Had lunch here for two out of four days i stayed in Penang. Peaceful eatery at the corner of a quiet junction, away from the main road. Food is good. Prices are reasonable. Recommended.

The Sambal Udang is one of Malaysian favourite dish. The gulai ikan is good. Recommended for everyone.

I ate half rice, one fried chicken, few veggies and drank plain water. Total paid RM12.

Came here for lunch while waiting to pick up daughter from school nearby. The place was a bit cramped but environment was clean. It can be a bit warm in the afternoon but we got a table under the fan. There were plenty of vintage paraphernalia as decorations, which was quite unique. Had the malay mixed rice. Took fried catfish, and curried beef. Catfish was well cooked, neither overcooked nor undercooked. Very crisp on the outside and tender on the inside and well seasoned. The beef was tender and curry gravy was savoury. Iced coffee was strong and moderately sweet just the way I like it. Price here is on the high side. I understand why some reviewers gave lower rating due to this. But if the taste of food satisfies your palate, then the price shouldn't be much an issue. Plus, this eatery is in the touristy part of georgetown, where most eateries' menu are highly priced.

Had nasi goreng with sambal sotong and sambal petali with prawns, nasi lemak and lontong (which is hard to find in Penang). Made fresh and all were tasty.

It's around one month I'm in Penang, and it was the first time I was so impressed with the food😍, I don't say others were bad, but this one was amazing.♥️ Thank you for the wonderful meal.
