Porridge minced meat 猪仅肉 Iced coffee 🍜 Food wise: Porridge cooked in very fragrant pork soup broth, soft and delicious rice, and big pieces of chewy minced meat. A very delicious bowl of porridge! The minced meat has depth and a nice texture. Must eat comfort food whenever visiting Penang. The iced coffee was thick, not overly sweet, and aromatic, it wasn't too milky as well, pretty good! ✨ Ambience wise: Like old school coffee shops, such nice vibes! 🤵🏻 Service wise: Great! 💵 Price wise: Porridge minced meat: 10.80 RM Iced coffee: 2.60 RM

This place is all about pork. All kinds of parts, and even brain. You can have it with noodles, rice or porridge. I personally like their thick mee hoon as they are very smooth. Highly recommend their salted vegetables soup too.

This should be a popular restaurant among the locals as the were queues on weekends Popped in for brunch - we ordered pork innards soup with vermicelli/rice/instant noodles (please note that they don’t serve yellow noodles here and discontinued the toast and eggs) All the meat were cooked to perfection especially the intestines Soup a little tad salty but not overpowering Environment is airy but not cooling so be prepared to sweat on hot sunny days

Favourite place for local and tourist. The food is nice, however the staffs are a bit slow response even though less crowded. Might they taking a break with slow mode. I love the hot bowl of pork noodles soup served with extra egg. Even in the hot day , I still ordered the same 😂😍

A popular pork noodles shop in George Town, Penang worth trying. It is difficult to find parking along the road nearby the restaurant but nowdays you can park your car safely at a proper car park nearby. They charged RM2 per hour. There are choices of different kinds of noodles and yam rice to go with your minced pork, pork balls, pork belly and pork innards. The pork soup base is still good and flavourful. Besides this, you can also have prawns and fish slices noodles. The side order of deep fried fish slices was fresh and tasty too. The coffee was nice but not the bitter type.

The place is huge and very popular with locals. You select which type of soup you want, then the type of noodles. There are also a few side options. Dishes came out quickly and with big portions. Full of flavor! Come hungry and leave satisfied. Note: Service was not the best and the place was not the cleanest but for the price and food quality, one can’t complain.

If you’re looking for non-halal comfort food, definitely must try their noodle soup. Fantastic! Their pork broth is really good. I always give a visit while I’m in Penang.

Jam packed! We were in search for dinner and we found this near armenia St. everything here is fast pace. When we arrived it was full and we got to share on one table by another person. Best pick here would be the mixed pork soup if you’re up for a very interesting combo parts of pork like the intestine, ears, tongue, liver, meatballs and of course the minced pork. Super delicious! I partnered it with rice and it was very satisfying! Drinks are good too. One star cause the uncle dont want to talk to us since we speak english and the lady demanding we order fast. We’re still looking at the menu. Understandable cause its too busy and they want to accomodate as much as they can. Would recommend this for pork lovers who love to enjoy mixed pork!

my 2nd visit after 2015, they had expanded from 1 shop to 2, when u entered the shop, it has a fragrant smell of pork soup, very 80s type of homecooked pork soup smell. - Fish soup ~ love it - MInced pork soup - slightly abit salty for my taste, also has a strong soya sauce taste - Mixed pork soup - Mixed pork sour soup - Mixed pork meesua - Tomyum soup ~ doesnt taste like the tomyum we thought, it tasted like assam soup - Deep fried chicken wings ~ very cripsy outside yet not so oily - lor bak - deep fried toufu - Ambra juice ~ if u love it, u will love it, taste "greenish" like unripe fruit, overall its thick n sourish but I love it.

Had the sour spicy noodles, it's delicious although I wanted minced pork and they gave me pork balls instead. The snacks are also not too bad .. the shrimp dumplings as well as the chicken wings. Plenty of seating in aircond hall or non air-conditioned hall. Parking can be challenging though.

We were recommended their minced pork porridge and noodles and they were so delicious! Although they look like very simple dishes, the broths were packed with so much flavors and cooked to perfection. Another plus point is the quick service provided by the eatery too. Definitely strongly recommend!

A place definitely worth trying and coming back for a good variety of famous pork parts if you dare to take up the challenge, there are other options such as fish meat and prawns too... few variety of main base to choose - porridge, vermicelli, thin or thick rice noodle and instant noodle... RM10.50 for a plain pork minced meat porridge and RM12.10 for a normal bowl which actually includes all the pork parts brain, kidney, intestines etc except pork stomach not in the list... do check it out if you are a pork lover.

My favourite porridge place in Penang. You can add various pork parts into this porridge. What I love about it is the base broth used for the porridge, which I guess must have undergone a good amount of process of cooking to achieve such flavoir. I also went for their salted veggies pork soup which was equally favourful. The Salted veggie flavour was just right and doesn't overpower the soup too much that you can actually take this without any rice. Highly recommended!

