A little hidden... swarming with locals and backpackers. Good vibe. You can find cheap drinks but some are a bit high priced. (Grab the ones at the back of the fridge to get cool beer)

Spent many a day & night here...got to know the owner & his wife Annie, their son & grandkids... Don't expect a cafe, or any nice bar...nothing like that. As a matter of fact until foldaway tables & plastic chairs are setup out front on the road, only 1 seat is up there against the bar. But CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP...from 3 for 10RM beers, to 5RM Jagermeister shots, & great cheap premix drinks... it is GR8 fun, as this all attracts many a tourist & local...a busy but fun place to hang out An experience

Come for the cheap beer, stay for the conversations. I've found that the typical tourist bars are not really good to get in touch with other travelers. This place attracts people from all walks of life, and they are happy to tell their stories. There is even a restroom, although it is straight out of a horror movie.

Brilliant little drinking spot. Cheapest beer in Penang. Lots of choice and plenty of seats to sit in the street. Large Singha for 7 and small cans Tiger and Carlsberg for 6.50. It was closed for Chinese New Year for a few days but back open on 25th Jan. Closed around 11pm.

This bar is a true gem for any traveller wanting to meet locals and other travellers alike. You can grab your own chair and table next door and you are invited to join into any conversation. We met some great people and the beer was cheap!

When you visit Georgetown and you like to drink a beer this is the most cheapest place in town! Located near the tipsy tiger and love lane this is the perfect way to start a booze filled evening! You should also always show all your love to the fat dog that lives there, it might be too late soon!

Beer lovers paradise. The beer here is cheap. You get a decent selection of some good beers. Mix of locals and foreigners. Crowd starts coming in after 7pm. No food other than munchies. It's a nice place to meet people. You basically go into this shop and buy your beer, after which you choose the table where you'll be sitting to enjoy your beer. The tables and chairs are placed nearby and it's not covered. Take care if it starts to rain!

Cheapest beers of Penang and the service was nice. Sitting outside you can meet tons of people and moreover locals! Perfect place for pre party !

Excellent place to come to drink cheap imported beers and meet some really interesting other travellers. Very popular with Backpackers. Open until very late (tried closing many times and eventually got everyone to leave about 2 or 3am)
