visitors of the islands to check this place out if they haven't yet. its great for families, or solo wanderers like my self. after checking out all three galleries be sure to take some time and walk in the garden out back its beautiful! thank you for your time!

The arts that is displayed is amazing. One in particular that stood out was a piece of work made with postage stamps. Looking at it carefully or through a camera lens you could very clearly see that it was a parrot. The lady working the front desk was super friendly too and made us feel very welcome. Nice job!

1st purpose built gallery in the Caribbean. The architecture is contemporary and Caymanian. Surrounded by greenery this is a great venue for anything!

  • 5/5 Deyanira H. 3 years ago on Google
Three beautiful exhibitions worthwhile seeing, I particularly enjoyed the jurassic one mainly composed of animals carved out of pieces of driftwood. Go take a look and don't forget to leave at donation as entrance is free!

National art gallery of the Cayman islands, worth a pit stop when it rains. Entrance is free and you have two floors of art to have look at as well as the gardens