We ordered fish soup thick beehoon (with extra fishball) and minced pork meesua, also pork meatball soup at dinner time, not overcrowded but takes time for the food to come out. It's a bit hard to find creamy (white soup) fish soup in penang, so I recommend to try this, it's delicious and comforting, but the fishball was like frozen crab stick fishball 😅 so it's quite disappointing. the pork meatball was not bad and it's actually my mom's favorite.

Quick and friendly service. Easy to find seats due to quick patron turnover. Pork noodles are excellent, the pig organs are cooked to perfection. Just the right texture. Will revisit in the future. 7.5/10

I loved their soup, savory and tasty. Top it with just minced pork and egg, then you got your childhood grandma's recipe soup, delicious. The services was fast and well-organized, from order to deliver on the table, even in the crowded situation. Price wise, little high but worth the quality. Recommended.

Good porridge and soup noodles available here. Fish and pork. Unfortunately after spending MYR39 on a meal, they asked 50 sen for a small plate of garlic. Lost one star for that.

Nice, comfortable restaurant for a late afternoon lunch. We had arrived post the busy lunch hours at around 3PM and found a near-empty restaurant with only few tables occupied. Staff were prepping for the evening ahead when we arrived. Polite and quick service. We ordered the soup bowl with minced pork, liver and intestine. We paired this with the yam rice. The combo worked really well together. Meat was well cooked and tender. Soup was soothing. Mix some of the ingredients of the soup with the yam rice for a great combo. We also got the carrot juice which was surprisingly good!

Ordered the normal menu with complete toppings (kidney, tripe, intestine, liver, heart.. except brain :|) and thin noodle. To my taste, it’s tasted good, authentic. Bit pricey but worth it.. although not something really extraordinary. Spacious, only that I arrived not in lunchtime so most of the tables are not occupied. But i believe it may be quite full during meal times. The auntie served us is really nice, patient and warm to customers.. really appreciate it :)

Totally unfair to say the staff service here is bad. We were here tonight and the serving staff were the most patient and friendly. Food was good for the price and warms the stomach. The toasts are also delicious. Recommended if you like good old home cooked local food.

Revisited this place after some time. Didn’t quite like it the last visit as the pork was not fresh. This time however, was good. Even though the price for the noodles was RM13+, the minced pork and innards were abundant. To make up for the expensive food, Hon Kei put slightly more affordable prices for the drinks. I would recommended the owners to put up more AC for more comfortable dining experience. Overall, the dining in was good for this round.

If you are fan for pork spare parts, you really should enjoyed it. Pork noodles that normally is KL/ Selangor doesn't serve pig brain. Most of the parts you can get but not brain. Really good to try. Broth is yummy. I finished the whole bowl of soup. I will come again amd try their porridge.

This place sells pretty specific food and variety is quite limited. I am not referring to the toppings and content variety. I am referring to the type of soup and food variety. I remembered them having a more extensive menu pre mco. Now it looks just meh. Nothing much to shout about. You can either choose their yam rice which has two different accompanying soup. Or. You can opt for noodle soup. And they have a large variety of contents for you to add into the soup. I give them credit for the freshness of the ingredients. The offals didn't have any gamey taste and they were well cooked. This is a unique offal soup noodle and something you don't find easily. However I didn't find their soup particularly special. It was light and I felt it was a little under flavored. I would love for them to add more oomph and body to the soup, then it would be superb.

The taste of the pork broth not bad, but why the heck is the thick mee hoon and thin mee hoon so broken up into tiny pieces everytime?🤔 Ordering and payment process not very pleasant, especially during peak hour..long waiting time and need to signal and call up the waitress for ordering multiple times to get them to take your order. Might can consider cashless payment method?

We order pork noodle (猪肉面线)and spicy sour noodle (酸辣粗米粉,) the taste are not bad but there are better choice out there. Feeling a bit pricey. Food: 3.5 stars Environment : 3.5 stars Value for money: 3 stars Worth to try: stars

I was told this food corner was inherited by their parent. I would say I will definitely will come back here again. A good place for family and friends to savour tasty pork noodle, fresh fish head (also got fish paste) noodle, yam rice. They also serve toast bread (roti bakar). Recommended.

The best place for pork porridge. They serve very good thick flavourful pork porridge. They serves the porridge with all parts of pork intestines on the menu. There are also option of tofu soup and rice, fish noodle and other dishes. For drinks choices, I like their lemon juice and ampula juice with sour plum.

Soul and comfort food that's very satisfying. Famous for their pork innards thick vermicelli soup, this is a popular spot for locals and tourists alike. Spacious and airy dining area, fast service, it can get very crowded during weekends and peak hours.

Another lovely place for comfy porridge and soup noodles! Love the sour soup noodles. Appetising and super yummy! Always a must stop by at Penang whenever I visit :) After this stop, you can walk just a few shops away towards the left as you exit Hon kei, to a corner kopitiam to savour their delicious fluffy coffee! 😋

👍 Queue seemed quite long when we arrived around 2.30 pm but we only waited about 20 minutes. I think they should have more signage to tell customers what to do so the process can be easier.
